Big, airy & comfortable however could be cleaner and the tea, coffee or water was not replaced. No shower in the bathroom only a bath. Breakfast wasn’t great. On our 1st morning there was very little hot food left and what was there was cold. The 2nd breakfast on Sunday morning was better. Dinner on Friday was nice. There was a function on the Thursday night with loud music until the early hours and also on Friday I could hear music & found it difficult to sleep. The spa was very nice however closes at lunchtime and because our spa treatment was just before lunch, there was a bit of an argument about the 2 hours complimentary use of the spa for the afternoon. We were told we should have used it in the morning before the treatment. This was not explained however the issue was resolved. All in all not 4 star standard, maybe 3 at best. The hotel building itself was lovely.

Very dated rooms, dirty carpet and curtains have seen better days, it may have been a 4* Hotel once upon a time, however I'm this century... Its far from it. The paintings on the walls also tell the story of a different era... I am trying to highlight the nicer things so here it goes, they do have a sauna and a gym and there are plentyful shops nearby.

We spent 5 days here, the hotel is absolutely beautiful, but there was just a few things that let it down, like no car park, you have to drive a couple of streets down to an underground car park, that cost 12 euros a day, be quick to book for the restaurant, as it gets fully booked, also with regards to the spa, even if you are just using the pool, it has to be booked and charged. 1st time we had this in a spa hotel., Other that that all the staff were very friendly .When we went was also the Carrera festival.

Simply lovely as max Verstappen would say would say. |The entries were great and the main plates too. But what stands out the most are the desserts, it’s fresh and delicious.|I will come back|The only thing missing would be a napkin because it would be way more comfortable

Impressive hall, restaurant and rooms, kind and helpful staff, great value for money, very good breakfast. The lady in the reception was extremely charming, speaking in Spanish and willing to accommodate our wishes. Extremely recommendable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely 4*. The spa is magnificent, the rooms are very spacious, The breakfast is plentiful, the staff very friendly at the front desk as well as the bar or the restaurant (spécial mention to Sophie the cheffe de rang!)

Lovely old style hotel with amazing views over the city. Huge lobby and beautiful decor throughout including corridors and rooms. The downsides were that the plumbing was very noisy even late at night and there was no car park (which is expected for a 4* hotel). They told me to go find a city car park. Apart from this, a wonderful place to stay.

Stayed here for a night on the journey north in the fascinating city of Dax. The building was rebuild in art deco style in 1929 and is a beautiful example. |Our bedroom was very spacious with a large entrance hall and bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and the view excellent. |An evening drink on the terrace was most relaxing. We kept expecting Hercule Poirot to come out of a corner.|Well worth the trip.
