Le Roch Hotel & Spa

"How did it strike you on arrival?Reflecting its surrounding area—where the Tuileries gardens and Place Vendôme mingle with residential buildings and neighborhood schools and churches—La Roche tempers high design and haute cuisine with a relaxed, unassuming vibe. The first hotel project for designer Sarah Lavoine, known for her Parisian boutiques and lifestyle product collections, the tucked-away hotel (pronounced “la rock”) nails the home-away-from-home feel with spaces that flow gently into the next, beginning with a smart library filled with art and design books, a fireplace, and sofas made for sinking into. Nice. What’s the crowd like?Discerning travelers with an eye for detail and a love of the authentic nod in recognition of each other over cocktails in the garden. The good stuff: Tell us about your room.Upholstered headboards, Art Deco-inspired style, patterned rugs, limited-edition lithographs, and a palette of mustards, woods, and deep blues help infuse the 37 rooms with both style and soul. Sizes range from a not-too-tight Cozy to Indulgence suites with private steam baths. All are kitted out with flatscreen TVs, Bluetooth speakers, tea and coffee making hardware, and an interactive tablet that connects you to the internet, room service, and a live chat with the concierge. Everything is bathed in flattering lighting, courtesy of the large windows, interior reflective paneling, and discreetly-placed bulbs. Please tell us the bathroom won’t let us down.Stylish bathrooms are powered by Italian showers or bathtubs (ask in advance, if you have a preference), and products from French brand, Codage. The Deluxe Indulgence rooms have beautifully tiled en-suite hammams. Maybe the most important topic of all: Wi-Fi. What’s the word?Wi-Fi is complimentary. Staff: If you could award one a trophy, who gets it, and why?All the staff are helpful and quick with tips, but particularly notable is the concierge team. Anything stand out about other services and features? Whether it’s childcare, gyms, spas, even parking—whatever stuck with you.The kitchen crafts seasonal, flavorful works of culinary art, from hearty breakfasts and gourmet lunches and dinners in the restaurant to light bites in the lounge (Note that the restaurant is open for lunch Monday to Friday and dinner Tuesday to Saturday.) Handcrafted cocktails and fine wines can be enjoyed around the fireplace, on the terrace, or in the peaceful garden. The wellness level helps you keep active with a small, mirror-lined gym, detoxed with a steam hammam, and relaxed with personalized Codage spa treatments, including a signature, 75-minute massage/facial combo. Rare for Paris is the swimming pool, this one made of black lava rock, and flowing right into the hammam. Bottom line: worth it, and why?If you like discerning design without the attitude, this central hideaway is yours for the savoring." - Sandra Ramani

We stayed here for the final leg of our trip to Europe, and it was a great choice. The hotel is just a 10 l-15 minute walk from the Louvre, making it an ideal location for sightseeing. The property itself is beautiful, with spacious rooms and modern, stylish decor.||The staff was warm and accommodating throughout our stay, and housekeeping did an excellent job of keeping our room refreshed daily. We truly enjoyed our time here and would gladly return.

Tonight was supposed to be my second visit to Le Roch. Our first stay was flawless and we were excited to come back. Sadly, our flight from Venice to Paris was cancelled. Other flights were fully booked and we are no longer spending 2 nights in Paris. The hotel did not have to be accommodating to my family as we are technically past the cancellation period. That said, they went above and beyond, understanding the horrible day we had, and cancelled my stay without penalty. Yes, the hotel is beautiful and we will 100% be back, but the way they handled this situation impressed me more than the property itself

I reserved this hotel with Marriott points, and it wasn’t cheap. The rooms on the website photos appeared elegant. It turns out that photoshopping found its market with this hotel. My room was small and ordinary at best. It would have been ok for a rate one quarter of the price, but this was dumpy. The desk clerk apologized for not being able to give me an upgrade. He also informed me that they do not give Titanium members free breakfast. |Since it was late, we decided to eat at the hotel dining room. The bouef bourgignon was ordinary, I can make a better version at home and I’ve actually had an equivalent product out of a can. We made the mistake of thinking a burger should be fine almost everywhere . The burger for lunch was edible but not much better.|Ordered a bakery basket for breakfast - it would have been free at any other Marriott product but not here. Pastries were not served warm and I received no butter or jams.|The shower was excellent, as were the towels - about the only thing that justified the price of the room.|On the last day we intended to sleep late, pack, go do some shopping, then taxi to the train station.at 1130 am I was awakened by the phone - the front desk wanted to know if we needed to store luggage. I was stupid enough to think that this hotel might actually recognize Titanium status with a late checkout, but it wasn’t to be. We hurriedly showered, dressed, and packed. It didn’t help that the housekeeping staff knocked on our door three times over the next 90 minutes, despite the Do Not Disturb sign on the door.|Our plans for a pleasant day shattered, we took a taxi to the station and waited there, giving up the opportunity to get a few souvenirs for the kids back home.|I was asked at checkout how my stay had been. When I replied “substandard” she appeared stunned. I couldn’t think of a better word. In no way was this stay acceptable to anyone for the cost, let alone to a Marriott Titanium member. I wonder why they want to be part of Marriott when they have interest or intention of participating in recognizing the elite members of the Rewards program. I got the impression that they felt being a member of the Design Group made them special. I guess it does, but not in a good or enviable way.

A charming restaurant (not necessarily for the hotel guests) walking distance from the Louvre with a great atmosphere and delicious French cuisine. The onion soup is a foolproof choice—rich, flavorful, and perfectly comforting. There’s a chance to get a table without a reservation, but it’s best to arrive early.

