Le Robinet d'Or(Hôtel Restaurant quartier Gare du Nord Gare de l'Est, canal Saint-Martin)

I almost want to keep this chic little hotel a secret, but it deserves the recommendation. I’ve stayed here several times now, and it genuinely feels like a home away from home. This small boutique hotel is ideally located near Canal Saint-Martin and is easily accessible from both Gare du Nord and Gare de l’Est with lovely cafes and restaurants close by. The atmosphere is stylish yet cosy, with beautifully designed rooms and thoughtful touches such as L’Occitane toiletries, a Nespresso machine, and a breakfast buffet that offers excellent value for money. The on-site restaurant serves very good food alongside fantastic cocktails, making it easy to enjoy an evening in. What really sets this hotel apart, however, is the exceptional service. The team is warm, welcoming, and always happy to help—nothing ever feels like too much trouble for Maxime, Ahmir and the rest of the team. I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else in Paris.

My wife and I had a delightful stay for five days. Perfect location. Better than average sized room. Ours had a view over the street and was nice and clean. Loved the L’occitane soaps etc. Great breakfast selection. Handy location only 10 mins walk from Gare du Nord and meters from Canal Saint Martin and bike path. The highlight were the staff who couldn’t have done more to help. Would highly recommend and we will return next time we are in Paris. And no elevator is not a problem as the staff will carry bags for you.

Very welcoming and friendly staff. We booked the junior suite and got a free room upgrade. The suite was very spacious, shower was very good and bed was comfortable. Had a small fridge and Nespresso machine. Location was very good, pretty quiet, local restaurants and bakery. A few minutes walk to the closest metro station. We ordered room service on one evening from the restaurant which was very tasty. Camembert starter was very nice and on the sweet side. Steaks frites and chicken mains were a good portion size and very tasty. Milkshake was very nice as well. A very good experience, highly recommend and would book here again next time we come to Paris.

Beautiful boutique hotel located in the 10th arrondissement. Chose it even though there was no elevator. Staff helpfully put luggage in rooms. Stairs were long to walk up to second floor rooms but we knew that. Room could have used one more central light but otherwise everything was perfect. We enjoyed the restaurant for dinner one night and food was good although waiter was not the best. Would definitely return if that area was on the schedule. Staff were exceptionally helpful and rooms were very clean and well-stocked.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Gare de l’Est and Gare du Nord stations and Metro connections to the main sights. We chose to be near the stations for access to and from the Eurostar rather than being right on the doorstep of the main sights and it worked well for us and we enjoyed experiencing a different area of the city near the Canal which we may not have otherwise discovered. The receptionist upgraded our room booking to a spacious suite free of charge which was a lovely surprise for our wedding anniversary. We were also invited for a complimentary drink in the bar. We loved the traditional Parisian feel of the hotel but with modern amenities. After a lot of deliberation in choosing a hotel for our break, I’m so pleased we chose this one. Our booking didn’t include breakfast but we could turn up on the morning without booking and were accommodated with no problem. There is a cheaper light breakfast for €7.50 or the full buffet for €15 per person.

I wasn't a guest of the hotel, but I went with a large group to the restaurant. Everything was incredible! Food was filling and delicious and service was incredible. I got the truffle scallop risotto and it was SO GOOD! Service was great, waiter was helpful and funny and the kitchen was fast. Definitely a highlight of my trip! Would go again!

Almost a perfect stay in a very quite area of Paris. Classic dishes in the hotel restaurant were delicious and very affordable for a hotel restaurant. Just one small problem which can be fixed but does not allow me to give 5 stars for the stay - slightly clogged drain in the bathroom. Otherwise an unbeatable price/quality ratio for Paris. Thank you!

Our stay was for a longer weekend and only two nights. The room was spacious and clean with everything necessary we could need. The location wasn’t right in the center and it was a bit pricey for the night but very comfortable. We only had breakfast once and it was fresh with good selection of dishes. Overall it was a really nice stay and the staff were very kind.
