Our room was attractive, comfortable and well located. It was also very quiet. Just a short walk from the beautiful old part of town and the beach. It was great to relax on the beach after a morning of sightseeing and wandering.|The staff was friendly and helpful.|Our room was spotless.|Breakfast was included and the croissants were fantastic. A wide selection was served-fruit, cold cuts, cheese, cereal, etc. Very generous.|We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

Le Relais du Postillon is fantastic and I will be returning. It is housed in a typical old townhouse on a pedestrianised square in the old town of Antibes, just a 10 minute walk to the train station. The bus station is around the corner. My bedroom had a large patio with a wooden floor which was not overlooked at all. Total privacy to sit in the sun and read. There is a primary school behind the hotel so it was very quiet except for the joyful laughter of children during play time. My room had a very comfortable bed, private bathroom with a good shower, desk and large wardrobe. There was a tv with French channels. Some programs were in English. The breakfast buffet was the best I have experienced in France. The croissants and pains au chocolat were the best I have ever tasted and I tasted quite a few. The bread changed daily but was lovely and fresh. The fresh fruit, especially the melon, was divine. There was a lot of choice. You could sit inside or outside on the terrace. Dinner at Le Relais du Postillon was delicious. I stayed at the hotel for dinner three times. The portions are very large and the ingredients are fresh and tasty. Great value for money! I was a solo traveler and felt welcomed and safe. There was a lovely atmosphere. It was obvious that the staff liked working there and know the area well. I could leave my luggage until I had to go to the airport which was a great help. I love Le Relais du Postillon in Antibes! I will be back!

This is a lovely small hotel in a great location in Antibes. Cleanliness was excellent and there is a small lift which is useful for luggage. The rooms are nicely decorated (they are better than they look in the photos) and the reception and housekeeping staff were very polite. Check in and check out were very smooth and the man on reception kindly ordered us a good taxi to the airport. The only downsides were that the bar staff weren't very friendly and the square was quite loud on one of the three nights we stayed. The noise wasn't an issue for the other nights though, and it was easy to cancel out with earplugs.

This is a lovely hotel, particularly for a short winter break! Just 16 rooms which is perfect. It is in a fabulous location in the old town of Antibes with shops, bars, restaurants, the Picasso Museum and the marina within easy walking distance. Our room overlooked the main square and I would strongly recommend staying in one of the front rooms for the view. It was excellent value for money. There was a very comfortable and cosy lounge/bar which served meals and refreshments throughout the day. An excellent choice of hotel at this time of year and it was obviously very popular with the locals. All the staff were helpful, friendly and welcoming. I can't fault it, we will definitely return, possibly next December so that we can visit the Christmas market and see the lights. We were just a bit too early this time.

I loved this hotel! There were mixed reviews and I booked anyway as the location is excellent for exploring Antibes and surrounding areas being close with to bus stops and restaurants nearby. I found the rooms to be quiet and well appointed with very comfortable beds and linens The elevator did not bother me at all and I am assuming the people that gave poor reviews based on the elevator are extremely light sleepers. Also, the staff is very nice and helpful. Once again the poor reviews must be from grumpy people. I loved my stay and cannot wait to return!

We had a very enjoyable stay at Hotel Le Relais du Postillon. Position is 5 star and easy to walk to the Old Town and perfect for our overnight stop. We parked in the car park nearby and by paying with the hotel direct when you check out is cheaper than paying in the actual car park.||We were given a warm welcome on arrival and upgraded to a lovely room overlooking the square on the fourth floor. The continental buffet breakfast was very good. I highly recommend this hotel.

This is a lovely 600-year-old old building and surprisingly quiet considering it's on a public square (and we were there on Saturday night). Breakfast was fine and it looked as if the restaurant/open air eating and drinking were also good. We had to book at short notice and were told that we'd need to stay in a small double room for one night but would then be moved to a larger room with twin beds... This sadly seems to have been untrue. We did manage to get a room with a spare sofa-bed on the second night, but only after making a fuss. So that was sad. I must commend the showers in both rooms , the only hotel showers I've every used that didn't leak onto the floor! Old-fashioned but great. Other things, not so good. The lift for instance has to be reached by several stairs on each floor, so it's not really accessible and it was hard to heave the luggage in. This is probably understandable in such a historic building but not ideal for the older guest... If you are fit, this is a really nice central but quiet place just minutes from the bus and train stations in one direction and the old town squares and Provencal market in the other. Not far either from the old port and the town beach underneath the old ramparts... But for someone with a slight back and knee injury like me it wasn't ideal.

I only went for an early evening drink and wouldn’t return which is a shame as I was looking for places to arrange a group meeting the following evening. Nothing wrong with the initial welcome and the drink sitting outside. When I asked to pay I was told to go I side as I needed to use a card, no problem, but was then greeted with a huff and asked if I had cash. I offered a 50 euro note but they had no change. Not really my problem. As I the paid by card I saw a big sign saying 10 euros minimum for card payment. Nothing mentioned of this outside and, quite frankly, if you can’t find a payment solution that doesn’t peanalise that heavily, at least keep change. I run a retail business so understand the challenges but also have a grasp of customer service. The lady ‘serving’ me didn’t even respond to my merci and bon soirée. It left me feeling like they wanted me to be wrong rather than them being unprepared. Obviously I took my group of 18 elsewhere the next night and we had a lovely time. I really feel for the future of rude places like this.