Stayed during the Olympics period and paid triple the normal price because we booked 4 months in advance, only to find out rates dropped significantly before our stay due to low demand. While the hotel's location is excellent for walking to major attractions and the decor is stylish and charming, there were significant issues that impacted our stay. The biggest problem was the ongoing construction next door—the noise was unbearable and made sleeping past 8 AM impossible, even on weekends. Additionally, the hammam feature in the bathroom was not working properly.

Google
Gorgeous hotel in an absolutely fabulous location in the 1st. Walking distance to everything, close to Metro, lots of delicious food options within a stone’s throw (I mean, it IS Paris!) Rooms were very clean and well-appointed. Staff went above and beyond to make our stay special and memorable. Highly recommend staying here, and will absolutely book again!

We stayed here on a long layover, but I found it to be a wonderful hotel in a great location. Staff was super friendly and provided top notch service! The room (we got upgraded to a cozy room) was clean, stylish, and had everything we needed. I slept very well even though the hotel is centrally located, as it’s off a quiet street so the rooms are quiet as well. ||||Next time we are back in Paris we will definitely stay here again (and for longer!).

Google
Very nice hotel and good experience with them. Pros: - location is amazing, walking distance to all the important tourist sites in Paris - amazing decoration, truly enjoy the time there - good customer service Cons: - the shower water pressure was bad, and the water temperatures is hard to control - the price is expensive considering all things, but Paris hotel are overall overpriced. Can be improved - the pool looks nice, but the water temperature can be improved as the area supposed to be warm

Yelp
Our stay here was amazing! To be saying we felt special is an understatement. Everyone during our stay was incredibly friendly and before we checked in, they showed us around while setting up our room. It was my birthday, so without even mentioning it, they surprised us with a bottle of champagne and some macarons to help us celebrate! The room was very well designed with a modern aesthetic, and extremely comfortable at the same time. The bed was amazing and you could easily spend an evening in the tub. Everything was tastefully done down to an open closet behind the bed, the planters outside the windows, and the color. Every part of this hotel, made me want to never leave! Its location was also perfect for us, as we walked everywhere and didn't need a taxi except for the Eiffel Tower or airport. Waking up each morning and walking to a new park, then a museum and restaurants was a great way to spend each day and knowing we would come back to a hotel that was in itself something worth visiting made our days in Paris that much better. I can't mention enough how absolutely perfect the staff was! We felt incredibly welcomed and even when the hotel lends itself to having a great stay, they bent over backwards, from the doorman to the restaurant waiters, to make us feel at home. A special thank you should go out to the host as he was always there to greet us whenever we entered or left the hotel no matter what time it was. It was very sad to leave, but even for our taxi to the airport, I think they had a hand in making sure it was enjoyable, because he was the most professional taxi driver I have ever met.

Yelp
This is possibly the WORST hotel i've ever stayed at. It caused my whole family to fight. Rooms are TINY even the suite it was so not well decorated too. My husband told me there was a "balcony" but when I went to the "balcony" we got a DISTURBING view. Would not recommend this hotel to anybody not even a roach.

Yelp
My lovely bride and I stayed at Le Roch Hotel during the week before Memorial Day, and we had a wonderful experience there. The hotel was completely renovated 6 years ago. The rooms are modern, and the hotel is well managed. Service is impeccable, always promp and pleasant. We began every day with their continental breakfast. The location is excellent, walking distance to the Tuileries Garden, the Louvre, Musee D'Orsay, and Musee de l'Orangerie. Our first day we walked along the Seine to the Eiffel Tower. This hotel is highly recommended!

Yelp
Lovely chic hotel with a very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is located in the Opera area so there's a lot of things to do and places to eat. If you love Asian food, this place has it all. Korean, Japanese, Thai, Viet...you name it. Overall, great experience here.

Yelp
The best hotel we have stayed in many of our travels in Europe. The interior design of the hotel was stylish and exquisite with a mix of contemporary and traditional. We found the location of this hotel convenient within walking distance to the louvre, all the luxury flagship stores, and metro. Last but not the least, all the staff here were extremely friendly and welcoming, making us we feel at home as we were greeted by name. Julian the hotel manager and his team were very helpful - they helped us with all of our questions and needs. Le Roch also has an amazing spa which carries Codage a reputable French skincare brands. I tried the Le Roch signature massage package and felt completely refreshed and relaxed afterwards. We hope to stay at Le Roch when we come back to Paris, in the near future!

Yelp
We stayed at Le Roch for 4 nights while celebrating our anniversary in Paris. Everything about Le Roch was fantastic. The hotel itself was modern and very nice but not too stuffy. The room was beautiful and spacious. Our stay included breakfast which was delicious with crepes and eggs cooked to order, and fresh fruit, meats and cheeses to choose from. The location was unbelievable, just a 5 minute walk from The Louvre and Jardin des Tuileries. And the staff was amazing- everyone there wanted to make sure we were enjoying our stay, asking about where we had been and offering suggestions on where to go next. The concierge named Clement was particularly helpful, getting us tickets for concerts and events, making dinner reservations for us, and helping plan our itinerary during our stay. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a romantic and relaxing getaway.

Yelp
This hotel is absolutely stunning! The location is amazing; it is close to everything, but on a quiet street, giving it a neighborhood feel. The staff is incredibly attentive and friendly. The rooms are utterly luxurious! Our room had a sauna in the bathroom! The tub and the soaps and lotions in the room were wonderful. Our room looked out on to a lovely courtyard. The beds and bedding were incredibly comfortable. I love that they had USB ports to charge devices directly, and you could even sync your device with the TV! The hotel is new, and the pool wasn't open yet, but it looked beautiful. We had dinner at the restaurant, and it was the best meal I have ever eaten in my life. Book this hotel, and eat at the restaurant, you will not regret it!
