Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi

I recently stayed at Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi for two nights and, unfortunately, the experience was extremely poor regarding the quality and type of furniture and the comfort. My apartment in the 25th floor and the noise was unacceptable , it’s hard to believe this property carries a 5-star rating. In short, Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi does not meet even the basic expectations of comfort, or hospitality. I would never book here again, and I strongly recommend others look elsewhere if they expect a restful stay and proper service standards.

Deeply Disappointing Stay – Far from a 5-Star Experience I recently stayed at Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi and, unfortunately, the experience was extremely poor from start to finish. Firstly, the nightclub located on the 4th floor operates until 3:30am, and the bass from the music reverberates throughout the entire hotel. It’s impossible to get a proper night’s sleep, even on higher floors. For a hotel claiming to be five-star, proper soundproofing should be a given. At check-in, we specifically requested a non-smoking room, yet were given one that reeked of tobacco. When we requested a room change, we had to speak to four different managers, and the process dragged on for nearly an entire day. I eventually had to go down to reception myself to collect the new keys and move my own luggage because the concierge—despite repeated assurances—never showed up to assist. We were three people sharing a room, and the rollaway bed provided was unacceptable. The mattress was so poor that you literally sank to the floor. Even after complaining, no adequate replacement was arranged. The overall cleanliness and housekeeping standards were far below what one would expect from a hotel of this supposed caliber. Combined with the lack of professionalism from staff, it’s hard to believe this property carries a 5-star rating. In short, Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi does not meet even the basic expectations of comfort, service, or hospitality. I would never book here again, and I strongly recommend others look elsewhere if they expect a restful stay and proper service standards.

I attended an event at Le Royal Meridien Hotel in Abu Dhabi, and overall it was a pleasant experience. The event was well organized, the staff were polite and attentive, and the service was smooth. The buffet was okay with a decent variety, though it could be improved. The venue itself is elegant and suitable for events.

When they say “Royal” in Le Royal Meridien, they really mean it. The entire experience felt truly regal. The rooms are incredibly spacious and beautifully designed, with all the amazing amenities you could ask for. Their breakfast spread was absolutely unbelievable—so many delicious options to choose from. The vibes throughout the huge property are relaxing and elegant. Plus, the swimming pool is stunning and perfect for a refreshing dip. Overall, staying here felt like a genuinely royal experience.

The service at Le Royal Meridien is first class especially across all the restaurants and the Club Lounge ran by Raef and his team. Always professional, hardworking and attentive. I always feel welcomed and at home. Thoroughly recommend.

We had a really pleasant stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it. Upon check-in, we were pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to a sea view room, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The view was beautiful and really added to the whole experience. The room itself was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with everything we needed. One thing we really appreciated was the strong air conditioning, especially after coming back from the heat outside. It made a big difference in keeping us relaxed and well-rested. One thing we really appreciated was how responsive and helpful the staff were. From the front desk to housekeeping, everyone was professional and quick to attend to our requests. Speaking of breakfast, it was quite good, with a nice variety of fresh and tasty options. The dining area was well-maintained, and the overall service was excellent. The chefs, waiters and servers, were very friendly and attentive, making our breakfast experience even more enjoyable. They were polite, quick to assist, and always had a smile. The location is very convenient, close to shops, restaurants, and city attractions. The only downside is that it’s a bit far from Yas Island, so travel time should be considered if you're planning to go there often. But if you have your own transport or don’t mind taking a taxi, it’s not a big issue. Overall, we had a wonderful stay, felt truly taken care of, and would definitely come back again!

We stayed at this hotel for two days and it turned out to be an excellent choice for a city stay in Abu Dhabi. The staff were warm and welcoming, the entire hotel was very clean, and our room was large and spacious, which made the stay very comfortable. The restaurant served amazing food and the breakfast was especially good. Honestly, I cannot think of a single downside. We were very satisfied with the whole experience and would happily stay here again.
