We spent our last night of a 4 night stay, at the Riad Laksour in Marrakech, as the Riad where we had spent the previous 3 nights, was over booked. It is quite reasonably priced. We paid 85 Euros for our 1 night stay.||The Riad Laksour is a very traditional Riad, French owned by Catherine & Michel, who are very welcoming hosts. The friendly couple speak very little English, but with my little bit of French and a few written notes, we were able to communicate effectively!||This is an authentic Riad and the traditional decor and ambience, reflects this. The courtyard is open to the elements. Trees & foliage flourish freely and the sounds of the souks & the square can be heard whilst sitting in the courtyard.||Inside the rooms, the decor is distinctly Moroccan. Our room was spacious and had a large bathroom, with a decent shower, but no hairdryer.||The roof terrace is very spacious, with great views over the whole of the medina. There are plenty of loungers & lots of space to chill out.||We had breakfast at the Laksour on the day of our departure. It was a typical Moroccan breakfast, with lovely fresh orange juice & pancakes.||The Riad Laksour is very close to the Jemma el Fna and quite easy to locate, once you know which alleyway to walk down! ||This was a pleasant stay for one night and if you are looking to stay in a very traditional Riad, then the Laksour will appeal.
