This is a bit of a Toulousian secret and you can find it in front of the Saint-George’s church in the shade of the trees there. It has a beautiful old fashioned vibe about it, very Belle-Époque, and you will be hard pressed to find many tourists here. Most people come here early in the morning to enjoy an espresso and read the newspaper, and when the sun sets, the wine bottles pop open and it’s officially aperitif time.

Lovely bar with amazing sunny terrace. Staff is friendly but the food is overpriced and mediocre, especially at lunch. We just paid 16EUR each for a single skewer of very dry chicken (plus a mountain of fries) and some very chewy meat (plus a mountain of fries). Would recommend for evening drinks or a sunny coffee, but look elsewhere for food.

Stop by here after visiting the cathedral. I ordered ristretto to wake me up, but the barista was so kind to give me a bonus ristretto 😂 The coffee was very very good 👍🏻 Great to slow down a bit here enjoying breakfast and the view of the cathedral in the morning.

A very pleasant evening with views of the floodlit cathedral. I enjoyed the tapas and the beer. The staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient. There were lots of locals and the atmosphere was very convivial. A very different place, I imagine, from the lunchtime crowd at the height of the tourist season.
