We stayed here before flying home for two nights. The resort is nice, we were upgraded to a beautiful renovated room with a nice view of the beach. The resort offered a free shuttle into town which was a nice extra. Happy hour was offered daily from 5-6pm. They offered a nice buffet spread for breakfast, but we decided to order from the menu instead as we only wanted a small amount. Prices were reasonable. Service staff were friendly, but overall slow for dinner. Nice shops at the resort for last minute shopping.

Stayed for two nights in transit from USA. Accommodating reception who made room available asap after VERY early arrival. Room better than expected, plenty of room, dark wood decoration using local materials. Excellent working whirlpool bath and separate generous shower. Comfortable large bed. Plenty of sunbeams around easy access pool. Minor maintenance issues around the hotel only. Reasonable breakfast and acceptable restaurant offerings. Breakfast menu off-putting suggesting limitations to buffet use. Extensive sandy beach (without sunbeds) access down iron steps. Great spot for sunset drink and views - during happy hour. Efficient check-out.

The resort is fantastic. It has a beautiful swimming pool and a very nice beach. It is a little far from restaurants or shops, so you have to have your meals there. The restaurants are nice but nothing special. All the hotel staff are fantastic, especially Jenny and her restaurant team. Unfortunately Maire is an unfriendly person. She doesn’t meet the standards of the rest of the staff.|The room was excellent. We had a superb stay at the hotel.

They charge for EVERYTHING. They even put a tip on my card for themselves without asking me. When asked, the restaurant lady apologized and asked for refund the money back to me. The ladies at the front desk are very aggressive especially the one without hair line. She was very very aggressive. She has no business working the front desk.I paid for dinner show with buffet but they sat me behind the pillars and I couldn’t even see the show. When I complained, they told me that the people upfront had made their reservation way in advance than me. Towards the end of the show, the moved me to another table by which it was already too late as the show was almost ending. The young man at the front desk was very welcoming. I truly disliked the service at this resort. The Paris lady at the spa was extremely nice and pleasant. The ladies at the boutique were a bit kind. Overall, it would have been a nice stay if they had taken the time to make my stay a bit nice. Do not go here if you are a black American. The women are aggressive towards us for no reason. That’s my observation.

We stayed for one night after a wonderful week at Le Tikihau (also a Pearl resort), before heading back home. The reception staff was really kind. Actually all the staff was. Unfortunately, the hotel is really outdated and in need of maintenance everywhere you look— the bathtub breaking away from the tile with mold in the cracks, the shower faceplate broken off, chipped paint, water damage almost anywhere you look, 100-200 tiles missing from the pool, cloudy looking and cold hot tub. The few updates that look like they have been done more recently— newish flooring in the room, for example— were done with very cheap quality materials and are already breaking down. The restaurant staff was very kind. However, the food was pretty bad. We had a pasta dish that was noodles and canned tomatoes vs tomato paste. No seasoning or cheese. My daughter ordered a steak and it was a hamburger with no bun. Maybe this is a cultural misunderstanding, though. We really wanted to like this hotel but will probably use the Hilton or intercontinental for our next stop over.

My favorite part of the hotel was the black sand beach. It is so unique and pretty. The views from the hotel are stunning are but the rooms and the hallways look very old. I think this hotel requires a renovation and it would be amazing! They have traditional Tahitian dance twice a week which was fun!

This Resort Hotel was absolutely incredible I loved the food the breakfast was delicious and they have a great Marquesian Night show and buffet once a week that you should go to if you're there on the right night. It also has a black sand beach and I loved listening to the waves at night time that put me to sleep.

It's very secluded, so not a lot of options nearby, but they do offer a free shuttle to downtown which was nice. The rooms were a bit worn, stained carpet, the outside buildings needed love, but the restaurant is well done, good food, amazing entertainment, nice pool and right on the beach. It's black sand on that side of the island.
