An amazing place to stay. Super clean, modern, cosy and quiet. Room was spacious and the beds comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly and very helpful. We will def. come back. The location is also great, but always depends on what you want to do in Paris.

Hotel and staff were just lovely- my friend Anna and I felt very welcome and looked after. The rooms were perfect and the decor throughout the hotel fabulous- clearly much thought put into it. The (new) coffee maker in my room (303) did not work and it was immediately replaced. Nice to have the kettle and also to be able to make tea. Very nice to have the ironing board! And super that there is coffee/tea station for guests to help themselves. And... for me, everyone very patient in my efforts to speak some French!!! Great atmosphere in the bar and restaurant- we had supper there on Monday evening and got chatting to two young women who regularly go for a Monday night bottle of wine and work debrief. Great fun. Thank you all very much- I will definitely be back (and think I may go for a larger room- such as 305, which has a sofa and sitting area and still with bathroom with a window- this is totally NOT a complaint about the size of 303... it was perfect, but I am a "big room" person!). Warmly to all, Susan Hawker.

Firstly - thanks to the team at Le Robinet D'Or! The rooms were great! They were clean (and cleaned every day), modern and large - which we needed with kids. It's not a full fledged hotel in the classic sense of what you imagine a hotel to be - i.e. not a single building with lobby, elevators etc. The rooms are accessible from the street, just outside the restaurant/reception. It's next door as a separate entrance to the building. Pictures can be misleading so wanted to mention that...however it worked out just fine and we were very happy! You need to be able to climb stairs though. There is a small reception, which is accessible 24/7 and the staff are very friendly and helpful. They even carried our suitcases up and down! 5 stars to the staff. The restaurant is really good too. The french cuisine menu and food is great for anyone who eats meat (not so vegetarian/child friendly). The breakfast option is just right for travellers - we made use of it most days. FYI- Make sure you tell them each day you're eating breakfast otherwise they don't keep track and then you end up having to pay for all days. All in all our stay was extremely comfortable. We were a group of 10 - across 3 rooms - and it was more than we expected from a Paris hotel room. I was a first time visitor to Paris so I didn't realise how large a city it is. Having said that, Canal Saint Martin is a little further away from most places - we ended up spending wayyy too much time in cabs / metro. You really had to plan ahead and not to come back until you wanted to end your day.

A truly lovely hotel in an ideal location: walking distance from the Gare de l'Est if you're coming in by many regional trains, and less than a 10 minute walk from the Gare du Nord if you're coming in from the airport via the RER. The area is vibrant, with a real neighborhood feel, but the rooms of the hotel itself are quiet and peaceful. The rooms are well laid-out and decorated, with all the necessities. The staff is lovely, always ready to answer questions or help with little things you might need. And it's especially nice - for dinner or even just a drink at the end of the day - to have an excellent restaurant just downstairs!

I can highly recommend this hotel. First and foremost, the location for travellers arriving and departing from Gare de l'Est is just perfect. A mere 5 min. walk and here you are! The employees are all very kind, very welcoming! We were upgraded to a bigger room, which was nice. The room is very well equipped, and super clean nothing to say about this. The only aspect you may need to consider: the walls between the rooms are thin, and you can hear activities in the bathroom next door. Also, the hotel's restaurant located at street level, has a terrace, so you hear people chat and laugh while enjoying a glass of french wine. But hey, this is Paris, and part of the game, but so you know! We will be back for sure!

We had a great 3 night stay here. The location was perfect - close to the Metro but also the canal with lots of bars and restaurants. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great. Would highly recommend!

Stayed here because of its close location to Gare de l’Est for one night to catch a train in the morning. Gigantic room, with extra plug in heater to stay warm. Clean. Unfortunately, no bath tub. Nice restaurant on site for dinner or breakfast. Kind and welcoming front staff. We did have to go up a flight of stairs, which could be a problem for those with mobility issues. Overall a great choice.

Perfect location: gare du nord and gare du est just a couple of minutes away by foot. The district is calm, clean and friendly. Metro station also just a few minutes away. Ca.45 Minutes by foot to Louvre. It has been a third time at this hotel. Everything was fine. The breakfast was much better than in 2017 and 2018. But it would be really nice if cheese would be freshly cut every morning. None of the guests had touched those hard dark yellow slices from a day before. Just a hint.
