This was my favorite place that I stayed during a recent 2 week plus European holiday. It is centrally located in the historic city center of Ferrara yet very quiet and peaceful. My room was cozy and perfect for my needs as a solo traveler with a nice veranda and wonderful shower. Breakfast was delicious and Pietro the host was very accommodating to each guest's dietary choices. He is extremely helpful and kind as well as entertaining and wise! This is what a B&B should be and I would definitely return.

Le Stanze di Torcicoda is a fantastic B&B on so many levels. Pietro is a fabulous host - welcoming, caring and helpful. This family run B&B is full of ambiance, and for a 700 year old house is well appointed, with modern conveniences, yet retains the old world charm. It is close to everything and in a great location with sights, restaurants and museums within walking distance. Pietro takes so much care to ensure your stay is everything you want it to be. One of the great things about Ferrara is the 9 kms of city walls which can be toured by bicycle and Pietro provides bikes for guests. Cycling the very intact city walls was one of our highlights in Ferrara! Pietro knows the restaurants in town, so follow his excellent recommendations. We loved Ferrara and look forward to a return stay in this sweet B&B.

This charmingly decorated B and B is a treasure. Your host Pietro is a delight, warm, intelligent, and outgoing, but, best of all, a fantastic cook! Not only does he make some amazing bread and cakes; he is really willing to go out of his way to make sure you enjoy your breakfast exactly as you like. The location is great, just off Via Vittoria, itself off of via Mazzini. An easy walk from the Duomo. But beware the google map on booking.com! It is wrong. I have visited Ferrara often, but until now have not found a B and B or hotel to which I wanted to return. In the future, I will definitely stay here!

I was able to travel a fair bit this summer, and this small B and B in Ferrara stands out as the best accommodation of the summer. Pietro was a fantastic host, and the place was charming and wonderfully located. It’s small, but that’s part of its charm. Great breakfast too. A great find in a lovely town.

This place is just perfect. Hidden but central. With only four rooms it offers a very cosy atmosphere. The room we stayed in was just lovely. The host Pietro is extremely friendly and comforting and provided us with all the information we could possibly get. The breakfast is breathtaking with homemade bread and cakes as well as local products. We really regret we just could stay for one night but will definitely come back. It really is an insider's tip. Thank you so much Pietro!!

Loved my stay! A 700 year old property with modern conveniences! It was a very authentic experience. It has plenty of charm, great location, delightful hosts, and delicious homemade plentiful breakfast served each morning till 10:30. Around the corner is a delicious restaurant that Pietro will tell you about. It's a special find indeed!! Grazie mille.

I try to leave an honest account of the places that I stay and list the pros and cons.|This b&b is perfect for a stay and has a city centre location with a difference. I always sleep with my window open and even with the French window open wide there is no sound. The Stanza Torcicoda is in the old Jewish Ghetto which consists of a warren of narrow streets and is extremely atmospheric.|The host Pietro makes you feel like his best friend. He is charming and full of information which he shares willingly. Breakfast is different each day and everything is homemade.|I would recommend this b/b without reservation.

Yelp
This B&B is in the historic old Jewish ghetto so viewers must consider close quarters here--that said, my hb and I certainly enjoyed a very peaceful stay here. We stayed in rm four at the very top and though the room is small the bright sunny room with access to a charming patio that over looks the narrow, airy and quiet alleyway (front door access) where automobiles are prohibited....history of Ferrara brings you here: medieval narrow and twisted alley way -
