We feel lucky that we could spend 6 days at Shambala Lodge, enjoying wonderful garden around us, the slow mornings with on-site breakfast and Pierre 's hospitality. He is very attentive to details what we could see all around us as well - the whole place is prepared with tiny beautiful details: we appreciated the filtered water available on site, the kitchen equipped with everything you need, comfortable sofa, nice common places, perfect breakfasts! We were offered some local rum to taste and I could list 20 other nice things which we liked and appreciated. There is a pool at the property with all the comfort you need. We highly recommend this place - great value for money!

We spent two nights here and really enjoyed the atmosphere of the place. The bungalows are semi- in/outdoors which offered quite the unique experience. Pierre was a friendly and amusing host who made lovely little breakfasts in the mornings. He also helped us plan the next leg of our stay on the island. Overall, I recommend this place if you are looking for a reasonably priced and quaint stay on the eastern side of Guadeloupe.

My partner and I stayed at Shambala for 5 days and loved it! The bungalow was very clean, the bed was super comfortable, it was very quiet. Breakfast was delicious (we're really missing the pain de chocolat!). The pool is lovely (as is the whole property) and there is a beautiful hiking trail along cliffs overlooking the ocean right behind the property. Pierre is a wonderful host. We definitely recommend Shambala Lodge for your stay in Guadeloupe!

Small lodge in a beautifully laid out tropical garden. The cabins are lovely, with outdoor kitchen and bathroom, and a spacious bedroom. Simple but tasty breakfast included. Plus a refreshing swimming pool to relax in after your island explorations. Do not that you’ll need a car - but you’ll need one anyway to explore the islands. Saint Francois - with some lovely restaurants - just 15 minutes away. Thanks to Pierre for being such an excellent host!

We loved our last few days in Guadeloupe, mostly because of our stay at Shambala Lodge. Such a beautiful and peaceful place to spend time. The villas are very comfortable and relaxing and the breakfasts are great. Pierre is the perfect host - friendly and helpful. Do visit if you can. We will definitely be back

We stayed in Guadeloupe for 10 days, and our 3 night stay at Shambala was our favorite part. Next time, we will book for longer. The owners have created a perfectly-sized little hotel atmosphere with 5 bungalows that are all very private. We loved cooking dinner at night in the outdoor kitchen and enjoying our morning coffee on the bungalow deck set among tropical gardens. The pool is a lovely addition to the property, as is the little massage hut. Overall, this is a place of true peace and tranquility with owners that are mostly hands-off unless you need something. We hope to return one day - thank you Deborah & Pierre!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Shambala Lodge. We stayed here at the end of our trip, and it was such a nice way to end our time in Guadeloupe. Pierre was so helpful and welcoming. The lodge is really beautiful, the bungalows are really nice and comfortable, and the breakfast each morning was delicious. I would love to stay here again whenever I come back to Guadeloupe!
