Le Saint Regis

We were at a hotel in Montmartre and made a reservation here although in October it wasn’t busy and we were quickly seated at a good table. I am a pescatarian and I ordered the salmon and it was very good. The sauce is on the side so you can choose how much to use. The filet was perfectly cooked. We shared profiteroles for dessert and that was a treat also. The staff is very friendly and speak English.

We had a very comfortable meal at this restaurant. The snails are not big but very rich and tasty. The menu is a good deal, too. I like their presentation. The owner is very friendly and attentive. We will come again if we visit Paris next time.

Great experience for dinner on a Thursday night in October with Beshou as our server. Food was good. Customer service was great highly recommend the snails great experience thank you.

I really recomend this place. Excelent friendly waiters, they speak good english, quiet atmosphere, good food for normal price. Really happy to find this place, sadly on our last day of visit, otherwise we would eat there everyday. 😊 next time we go to Paris, this is our place.

Was lovely sitting outside having cheese and wine. Also had a creme brûlée which was gorgeous. The staff were really friendly, and made good conversation. The bathroom was clean and tidy. Unfortunately their card machine wasn’t working but there was an ATM round the corner so not a problem. Very happy would recommend.

We had some food and drinks here it's a few streets down from the Sacré-Cœur. It's beside an Italian restaurant and if you don't fancy anything on the Le Saint Regis menu they will get Italian menu for you. The food was good and the staff are friendly. The prices are reasonable.

Food is beyond my expectation. Dining in here is worth it!! Experience french cuisine with reasonable price. We will definitely come back. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

I enjoyed eating at this place. The outdoor seating was perfect for the nice weather with our 2 little kids. The restaurant had also nice location. The food was amazing. My favorites were the French Onion soup and Escargot. The server was nice and friendly. I recommend this place.

I visited Le Saint Regis last month in July. I had great service from our server, she was very attentive. There was even a guy playing music and singing. It is a great neighborhood to sit on the patio and watch the foot traffic go by. for food, i got the escargot as an appetizer. it was phenomenal! I also got the beef tartare which was pretty good but not anything over the top. It had a lot more horseradish than I was expecting. The fry's the came with it were cooked good too. When it came time to pay, I was in a hurry to catch a tour down the street. I went inside to pay and they informed me that their machine was down. "Ok, so what do i do?", "Oh just go down the street and there's and ATM" after walking for 15 minutes I figured out he forgot to mention the two turns you have to make...This was a little upsetting. They should have just comped the meal.. Anyways, that is probably out of the ordinary. I would still go back.

Came for brunch before visiting Cathédrale Notre-Dame. We had the French toast and chicken ceasar salad. Also had a cup of hot chocolate to sip on afterwards.

Thin, dry, burnt chicken that is barely thicker than lunch meat 1/10 Salty duck but good potatoes 2/10 Cheese and charcuterie board was esoteric. 1/10 Baguette and butter was good but nothing special. 6/10 Molten lava cake was decent 7/10. Spent 80 euros on very overpriced and subpar food. Better off getting fast food at a chain like McDonald's.

Great food. Excellent service. Highly recommend the Duck Confit! Bread is excellent and red wine is very good. We really enjoyed our dinner here after doing all the stairs up to the church. Excellent service and very nice people. Would have been 5 stars but the salmon was a bit overcooked. Might be a France thing since we are from US Pacific NW and we cook to barely flaky! Overall great experience

I've run into a few food factory tourist traps on this visit to Paris. This place is what French restaurants should be. The food was fantastic and not overpriced and the service was on point. One wanted to linger for a couple of hours and enjoy the meal and experience. The streets are amazing in Mont Mart so the sitting outside on the street is the way to go. To me, dinner is one of the best parts of France and finding a reasonably priced restaurant that hasn't turned into a tourist trap is mission critical. Thanks for the great dinner.

The restaurant is small, but well organized. It has indoor and outdoor seating as well as a bathroom for customers. Our server was very patient with our language barrier. I chose a 3-course lunch for about 20 euros. The food was pretty good and beautifully plated! My favorite was the creme brulee... the custard was so silky and the caramelized sugar on top was well done. However, the entree had smaller (than expected) portions and the steak was overcooked. It was pretty flavorful though. Would recommend if you're looking for a reasonably priced meal by the Sacré-Coeur Basilica! 4.5/5

Other reviewers have it right. I'll just add: super location, great people watching, fabulous food. Enjoyed the goat cheese salad, cheese plate and club sandwich with a carafe of Chablis. The popular Berthillon ice cream shop is next door.

As visitors to Paris, we were just looking for a place to eat before heading up to Sacre Coeur. We headed up the small street, and figured that it looked OK enough. We were seated outside on the sidewalk which was nice, but there was construction going on in a building across the street, so the ambience was not exquisite. We did the Plat du Jour, since it was a decent value. The server was very good, and the food was passable. We noticed a suspicious fellow camped out nearby who wandered back and forth on the sidewalk, never very far from the front of the restaurant. After a while, I motioned for the waiter to come over. I asked him if he knew that man. He said he had noticed too, and perhaps that man was waiting for someone, but he would keep an eye out also. Shortly afterwards the man wandered off down the street, never to be seen again. Coincidence? Anyway, C'est la vie.

