We stayed 2 nights in 2 rooms with family on a 10 day visit to Switzerland. This hotel was amazing! Beds were comfortable, rooms clean, and there was tea and coffee in the rooms. ||The restaurant was wonderful! We ate breakfast and dinner there both days and everything they served was delicious! The breakfast buffet was a large variety and plenty. The view from the dining area overlooks the mountains! |The staff of the hotel was helpful and accommodating. I’d go back in a heartbeat

Our family absolutely loved this hotel and its restaurant! The hospitality was truly exceptional—we felt warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. When our daughter left behind her beloved sleep stuffie and we couldn’t return for it, Anna was incredible. She located it for us and kindly arranged to have it mailed to our next hotel. We’ve visited Switzerland three times and spent over six weeks exploring the country, and Saint Georges stands out as one of our all-time favorite places to stay.

We stayed 4 nights staying at the hotel over the Gruyeres cheese festival weekend. We had a fabulous stay, a very comfortable room overlooking the village square and although there was some early morning noise we knew to expect this and it did not spoil our enjoyment. We ate in the hotel restaurant every evening of our stay and found all the food to be delicious, especially the fondue! Good selection of local wine. The breakfast offer was wide-ranging including cold meats and cheeses and gorgeous pastries. |All the staff were courteous, helpful and very friendly with special mention to Anna, Matthieu, Alex, Hichem, Antonio and Merve. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

We stayed at Le Saint Georges for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day to celebrate my birthday and it was absolutely magical. We were able to visit the Christmas market on December 23 and it was a lovely way to meet the locals. Manager Anna Mannone went above and beyond to make our stay easy, warm and comfortable. The rooms were clean, and the restaurant was convenient especially for breakfast. We visited the medieval castle and the H. R. Geiger museum and bar which was so fun. We were lucky enough to get snowfall that made the fairytale setting that much more wonderous. We are hoping to visit during the spring to see different scenery, but we will definitely be back!

My wife and I had a wonderful time staying at Le Saint Georges. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the old town, which is full of charm and history. We loved wandering the cobblestone streets around the château and taking in the beautiful views—plus, seeing cows and other animals nearby gave the whole experience an authentic Swiss countryside feel.||The hotel was cozy, comfortable, and made a perfect home base for exploring the region. It’s ideally situated for visiting local attractions like the Gruyère cheese factory and the Cailler chocolate factory—both must-dos.||While in town, you absolutely have to try the fondue—a delicious and classic experience—and don’t miss a visit to the surreal and unforgettable H.R. Giger Bar, just steps from the hotel.||All in all, Le Saint Georges helped make our trip truly special. We’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

A wonderful hotel in a spectacular location. Our deluxe mountain view room was very cosy and offered a breathtaking view. We had an excellent dinner and breakfast was perfect with lots of home baked bread and pastries. Special mention to the staff who were so welcoming, helpful, friendly and efficient - 10/10 for the staff - they make this hotel.

This is a well located hotel in the middle of Gruyeres . Keep in mind the hotel is historic and the rooms are rather small but have fantastic views of the countryside. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Parking and arrival is challenging. Try to park in lot #1 since it is right outside the town. However, there is an Easypark kiosk but I could never get the gps to recognize our location. I opted for a permit from the hotel for two nights at $10 SF per night. For some reason I was given two separate permits one for each night. On the second night I was given a parking ticket even though I had both permits displayed on the dash of the vehicle. I gave the ticket to the receptionist at the hotel and she later copied an email she sent to the police pointing out the error. I have not heard back if this took care of the citation yet. Beware that the police are quick to hand out citations for any slight infraction including traffic tickets for speed or other things. The Main Street of the city is cobble stones and is very difficult to bring your luggage to the room. However, between 08:30 to 10:30 you can drive in to pick your luggage. We ate in the restaurant both nights and it was very good. We did think the $29 SF per person was high for the breakfast we received. In retrospect we feel we should have stayed elsewhere and did a day trip here. On the other had the hotel staff and restaurant staff were very helpful informative.

This is a wonderful hotel in a breathtaking location. We had a Deluxe Mountain View room The view is incredible, the bed superb and the room is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Dinner and breakfast in the veranda area were excellent. The staff are highly efficient, super helpful and warm and friendly.
