Dark. Is what i remember of it. Too many black colours. The reception is fine and relaxed. Not super but ok. The helpers to get your car parked and help your luggages seem to have the most understanding on how to treat guests well; they always welcome the guests and are always ready. This is 5 star, so it needs to be perfect. The elevators are a bit dirty. The hallway to the rooms are rather dark. The entry in the room is so dark you need a flashlight. About lights,.. the light system is terrible. On/Off is it pushing up or down, it behaves in annoying difficulty. Great we could fit a small bit in our superior room, still the room was cramped then though. Minibar, rather basic. Garbage bin, is there a smaller bin available? Curtains, crap. If i want dark, then it is at night. The curtain is not fully darkening. It is in fact wrongly placed and the way it is put can never shut out daylight decently. Hotel lacked a pool, so we didn’t check out the spa area. A welcome drink is offered, but is time constrained, not possible after 5pm, so no drink for you. Like they don’t have a fridge to store cava or whatever to pour a drink after 5pm. Parking, is all the way behind the hotel on a hill. One electric charger available. Thankfully the personnel can take care of it. Idle fees apply..Wine cellar is available, unclear the point of it, not advertised. An underground connection is available to connect the Brusserie with the hotel, useful. Gym, 3 machines. Probably the smallest gym i have seen. You can subscribe to the “gym” for 20eu per month. Imagine. Down below are art galleries. Breakfast, maybe the highlight if any. Very nice flavours all over. From fresh honey, chocolate, croissants to waffles and real fresh juice without added water. Great coffee as well. Crowded though even till the last moment. Pushed to eat not, you can take your time. Aside of the breakfast thus not terribly impressive this hotel. We stayed in August…
