One of the best places I’ve eaten in Paris. Kind of a hole in the wall experience, but man are the staff super nice and the strudel is down right amazing! One of the best experiences I’ve had in Paris, especially after days of indifferent and aloof restaurant staff. It felt like a breath of fresh air eating here.

Had their basque cheesecake to take away, and it was absolutely amazing! It was so soft and not too sweet. Gentleman behind the counter was so attentive and spoke great english.

We had a late lunch in this nice hidden spot on our first day in Paris. Despite the fact that it was past the regular lunch hour, we were greeted with a smile, promptly seated, and offered great options to try. We loved everything that we ordered including the Brooklyn hot dog with lentil salad and the homemade dessert - really delicious taste of Germany. However, what we liked the most was the warm attentive service of its owners. We highly recommend this little hidden gem!

Lovely and cheap German food. I had the hotdog and it came with a full serve of salad alongside. The waiter spoke English and was very nice, greatly recommend!

First time in Paris in end of July! This is a perfect place to dine when raining outside, I think all who comes really feels the pleasant, warm and attentive service of the owner. I like soooo much the quiche with comté cheese and leek, the lentils salad and roast pork. I really wanted to try sauerkraut, may be next time!

We really wanted to try German food in Paris which lead us to this awesome place. The food was really good, the schnitzel with the potatoes was just so good and tasteful as well as the potatoe salad and the Kassler. The staff was really friendly and smiling. Danke schön

Yelp
Wow! This place was incredible. The Franco-German food was delicious and the service was even better. We had the Cesar Sandwich, Bratwurst, salads, desserts, and their coffee. EVERYTHING was delicious. The bread was warm, and soft, and you could tell it was just freshly made. They even whip their own cream. Just Amazing! Can't give enough credit on their service too. They had no more whipped cream, and noticed we were sad about it and went to buy some for us. Besides that, every employee greeted us and treated us incredibly nice. The ambiance was really nice. Small, yet wonderful location, with enough room to serve my party of 5, immediately, and had plenty other customers enjoying the food. If I could give more then 5 stars I would.

Yelp
B and I have been talking about trying desserts in Paris. I am big on desserts. So we stumbled into Le Stube. Then we found out that this place specializes in German pastries and cakes. B got a double espresso and the Sachertorte and I got the lemon meringue tart. My lemon meringue tart was delicious. B liked his sachertorte. Food wise would be 4 stars. So you ask why 2 stars. When the server bought the double espresso she spilled it allover the floor and B's white shirt. Coffee stains are super hard to remove. It was early in the day and B was left with a dirty shirt. She gave 5 euro off our food but she also got the coffee on my pants and shoe as well. Luckily my shoe is black and my pants were jeans. So it was not as visible as B's white shirt. She also got it on the guy sitting beside us. The carelessness really took the stars out of everything. It is embarrassing for B to walk around with a stained shirt. It was everywhere. Also the server didn't really know how to react quickly. she did try her best to clean it up quickly. I found it funny how she asked if she got the spill over our cloths. B shirt was obviously stained and can be seen with the naked eyes.

Yelp
Conveniently located close to the Louvre, this cafe was exactly what our family of five needed after soaking in the art. Coffee, tea, salads, sandwiches, tarts and desserts. Lovely service. Our eight year old wants to come back tomorrow for another serving of Fleischstrudel. Tomato and eggplant tart and the beef Pirojkis were also delicious.

Yelp
Quite the German experience. Great food, great drinks & slow service. Don´t think the service is intentionally slow (in comparison to what I experience here in Paris usually) but this is really what the experience in germany is usually like in a restaurant. You can get some interesting non-alcoholic drinks (Bionade, Klub Kola, Club Mate) and some more run of the mill german beers. This really is a Restaurant, not a Pub. What I also liked a lot, that they don´t try to go full "Hofbräuhaus" Kitch stylewise, but are going for a much more modern feeling. This is more Berlin than München. Classic german dishes in a modern environment. Liked the Currywurst and the Desserts are awesome too.

Yelp
Instant German Gratification. Excellent menu; easy to read and make a selection; staff is very accommodating to special requests and substitutions. The "Sauerkraut" plate contained all my favorite German flavors: -Bratwurst w/ 2 sauces on the side -Sauerkraut (of course) -Mashed Potatoes -and Pork roast Incredible. Authentic. Simple.

Yelp
The food was absolutely delicious, and well priced. The restaurant was small but cozy. The location is perfect (near the Louvre). However. I felt that the waitresses were a bit cold and barely interacted with the visitors.

Yelp
This is only regarding desserts. The staff is friendly and the hours are great, but skip the desserts here. The cheesecake was flavorless and the chocolate cake was burned. The coffee was ok, but there are many other places to get dessert in Paris.

Yelp
I haven't had much experience with German food besides stereotypical items like pretzels, beer, sausage, and pastries. But this place truly opened up my tastebuds to it! I ordered the Kassler, aka pork chops with chopped onion pieces, and it also came with mashed potatoes and salad. There was a perfect amount of horseradish sauce for the pork chops, which were cooked to tender perfection. The onions were also nicely seasoned. The place has a nice bakery section that looks like it's filled with more delicious things. The staff are very nice and service is quick! I definitely plan to come back!

Yelp
If you've maxed out your quota of typical French bakeries, try Le Stube for a little variety. Offering more than just freshly baked pastries, Le Stube also has German delicacies including beer and pretzels. I had tea and a multigrain piece of bread that was hearty and straight from the oven. The workers are friendly and will let you work on the Wifi network. I stayed so long that the baker offered me an almond cookie straight off the baking sheet. Definitely coming back here!

Yelp
Really, really liked this place. Marvelous pastries, sandwiches etc. Very nice people and pleasant to have a chance to speak German in the middle of Paris.

Yelp
reasonable variety of German food. pretty good for a change from the local cuisine.
