This is a lovely hotel, particularly for a short winter break! Just 16 rooms which is perfect. It is in a fabulous location in the old town of Antibes with shops, bars, restaurants, the Picasso Museum and the marina within easy walking distance. Our room overlooked the main square and I would strongly recommend staying in one of the front rooms for the view. It was excellent value for money. There was a very comfortable and cosy lounge/bar which served meals and refreshments throughout the day. An excellent choice of hotel at this time of year and it was obviously very popular with the locals. All the staff were helpful, friendly and welcoming. I can't fault it, we will definitely return, possibly next December so that we can visit the Christmas market and see the lights. We were just a bit too early this time.

I loved this hotel! There were mixed reviews and I booked anyway as the location is excellent for exploring Antibes and surrounding areas being close with to bus stops and restaurants nearby. I found the rooms to be quiet and well appointed with very comfortable beds and linens The elevator did not bother me at all and I am assuming the people that gave poor reviews based on the elevator are extremely light sleepers. Also, the staff is very nice and helpful. Once again the poor reviews must be from grumpy people. I loved my stay and cannot wait to return!

We had a very enjoyable stay at Hotel Le Relais du Postillon. Position is 5 star and easy to walk to the Old Town and perfect for our overnight stop. We parked in the car park nearby and by paying with the hotel direct when you check out is cheaper than paying in the actual car park.||We were given a warm welcome on arrival and upgraded to a lovely room overlooking the square on the fourth floor. The continental buffet breakfast was very good. I highly recommend this hotel.

This stay was for 4 rooms/4 guests/4 nights - a group of women traveling together for a mini-conference. Very good Quality/Price ratio - the quality and decor of the rooms (each one different from the next, each has it's own charm) and sitting areas. comfort and hospitality - all is to be appreciated. This small hotel has a lot to offer. Very good terrace, as well. Staying in the historical center of Antibes is a delight and the location and accessibility to parking, buses, trains could not be better. The original reservation (in a nearby village) had to be cancelled at the last minute due to technical reasons, so I contacted this hotel in urgence to explain the situation - Gilles (Reception) could not have been more helpful in arranging the situation. This attitude continued throughout the stay - very professional and amiable staff. All of this was much appreciated. The group very much enjoyed their stay, and look forward to returning again in the future. Thank you, Hotel Relais du Postillon!

This is a lovely 600-year-old old building and surprisingly quiet considering it's on a public square (and we were there on Saturday night). Breakfast was fine and it looked as if the restaurant/open air eating and drinking were also good. We had to book at short notice and were told that we'd need to stay in a small double room for one night but would then be moved to a larger room with twin beds... This sadly seems to have been untrue. We did manage to get a room with a spare sofa-bed on the second night, but only after making a fuss. So that was sad. I must commend the showers in both rooms , the only hotel showers I've every used that didn't leak onto the floor! Old-fashioned but great. Other things, not so good. The lift for instance has to be reached by several stairs on each floor, so it's not really accessible and it was hard to heave the luggage in. This is probably understandable in such a historic building but not ideal for the older guest... If you are fit, this is a really nice central but quiet place just minutes from the bus and train stations in one direction and the old town squares and Provencal market in the other. Not far either from the old port and the town beach underneath the old ramparts... But for someone with a slight back and knee injury like me it wasn't ideal.

I only went for an early evening drink and wouldn’t return which is a shame as I was looking for places to arrange a group meeting the following evening. Nothing wrong with the initial welcome and the drink sitting outside. When I asked to pay I was told to go I side as I needed to use a card, no problem, but was then greeted with a huff and asked if I had cash. I offered a 50 euro note but they had no change. Not really my problem. As I the paid by card I saw a big sign saying 10 euros minimum for card payment. Nothing mentioned of this outside and, quite frankly, if you can’t find a payment solution that doesn’t peanalise that heavily, at least keep change. I run a retail business so understand the challenges but also have a grasp of customer service. The lady ‘serving’ me didn’t even respond to my merci and bon soirée. It left me feeling like they wanted me to be wrong rather than them being unprepared. Obviously I took my group of 18 elsewhere the next night and we had a lovely time. I really feel for the future of rude places like this.

Rooms have no sound proofing at all so noise from voices & TVs (attached to dividing wall) means you could be in your neighbours room.  Rooms are around the lift so you hear the noise from that as well as everyone coming in late in the evening.   For a 3 star hotel the towels are threadbare.  Internet constantly drops out.|The room I was in & rhe bathroom are very small, There was barely space to put a suitcase.  Staff & breakfast really nice just unfortunate about the noise issues - I could even forgive the size of the room if not for the noise.

Great place. Great price. Great location. The staff is amazing and so friendly. Great breakfast and very accommodating. Very cozy room, but cannot say enough about the staff. They were so great and made our stay enjoyable. Also the food was great.
