Le Sen Boutique Hotel

There are so many wonderful things about this boutique hotel.| Most importantly are the staff. My partner is coeliac and that can make things really tricky when travelling in Asia. They took the upmost care of making sure the food was all gluten free, no matter who was serving, things were checked. My partner ate extremely well and the food was delicious. Thanks for the lovely service from Phom, Golf and the rest of the restaurant team, sorry we don’t know everyone’s names. |The hotel also have a free shuttle service to and from the main centre, this was very handy, especially in the heat. All the drivers were excellent! |We got upgraded on arrival and had a beautiful room over looking the pool, which was immaculate.|The management staff truely care that their guest enjoy themselves. |We never tried the spa, but it looked and smelt amazing every time we walked past. Highly recommend this hotel if you enjoy a peaceful place to escape.

I had a wonderful solo trip in Luang Prabang, and staying at this hotel made it even more special. It was my very first time traveling alone, and I was a bit scared about feeling awkward around people—but not here. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming from the start.||The staff were incredibly kind—not just the front desk but every single person I met. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and genuinely cared about making guests feel at home.||Although the hotel is located a bit far from the city center, it was never an issue. They provide a van service for pick-up and drop-off throughout the day, which made exploring the town super convenient. If you prefer to ride around on your own, bicycles are also available to borrow.||I also really enjoyed the afternoon tea and breakfast—both were delicious and added to the overall relaxing vibe of the stay.||Thank you so much for making my first solo journey such a beautiful and stress-free experience. Highly recommended, especially for solo travelers! :-)

A level of hospitality and aesthetics that is unmatched. I can easily say that my stay at Le Sen is probably the most memorable accommodation experience across my time in the region! From their overall professionalism and responsiveness to the facilities that are spacious, elegant, serene and include a top notch gym and a gorgeous pool to the remarkable breakfast both in terms of choice and quality of products (I note the home grown garden vegetables). I think by far it was the staff. The cute treats in the room, the helpfulness, warmth, kindness and generosity that is representative of Laos itself. Wondering why Le Sen is not 5 stars!

Amazing boutique hotel! The staff are all so friendly, the food and drinks are amazing, the room is beautiful, and it’s still only about 15minutes walking to the center of town. They also have bicycles and a shuttle if you prefer. Couldn’t recommend this place more! It’s so cute and nice without feeling stuffy or like it’s catering to a specific type of visitor. I love it!

Every journey tells a story, and Le Sen Boutique Hotel was truly a highlight of my trip to Luang Prabang. It’s a small and charming hotel with around 15 rooms, each thoughtfully designed in a minimalist Lao style. Every detail – from the interior décor to the lush little garden – creates a calm, cozy, and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel is incredibly peaceful and feels like a home away from home. I was especially impressed by the warm and genuine hospitality of the staff – attentive, kind, and always making sure you’re comfortable. 💚 The biggest highlight was the food! Everything is 100% housemade using fresh ingredients sourced directly from the hotel’s own farm. Afternoon tea, homemade pastries, and dishes from the à la carte menu were all delicious and beautifully presented. 📍 Perfect location – just a short walk from the night market, temples, and the dreamy Mekong riverside. It’s ideal for those who want to explore the local culture at a slow and peaceful pace. 👉 If you’re looking for a serene, well-designed place with authentic charm in Luang Prabang, I highly recommend Le Sen Boutique. I’ll definitely return!

This is a boutique hotel that actually deserves to utilize the word boutique in its name. Just WOW! The grounds are beautifully kept, the pool is refreshing, the staff is friendly and well trained and always anticipating your needs (special shout out to Phon, Pepsi, and Kop!). We had a suite and were in love from the moment we walked in, all the modern amenities but with beautiful traditional touches (dark wood details, beautiful flooring, a great balcony overlooking the pool,etc). The location is a bit removed from the center of town but we like walking (15min or so and totally comfortable and safe early mornings and evenings) but we also utilized the free shuttle service when it was too hot or raining. They even lent us umbrellas for the rain! We had breakfast at the hotel (not a common thing we do) for all 4 days we were there and enjoyed it every time. LeSen is a gem and I hope they continue to proudly maintain their property and keep their wonderful staff. I hope we make it back one day but if not, this will always be a highlight during our 5 week Southeast Asia journey.

I would love to say thank you for Le sen Boutique hotel team this is a wonderful hotel, lovely pool nice staff and friendly the service is great and room assignments is very nice. In terms of location, the hotel excellent base from which to explore all of LPB surrounding areas. I really loved my stay here.

We stayed here for my birthday to treat us with something special. But this place is far more than special. They created a home for us. It was truly one of the best places I ever stayed in my life! The stuff is extremly friendly and helpful. They offer free bicycles and shuttle (+pick up) for free to the center. The breakfast was a highlight also after 5 nights. This is the place were you can find true luxury and authentic kindness from Lao people. Vard from the reception helped us in so many ways. Organised our train trip to the capital, flowers for my birthday, car to the waterfall. He felt like a true friend. I truly miss this place and I will tell it to everybody potentially visit Laos.
