Le Ros Thai Asian Cuisine

I had an average take out meal from here last night. I ordered the Tom Kha soup (one of my absolute faves), and it was borderline sweet. I’m used to it having a touch of heat to balance the sweetness of the coconut out. It wasn’t something I would order again. I then also got the spicy udon noodles with chicken, which was “fine” but non-memorable. I may give it one more try, but I was less than impressed sadly.

Fantastic food. The green curry was amazing with a perfect blend of all the spices. Loved their rice presentation. The vegetables gyoza and shumai was pretty good too. The service was splendid with a welcoming atmosphere. A must visit restaurant in Marblehead.

I'm so thankful Le Ros offers delicious Thai food in Marblehead. I hope our community keeps them thriving for years to come. Our family orders from here frequently - especially on Mondays - and we have dined in as well (can be slightly chilly - bring a sweater but it's a really pretty atmosphere). I'm so glad they make the green curry perfectly with well cooked eggplant - hats off to the chef! Their pad see ew is also delicious, among other apps and entrees. Ordering on Sunday vs. Monday yesterday, there may have been a different chef - all seemed slightly different but still great.

This is my absolute favorite place for takeout in Marblehead. Everything I’ve gotten there is delicious. I go back time and again for the red curry and panang curry- the fried chicken is amazing with it. The crab rangoons are light and flavorful and I love the sauce they come with. Can’t recommend it enough!

I ordered pickup and was pleasantly surprised given the affordability. The way they serve their takeout is beautiful and practical. Their food is delicious and they have great vegetarian options. The server who gave me my order was very polite.

The service is outstanding. The wait staff is all very sweet. My husband and I were on vacation with our 4-month-old, who for the first time slept through the meal, allowing us to enjoy each other's company for the first time in months. Our candle blew out on our table, and within moments one of the wait staff came over to relight it and to say "I won't give up! I want to make sure it's romantic." This attention to detail absolutely made our night! The food was so delicious too!

I had an average meal here. I picked it up, and it was ready on time. The curry puffs just didn't have enough flavor or heat. Fried egg rolls were good, but Ginger Tofu entree was disappointing. Rubbery tofu, and only a few slivers of ginger, and the sauce didn't taste gingery. Agree the rice quantity is skimpy with entrees. One serving at most, so none left to have with leftover entree. In photo you can see how small the rice portion is.

The best Thai restaurant I've tried on the North Shore! Everything was excellent and very authentic, but the Khao Soi was the highlight for me. They very happily tossed a fried egg (khai dao!) on top of my wife's chicken krapow, which is always the mark of a fine Thai spot in my book 😋 🍳

My sister has been an avid fan of this place particularly for their Pad Thai. We arrived on a Tuesday night for dinner. We made reservations just in case online but found that wasn't necessary since there were plenty of tables open. I got to try some of my sister's pad thai basil chicken which was in fact, my favorite that I've had from any place. It was perfectly sweet, spicy, and salty. I liked my Indo fried rice but also felt liked it could have benefited from more of a kick. My mom enjoyed her broccoli Mushrooms beef which could have been better if the sauce was thicker but otherwise the taste was good! To end the meal, we split their Mango Sticky Rice which was the perfect amount of sweetness with some very ripe manngo. Overall, we had a great experience! The staff were beyond kind and more than happy to help. I loved the interior design as well as all the colors and textures which felt very intentional. It's great for either casual or slightly more dressy. Prices are also great for the portions provided. Cannot wait to come again!

