Le Saint-Paul (Saint Paul de Vence, French Riviera / Provence) 1 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"There's more to the Côte D'Azur than the opulent casino hotels of Monte Carlo and the grand palaces of Cannes — and Le Saint-Paul is a perfect example of the alternative. The walled town of Saint Paul de Vence is just 15 kilometers from Nice airport, midway between Cannes and Monaco, but seems to belong to a different world, with its narrow streets, centuries-old fortifications, and its spectacular vistas over the valley and the Mediterranean beyond." - Tablet Hotels

Choosing this hotel in Nice was the best decision. The location is perfect, just 5 minutes to the city center by car, or 10 minutes with the Lime bikes right next door. The natural beach in front of the hotel was exactly what I wanted: swimming with the locals and jumping from the rocks, without the noise of beach clubs. Rooms were spotless and comfortable with excellent A/C, fresh towels daily, and beautiful sea views. Breakfast was simple but fresh, with great bread and cheeses; though it would be even better if served until 11. Staff were friendly, elevators quick, and the overall atmosphere calm and authentic. The only downside was the slow WiFi, get an Orange eSIM instead of relying on AT&T. Otherwise, this hotel was exactly what we hoped for. Highly recommended!

I stayed here for several nights and had a mixed experience. I really liked the location of the hotel - a bit away from the busy parts of Old Town but a beautiful walk along the water to get there. I enjoy walking so enjoyed this. I believe this is also a bus you can g take into town. There is a beautiful beach right across from the property. The beds are also very comfortable. Unfortunately this hotel has horrible installation between the rooms and windows to the outside and you hear everything from moving furniture, slamming doors (all through the night that shake the room), conversations from the neighboring rooms. It was not a relaxing or peaceful sleep being continually woken up. Also, after my room was cleaned there were always black hairs on the bedding. It was very gross and happened everytime after it was ‘cleaned’. Overall this stay fell well below expectations.

A lovely clean and beautifully located hotel with fabulous staff and dining completely ruined by the mechanised demolition of building foundations at the base of the building during renovation work next door. The relentless hammering shaking through the entire hotel is horrific, I have never experienced anything so awful. We came here, away from the main town to relax and if the hotel had pre warned us of this we would have cancelled and booked elsewhere.

Man, I loved this hotel. Stayed here with my daughter for 3 nights and we came after we returned from Italy. All staff is wonderful and pleasant, hotel is Ina perfect location away from all the madness but close to everything too. Breakfast was good, not great but good enough, dinner sells out quick, you have to make a reservation though. As a hotel guest you should be able to always have a seat in a restaurant. How about the bar? Why don’t you guys find away to have a bar open or maybe even outside on the terrace. We went across the street every night to that roof top bar. Either way. We will be back next year with my entire family.

We stayed four nights at Hotel Le Saint Paul between August 17 and 21. Our experience could not have been better. The staff were excellent, always attentive and welcoming. The location is also a great advantage, with many restaurants nearby and easy access to Monaco and other parts of the Côte d’Azur.

Google
beautiful hotel really friendly staff would highly recommend for that but you definitely need to be prepared to walk. there are buses and you can always get a taxi but it's a 2km walk to the city. if you get over that you basically walk out of the hotel and there is a lovely spot for a swim and it's away from the loud centre and has stunning views of Nice

Stolen clothing item, my pants! Brought up issue to front desk and they challenged me about why housekeeping would steal a pair of pants. (IMO stealing a simple useful item does make sense...only once years ago tennis shoes were stolen from my room in Paris). Wore the pants all day Monday and hung up at night. We were in Monaco all day Tuesday and they were not there upon our return. Only brought 5 outfits total with me, so I know I did not misplace anywhere. Disappointed they would not make amends in any way (really needed the pants) AND manager never got back to me. Otherwise, the location was perfect, room small but clean, with lovely ocean view. Breakfast in morning had nice selection.

This hotel is fantastic, a great location just across the street from a small beach, the sea views from our room were stunning and similarly on the breakfast terrace. Very welcoming and attentive staff. Great parking area if you have a car, easily walkable to Port Lympia or there’s Lime electric bikes to rent scattered all around Nice. We would happily stay here again.
