Le Scandale

I really liked this place. I went here every morning I was in Krakow for breakfast and coffee. One of the best cappuccinos I’ve had in Europe in a while. Their scrambled eggs breakfast was basic but it was tasty. They also didn’t mind that I sat there for several hours working with my laptop. Great place for digital nomads. Definitely recommend!

The staff are so lovely here, I didn't enjoy my cocktail and first and they instantly fixed it for free without me even complaining and inside looks so cute and the bathrooms are so clean and pretty I absolutely loved this place

I had delicious grilled fish with chips there. Fish soup as well but almost no fish or squid or shrimp inside, only vegetables. But at least fish was excellent. Thank you Place was nice, just the staff was shouting and laughing at each other very loudly all the time. I recommend to check out toilets, it’s very beautiful 🤩 so many mirrors inside and outside, I love it. I even got lost while searching for it 🤣😅

We stayed there for maybe half an hour. The waitress assumed we were drunk enough to not notice that she charged us for twice the amount of drinks we had. When confronted, she made it seem like it was a mistake but still not cool.

Awful service. Child accidentally spilt drink, we cleaned it up whilst waiting staff stood and laughed. Then had audacity to charge us £20 for cleaning. We refused cleaned it up ourselves, avoid at all costs.

Had a rather unpleasant lunch at Le Scandale. Ordered pizza, Cezar salad and a couple of cocktails. The pizza was tasteless, poor dough, poor quality sauce and meat. Chicken was extremely dry in the salad, bacon overcooked, the salad itself was not very fresh and poorly washed (you can taste the “sand” while chewing it), the dressing is also not tasty at all. Cocktails, as well as food, are clearly overpriced. Terrible dinner for not the cheap price. Apart from that, people are smoking right around you and some weird drunks are bothering you while you’re trying to eat. Stuff was nowhere to be seen.

Food was fantastic in this place , service was good and quick . Very reasonably priced .

The food was excellent, and the ambiance of the place was pleasant. However, the service was a letdown, especially considering it was included in the bill. We found ourselves waiting by a dirty table, witnessing a waitress serving water to a dog and delivering drinks to other guests without acknowledging our presence. When she finally cleared the dirty dishes from the previous guests, she neglected to clean the table properly, merely placing menus on top of the remaining dirt and grease. Politely requesting her to clean the table resulted in an unfriendly response, and she begrudgingly cleaned it, allowing us to finally sit. Later on, there was a mix-up with our drinks, requiring a change. Fortunately, a different, friendlier lady handled the situation. Despite the outstanding food, the overall poor service was a significant drawback, leaving me puzzled as to how they could justify charging for a service that was subpar. Hopefully, this review serves as constructive feedback, encouraging staff to improve their attitude and service quality.