Nice, consistent Thai food in the Marblehead area. The pad thai is consistently great and also the Massaman curry

After a few years of visiting this local restaurant and enjoying Thai food, we were floored by two recent issues. 1: Disruption of Clean up and spraying cleaner on tables ahead of closing time---though we were last customers seated on dining room. If a restaurant states it's open to 9 and customer is served at 8:30, please have courtesy to clean up and spray at closing. (Or at very least do the cleanup away from dining customers) 2: Revised checks with strongly suggested choice of 18/20/25% tips. I have always left up to 20% if the meal was pleasurable. The service was slow as the two staff (who are the only ones we've ever seen) were overwhelmed by the take out orders and a busy dining room. Perhaps the owner is in the kitchen? 3: The server was taken aback as she clearly expected a higher than customary tip and her co-server rudely commented an unintelligible nothing burger grunt. Could very well be due to our lovely quaint town having been taken over since covid by entitled equity elites from CT and Mass Bottom line is staying with standbys like Maddie's. No interest in being treated this way. Wont be back. Average of $75 x 32 visits over 4 years

I placed an order for dinner for 8 people and phoned in the order at 7:00 pm. I was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. I arrived at 7:30 and was informed that it would be ready in 10 more minutes. At 7:45 I inquired about the status of the order and was informed it would be ready in 5 more minutes. At 7:55 I asked again and was told that they would start cooking it soon and that I should wait another 20 minutes. The order that was promised for 7:30 was finally received at 8:15. No explanation, excuse, apologies or offer of a discount. Horrible customer service. Understaffed and poorly run. I have dined here several times and am used to fairly slow service, but this was the worst. May not ever return.

The servers were very friendly and attentive without interrupting the table. They were wonderful. The food was terrific and priced well. We had spring rolls, Pad Thai, and tofu and veggies in a peanut sauce. All really great. The spot was casual and family friendly but worked nicely as a date night spot, too. Overall, we're really happy to have found a place we look forward to coming back to.

I am a foodie and this restaurant has amazing Thai food with fantastic taste. We really enjoyed all selections of curry, especially with duck. The service is also very good and highly responsive!

I live on the west coast and have had difficulty finding good Thai food when I come to visit my family in Marblehead. We decided to try this restaurant this evening and were all impressed. The food was tasty and came with lots of fresh vegetables. We all really liked the Thai peanut sauce. The staff was also really friendly. I would highly recommend Le Ros.

This is the best food I've had in all of Marblehead/Swampscott area. We vist 4 times per year from NYC and are usually disappointed with restaurant foods here, but this was different! We ordered the pad see ewe (unsure of spelling, sorry!), drunken noodles, panang curry chicken, and chicken pineapple fried rice. Each and every dish was flavorful, plentiful, and thoughtfully done. We ordered out so I don't know what the service por ambiance is like, but our food was ready very quickly on a Saturday. We will return again, this will be our new spot!

We did a big takeout order with pad Thai, Thai stir fry veggies, massaman curry, gyozas and chicken satay and everything was fantastic. Super impressed! We'll be back!

Best pad Thai in town. No one near here serves crispy chicken pad Thai which is my favorite, but Le Ros has crispy chicken option for noodles, rice, and more. Delicious. The ambiance is great, beautiful interior, with even more charming wait staff and managers. They gave us a free chocolate cake for my friends birthday. Great for take out but I would highly encourage anyone to go and sit in to eat. Will be going back on a weekly basis. 5/5 stars.

I do like the pad Thai from them.. really good food. I've gotten takeout from them a few times as they are closeby. Food is always fresh and good. I only had one time where order was sort of messed up as I'm gf but it was taken care of by them - refunded through restaurant and not a problem. I would like to go there as everything looks amazing and I'd like to sample more things!

The owners are very rude and condescending to paying customers. Food is decent l. The service is horrible and they work their staff to exhaustion.

This place is amazing, food is amazing and fresh and the owners and staff are top notch! It is off the beaten path but not to be missed! Highly recommend!!

Fantastic Thai restaurant! A lovely space, warm, welcoming service, and absolutely delicious food. I devoured the House fried rice and Peking duck wrap. The food had a beautiful presentation, and the balance of flavors and textures was perfect. Will definitely be back to try some of their other dishes.

Le Ros is an excellent Thai restaurant and affordable! The staff are very pleasant and efficient. The food is amazing. I asked for a substitute and they were happy to accommodate me.