I really liked this place. The staff are super friendly and attentive. I ordered the formule with the goat cheese salad, pork and a crème brûlée. The salad was awesome as was the pork. The crème brulee wasn't amazing but it was solid. I would definitely come here again.

Our favorite little French restaurant while we were in Paris. Despite what you hear about rude French people, the staff were incredibly friendly and very accommodating. Top notch, can't wait til my next visit to Paris so I can eat here again

Delightful service which could in no way make up for the truly terrible food. Worst onion soup I've ever had, in any country. The frogs legs, pitifully (or perhaps mercifully) few, had zero seasoning and tasted like cardboard. Even a plate of grilled vegetables was beyond the seasoning skills of the kitchen. Avoid!

Nice quiet place to eat near Montmartre. Good pizza and passable red picket. Away from the crowd which was nice. Extensive menu.

Please be careful! My friend came in to go to the bathroom while her husband waited outside looking at menus. When she left the bathroom, a waiter demanded 2 Euros. My friend said "ok" and told him she did not have her phone on her & no pockets for money, but she will call for her husband to come in and give him the money, no problem. The waiter stood in front of her in a threatening manner, blocking her and would not let her leave the restaurant! He even told her to leave her watch with him! She asked the waiter if she could go get her husband or call the police and he told her to "scream" if she wanted to have help. She felt scared & threatened so she did as he asked, she screamed for her husband and he came running. As she screamed, the waiter took HIS HANDS AND SHOVED HER away from the door!!!! Blocking her from leaving and PHYSICALLY assaulting her!!!!!! It turned into a mess of yelling and screaming until she was crying, shaking uncontrollably with the manager apologizing. She just sent me this photo of the man who pushed her. DO NOT go here... I beg you.

Great service, great food. The crepe was amazing, but a bit to sweet. The duck confit was good and it's fries were better than most places. The wine was Ok. The menu was well priced. The pasta was excellent. Overall, I am glad I came.

Had lunch here on a busy Sunday and we all enjoyed our meals. Service was very pleasant and spoke English too. Menus are available in several languages actually. It's located in a quiet area so we could eat in peace outside. Food was well prepared and seasoned nicely with good portions. It was a pleasant meal on our Sunday excursion. Recommend!

Avoid. Nine out of ten cafes serve the frites that make France famous. Not this place. Very low value food imho.

A lovely restaurant with fun, charming staff. We had lovely starters - goats cheese salad, moules in garlic butter & salmon tartare followed by mains - salmon and 2 perfectly done steaks and finished with beautiful creme brulees. These delish dishes were accompanied by a fine cote du rhone. Would definitely recommend!

This was the only place open on Wednesday at 23, so we had a try. Staff could speak English well and the food wasn't expensive. The decoration though was very crummy and the fresh salad was anything but fresh, but it didn't taste bad. I ate beef stake and it was very delicious, but we had to wait very long despite being the only customers at the time. My friend had a fish and he said it was the worst fish he had ever eaten... Then it was time for desserts. I ordered apple tart, but two dishes later they noticed that they didn't have it, so I had to settle for some white cheese with suspicious black almonds... And my friends weren't satisfied with their tiramisus either. Wine was good, but from a different price level than other goods while everything else was cheap but the wine. So food was cheap, but if you order fish it is not even worth that much.

Really poor food, ordered the streak, cooked medium, came out well done and with no seasoning, chips/fries were frozen and the beans were not fresh, neither was the bread they brought out. Avoid at all costs!!!

Traveling with a huge group and we were incredibly impressed how accommodating they were!!! John was a joy and worked with our group to feel at home!!! Great service - great location. Thanks for a memorable afternoon.

We visited the restaurant on Friday August 14, 2015 and enjoyed a 3 dish special. Great value and great service. One of the waiters spoke very good English and took good care of us (party of five). Can't wait to come back.

Oh I WISH my cell phone was working so I could have yelped this place before going in, but alas, I had no service and we were caught in a downpour so bad decisions were made. There is nothing especially terrible about the food, but it was just ok. I think if I wasn't soaking wet and starving, I probably would not have eaten it though. Meh food, meh service. Find somewhere else to eat.

Letdown. What a letdown. This place looks good, sounds good, and is across the street from the best meal I've had in Paris. But no. It's not. The service is terrible. The waiters are rude and gaze off into the distance while you order. At the end of our forgettable meal, when we tried to pay with card he said,"Oh no no card" but we didnt have enough notes . So he said give me the card. It turns out he gave us the wrong bill and we could've paid with card. Terrible. On the menu they say pasta with cream sauce. Well unless cream means tomato in French, they should rewrite their menu. Dining outside is smoky and eating inside is like having dinner in an oven. I will say, though, that the pizza was pretty good, but not exceptional. A terrible experience overall mixed with the stress of almost not having enough money to pay. This place needs to get its act together.

If there were only zero or even negative stars... Terrible food. Terrible service. We would not have gone had we looked up yelp reviews first. My husband is terribly disappointed in French food after dining here:(
