First off, the good. The hotel is ideally situated. Only a short drive to the ski hills. Restaurants, stores and groceries are walkable. Good thing they had a heated pool because we tried the hot tub and it was a lovely shade of brownish-green. My young children would not go in! The room was spacious and the linens were clean. The internet worked well and many of tv channels to choose from. The fridge, sink, microwave and toaster oven came in very handy. |The bad.|The room smelt like dirty linen, must, old man's aftershave upon arrival. My youngest wanted to go home immediately. I opened the window for a few hours. There was a murphy bed without a secure closure or lock and probably why a couch was pushed up against it. I moved the couch to find a treasure trove of garbage and food, and then pulled down the bed where I left it for our entire stay (for safety reasons). The toilet paper holder was broken, seemed to have been ripped off the wall due to use. |Would I go back, yes! Would I call and ask that I did not get room 2**, yes!! I would fully accept that the hot tub may be discoloured - it was March break after all. And the complaints about children running and playing catch in the hall, very true! No elevators, so plan accordingly. Finally, every day I had to visit the front desk to get my key reprogrammed. That was super annoying.