Fresh, delicious, authentic, super clean and inviting place. Service is fantastic and the menu has a ton of options to make everyone happy! Love the location, easy to park or walk to if you're lucky enough to live close by. Our new favorite place for Thai Asian food, BYOB for now is an amazing option to keep your costs down and enjoy an amazing dinner!!!! So happy to have you in Marblehead!!!

Terrible service. Can't even take a simple order over the phone. You'll wait an hour to have to pick up take out and that's even if they can understand what you're asking for. On top of that, they'll scream at you for asking to speak to someone who understands English. Very rude!

I enjoy Thai food and was happy to see Le Ros open in Marblehead. We opted to dine there rather than do take out based on the photos. Indeed, the dining room is nicely appointed and the tables are well spaced. After we reviewed the menu and made our choices, we waited 45 minutes for our appetizer to arrive. After finishing that, we waited another 20 minutes for our entrees. It wasn't just our table but nearly all the indoor tables were devoid of food. There was a steady stream of takeout orders being picked up so it was clear that was getting the priority from the staff. Our server didn't make any apologies or give any reason for the long wait. We ordered roti for an appetizer and was very disappointed. Unlike most restaurants which serve a generous amount, we were only given a few small triangles. Also, the sauce was rather watery and the potatoes included were undercooked and hard. For entrees, we had pineapple fried rice which was fine and salmon with a Penang curry sauce. The salmon was overcooked and the sauce was a bit lacking. The other disappointment is that they don't serve wine or beer so if you want an alcoholic drink with your dinner, you'll need to bring your own.

If I could give 6 stars I would. My panang curry was outstanding as was my husbands Pad Thai. Service, decor and music were also great. Love this new place and feel fortunate to have an outstanding Thai place in Marblehead. Some of the best Thai food I've ever had and I've had plenty. This will be part of our regular rotation. Hands down one of the best places (maybe THE best) in town.

I highly recommend the Panang Curry and sticky rice. Great service and delicious food. Definitely worth trying!

Okay, this NEW Thai restaurant in Marblehead is fantastic. WAY better than the former Thai restaurants that have occupied this same location over the years. The food is comparable to the incredible food I enjoyed in Thailand 20 years ago. I have ordered takeout thus far -- but the space looks much improved as well. Recommend!

Highly recommend le ros. The chicken grapoa is my favorite dish there its flavorful and had a little spicy kick to it. Although their prices aren't the cheapest, I don't blame them for the quality and location of marblehead. If youre looking for a take out meal that tastes good but isn't too unhealthy I recommend le ros.

I would argue that Le Ros is the best restaurant in Marblehead. The staff are incredibly kind, the interior is absolutely beautiful, and then there is the food.... five star rating doesn't even begin to explain how perfect the food is. To start we got crab rangoons, literally best goons I've ever had! Along with the Shumai, a dish I had never tried before but thanks to the menu of Le Ros it of course rocked my world, for a meat appetizer it was light and salty with a nice touch of ginger. The Tamarind Duck, was divine and fell right off the bone. And finally the yellow chicken curry(photo attached), a sweet and spicy yellow curry has always been a favorite of mine but Le Ros' was next level delicious, normally I'd finish the entire bowl, but I had to hold myself back so I could enjoy it again the next day as left overs, hard to do but so very worth it. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Le Ros is a new and modern asian and thai resturaunt in marblehead, i have had the pleasure of getting takeout there many times and it is our new go to place for if we aren't in the mood for cooking at home or are craving some authentic Thai, my go to order there would be their succulent house fried rice with shrimp, that has delectable spring onion and egg which to me are essentials in a good fried rice, as an appetizer i would get chicken satay for my family to split, and i would also get soup, generally miso or wonton soup, all at a solid price. I haven't gotten the chance to dine in the restaurant yet but there seems to be a renovated and modern interior that is improved since the previous restaurants that occupied the space. Ultimately it is one of the best Asian restaurants in the area.

