We recently visited St-Sauveur to enjoy the beauty of the Laurentians and the many hiking trails the region has to offer. Accommodations were very clean and comfortable, and it was great to have a room with a kitchenette. Outdoor pool, hot tub and sauna were great to have access to. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the property is located in a quiet area. Location is very walkable to many fine restaurants and shops located on the Rue Principale.

I was disappointed with the Hotel and our room. When I checked their website I was under the belief that the suite was Queen size bed but was a double bed and a Murphy bed which was as very hard to sleep on ,also there is black mold on bathroom wall near shower also chipped paint on the walls, also the hallways were very dirty need a good cleaning. The web site says restaurants as if they are at the Hotel but no restaurants there ,they are a good 5 minute drive away. The cleaning staff and front desk were not very friendly. We were supposed to spend 3 nights but had enough and left after 2 nights. I will not go back there ond advise any family or friends not to go there.

NEEDS SECURITY and Monitoring. People having sex in hot tub at night. Gross. Pot being smoked in spas area. Great rooms. Great location. Friendly and overworked staff. Will be fantastic when all renovated.

This is a very dated motel in very, very serious need of a major refresh. Everything reeks of the 80s and is either completely run down, damaged, dirty and/or needs repairs. The room wasn’t up to our expectations at all, but the pool was ok. The overall look and feel was more like a cheap hookup motel rather than the cute and nice hotel they want you to believe it is. Definitely not worth what they’re charging. I rarely write negative reviews, if ever. Unfortunately, this has to be one of them.

If Saint-Sauveur is Quebec’s cozy-chic playground, then Relais St-Denis is the writer’s hideaway tucked just off the main stage—equal parts retreat and recharge station. We spent four splendid days there, and let me tell you, the only thing more relaxing than the hot tub was how quickly we forgot what day it was. From the moment we arrived, check-in was a breeze—friendly, fast, and unfussy. The staff were a warm blend of professionalism and genuine Québécois charm, treating us more like returning friends than temporary guests. It’s that kind of place. Our room? Large, spotless, and quietly elegant. It didn’t try to impress with flash—it charmed with comfort. Think: a king-sized bed that feels like a hug, subtle décor touches that whisper "boutique" rather than shout it, and a fireplace that had us daydreaming about coming back in the thick of a snowy February. (Spoiler: we will.) The outdoor pool, sauna, and hot tub were clean and inviting—somehow managing to feel like a resort without ever losing that private, backyard magic. There’s something about the layout that’s pure genius: the jardin envelops you. It’s like spending time at your best friend’s place, the one who just happens to have excellent taste and a soft spot for serenity. The spa on-site sealed the deal. We both indulged in a soothing massage—ideal after a day of strolling through Saint-Sauveur's shops—and my wife emerged from her manicure and pedicure glowing. The staff at the spa are attentive, skilled, and deeply in tune with the art of helping guests slow down and breathe. Relais St-Denis also scores big for location. It’s mere minutes from the area’s best boutiques, gourmet spots, and even a few guilty pleasure pastry shops (don’t worry, we’re not telling anyone about the third croissant). Whether you're looking to hit the slopes or sip local wine over a candlelit dinner, it’s all nearby. In short? This was the kind of stay that resets your internal compass. It’s not just a place to sleep—it’s a place to be. Whether you're escaping the city for summer sun or chasing snowflakes and silence in winter, Relais St-Denis delivers a stay that’s as rejuvenating as it is memorable. We'll be back. With notebooks in hand, and maybe an extra day added next time. Just in case.

This hotel provides excellent service. It has an outdoor pool and spa open until 11:00 PM. The front desk staff is very friendly. The room is spacious and the location is close to the city center. I will definitely come back again. Many thanks !

We booked a two-night stay at this hotel. We left after one night even if already paid and non refundable. We just couldn’t. You see needs for repairs and updates everywhere, in the rooms, common areas, exterior etc. There is old furniture which deserves to be thrown to trash. See the picture of the sofa I included in this review. I paid more for a « suite » as I prefer to have a sofa and it was too disgusting and uncomfortable to sit on, If I owned this place, I would be ashamed to have people pay for this. Hopefully, someone with deeper pockets could take this over and turn it around as the is a lot going for it, such as location.

Yelp
My fav weekend escape ! Awesome friendly staff and even nicer guests. They're still trying to fix the spa part of the hotel but Hr he hot tub is hot so that's good for us.

Yelp
I stayed here a number of times but they don't clean their fireplaces properly. Many times there's lots of ashes in them, they smell. If you burn a log the ashes will emit toxic fumes and carbon monoxide. Last time I stayed I developed a bad cough because of the fumes. It's hazardous to guests health. They don't seem to care. As long as they get your money. Also rusty old heaters in bathrooms, Windows that are sealed shut or no screens on windows, Stained chairs. I think this place was sold to new owners some time ago and it's poorly managed.

Yelp
100% the most kind staff ever! Rooms are nice, bed was comfortable and the garden with the pool, hot tub and sauna were perfect. The town is beautiful and romantic, plus the paths are beautiful. I will be back!
