Le Saint-Antoine (Rennes, Brittany) 1 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Le Saint-Antoine, in the Rennes city center, is a member of Best Western’s Premier Collection — we hasten to add for American readers that the Best Western name carries substantial weight in Europe. It’s as modern as can be, from its green-glass façade to the stylish simplicity of its Zen-inspired guest rooms. There’s a spa by Carita, as well as a substantial breakfast service; in the manner of many French boutique hotels, it does without a restaurant, though the location, in the very heart of Rennes, means you’re never short of options in that department." - Tablet Hotels

AC didn't work. Interesting garage elevator but you have to go the wrong way down the street to enter. It's confusing more than the usual France. Rooms are adequate but small. Nice though. Showers don't contain water so someone standing at the sink will get wet feet. Consider this a budget Hotel with a decent location if walking. Not far from the train.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly kind and helpful. The rooms clean and the breakfast awesome. Our biggest complaint was that everything seemed to be broken. When we arrived the car park was down, the spa, the steam room, the fitness equipment and the shower head. It was a bit disappointing, but good hotel overall.

Deluxe room was very comfortable and clean with separate toilet and bathroom. beds were good. We had a nice internal balcony. breakfast had a wide choice and quality. bar was a bit sparse, but okay for us. I reported the internal toilet door, which had to be slammed shut really hard, but nothing was done about it, so I have deducted a point for this. Nevertheless, we would recommend . Easy for the station and not far to centre of town

Super nice hotel close to the station in Rennes. I was able to check in early which was very nice after a very long flight. The front office staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and very clean as well. Breakfast was a buffet with a good range of tasty food. Very hard to go past French baguette and French jam!!!

Walking distance from the train station, friendly service, good breakfast. But there are no hooks in the bathroom to hang your clothes or towels. No extra lock on the door and no complimentary bottled water. For overnight stay it’s good enough.

The reception mistakenly sent other guests into my room while I was in the room already. And the door doesn't have a mechanical lock anyway; you can't prevent people from entering the room. The invasion of my privacy felt consequential. I could have been asleep, or in the shower, or in the toilet; this all would have been terrible. And I could have been absent in that moment, and the guests entering my room would have been able to take my backpack, my computer, my wallet, my documents. The person at the reception "offered me a glass of champagne" as compensation for his mistake and my discomfiture. The mistake itself strikes me as rather serious. The response from the reception strikes me as rather unserious.

Very pleasant stay at the hotel, the room is lovely and clean. The parking is extremely safe and secure. The service by a man named Christof was excellent. Our only issue was the TV not working properly, but overall we had a great stay.

The hotel has a very convenient location near the train station and close to the city center.|Our room was fine, quite small though.|From this point of view not that comfortable.|The breakfast was fine and the service very good. We did not use the wellness center so I can’t say anything about it.|Not a bad experience…