Delicious food, Ample servings, Attentive staff and Wonderful atmosphere, reasonably priced and Lovely setting. We'll absolutely be back soon!

Every dish that my husband and I ordered tastes great. The food came out in a timely manner. Staffs are very friendly and very helpful. We will definitely go back there.

We both had the day off and wanted some time out in a downtown that wasn't as busy as Salem so we headed to Marblehead. We chose Le Ros in advance because they had a great lunch menu with lots of options and, even better, the chance to try a few things at once. We ate late so it was basically empty. The staff was welcoming and attentive. My husband ordered the unagi box and I had the vegetarian. We enjoyed both a great deal. The restaurant is lovely and off of Atlantic so it was quiet and calm. We will definitely go back to try more of what the menu has to offer. Try the fresh lemon/limeade!

First visit. Superb food. Arguably the best Thai I've ever had. This is fresh, gourmet cooking. Friendly, efficient staff. No liquor license yet but you can BYOB. Will definitely be going back.

We are Marblehead residents and just had a take out (because of the new Covid strain spread) dinner from here. Mango salad, Crispy Duck, Basil Pad Thai. It cam Quickly and was hot and great tasting.. Great addition to the Marblehead restraurant scene. We will be back !

Very solid Thai food! My standards are pretty high after having amazing Thai options in NYC for 8 years. But Le Ros did not disappoint. Got delivery so I don't know what the dine in situation is like, but I would def order from here again. The 4 out of 5 stars is relative to comparing it to my favorite Thai spot in NYC.

We went for Christmas Eve dinner. Fabulous. Everything was fresh and well seasoned. We had the duck soup, Pad CU, Crispy Duck, and Tamarind Shrimp. All very good. The ambiance is very nice and the staff are great.

I ordered takeout for lunch as this was my first time eating here. The crispy spring roll had no flavor and the dipping sauce came out of a bottle. I also had the glass noodles with tofu added. Most of the mushrooms were uncooked, some of the veggies had a strange flavor and the tofu chunks were way too big. This also lacked flavor and the sauce had an offensive taste. There were hardly any veggies either. The food here is just not worth it with so many other Asian restaurants nearby.

Tonight was my first time dining at Le Ros Thai Asian cuisine . The service was excellent. Sharone waited on us. She was very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious. We ordered Pad C U and it was absolutely delicious. We ordered duck noodle soup which was loaded with noodles and a rich spicy broth and tender duck leg. We also ordered pineapple fried rice which was a little sweet and very tasty. Needless to say we ate too much because everything was too good to stop eating . Took home the leftovers as the portions were generous. Would definitely Reccomend to friends and go back again. For a new business I believe they are here to stay as it's a really nice good food restaurant with a great ambiance and friendly staff.

Clearly a leader in Asian Cuisine on the North Shore. Highly recommended! The owner/chef is a great asset to our community.

We tried Le Ros last weekend. It was nice to see a restaurant in that location so busy. Under various owners in past years, the prior restaurants have not done so well. We were forewarned by someone who had ordered takeout the night before that the service might be slow, so our expectations were adjusted accordingly. It is true that there were only one or two servers, but they were very efficient, kind, and helpful, and it was not horribly slow. The food was very good. I was sorry their shumai had chicken in it, since none of us eat chicken, but we got the vegetable ravioli instead and it was pretty good. I got an eggplant vegetable basil stir fry dish that was very tasty and my hubby got a chicken curry which he also really enjoyed. I will definitely be a regular there.

The service and the food were delicious! We had the scallion pancakes, drunken noodles and panang curry. Everything was hot and well seasoned. We will be going back soon. They also do takeout.

Might be the best restaurant in Marblehead. Have been 3+ times and plan to go back. The Cashew Nuts with chicken, Tom Yum Wonton Soup, and Chicken Satay are all excellent. Staff is super friendly. Reasonable prices. Love this place so much.
