"Located on a gorgeous, very private stretch of black-sand beach, Tahiti Pearl Beach Resort offers affordable, modern rooms, many of which feature spacious layouts, private Jacuzzis, and ocean views. Guests can also look forward a massive infinity pool, a luxurious spa, and meticulously maintained grounds, complete with fresh flowers and lush grass. The onsite Hita Mahana Restaurant and Bay Bar are outdoors but covered, offering sweeping views of the sunset across the ocean to Moorea. Note: This resort is very close to the airport so it’s ideal for those arriving late at night or leaving early in the morning."

We stayed here before flying home for two nights. The resort is nice, we were upgraded to a beautiful renovated room with a nice view of the beach. The resort offered a free shuttle into town which was a nice extra. Happy hour was offered daily from 5-6pm. They offered a nice buffet spread for breakfast, but we decided to order from the menu instead as we only wanted a small amount. Prices were reasonable. Service staff were friendly, but overall slow for dinner. Nice shops at the resort for last minute shopping.

The resort is fantastic. It has a beautiful swimming pool and a very nice beach. It is a little far from restaurants or shops, so you have to have your meals there. The restaurants are nice but nothing special. All the hotel staff are fantastic, especially Jenny and her restaurant team. Unfortunately Maire is an unfriendly person. She doesn’t meet the standards of the rest of the staff.|The room was excellent. We had a superb stay at the hotel.

Great stay for 2 nights at Le Tahiti by Pearl hotel. I have to say the staff were all so friendly and helpful, couldn’t fault anyone. |The bar and restaurant were great, we had the happy hour drinks, dinner and breakfast. We also had from the tapas menu which was lovely. The selection and quality of food was lovely and we enjoyed everything we had. |I have only given 4 stars as although the reception and restaurant/ bar area were fab, the around pool area could do with some minor TLC but this did not take away from a lovely pool in general. |We also used the complementary shuttle bus to and from Papeete which was a great bonus provided by the hotel. |Overall a great stay.

Stayed here for 2 nights on our trip into French Polynesia and again for 2 nights when leaving. It is a ways out of Papeete, which could be a problem for some people but both my husband and I like that it was quiet. Great view from the balconies to the beach. The beach was great to walk along and swim. Food was good. Breakfast buffet had lots of different choices and the employees were wonderful. We rented a car for our last day in Tahiti and the hotel arranged it all - very easy.

A beautiful stay in the signature suite after a couple of moves to get a room. I was apparently booked into a room at the very end of the resort, which was a long walk away from the central bar, eating areas and swimming pool. Our first relocated room was under the water tower which has an ear piercing high pitched humming noise. We were moved to a room right next to the crowing rooster at around 3am. Next day were were relocated to a beautiful signature suite and our stay there was wonderful. The resort has a beautiful large deep pool with shallow walk in areas. The service and food in the restaurant was excellent and the chef prepared beautiful meals, some using local produce such as locally caught shrimp. My favourite dessert is the Pearl Exotique which is meringue and cream and 10/10. ||If you stay at this resort and can find a way to stay in a signature suite then do so. I am a repeat guest and have tried several rooms now but the signature suite is the best. Room 3201 is a lovely room with a separate living room and bathroom with double basin. It would benefit with the addition of a portable luggage rack or two in the wardrobe as we had none. It would also benefit by putting a coffee maker in the room as we had none. I would have liked to see bottled water in the room as we had none. I would also like to see a stocked mini bar as our fridge was empty the entire stay. We asked to have it stocked but they told us we had to walk to the bar and select what we wanted in the fridge and they would not accept an order over the phone. For the entire stay we had no ice in our ice bucket either. The refinements one would expect in a 5 star hotel around the world were lacking sadly. I watched them clean the room and it really just involved spreading the bacteria around with a used cloth or mop, instead of actually using disinfection processes.||My main complaint is the smoking and vaping in the area alongside the pool. Every day this created a cloud of smoke which flooded the air over the pool. I have lung issues so this was offensive and basically polluted what would have been lovely fresh air coming in off the black sand beach. The people who want to pollute their own lungs have every right to do so but they do not have the right to make me sick whilst doing it. I thought smoking in public areas was illegal in Tahiti and this entitlement to smokers caused me discomfort and an asthma attack. It should be illegal to smoke anywhere near the pool and near the restaurant and bar - anywhere that the public are. Smokers should have to walk a distance away from others.||Be aware that cats, roosters, hens and baby chickens roam freely throughout the property. The roosters are quite noisy and crow all night long.||Be aware you must collect pool towels from reception and sign for them. This policy is very inconvenient. Obtaining pools next to the pool would be much easier for mobility impaired people and carry soggy towels all the way back to reception is inconvenient.||There is a kettle in the room thank goodness. We were able to make a cup of tea. The 'creamer' is in sachets and it was out of date as the creaming powder in the sachet had turned to solid rock. I drank my tea black.||The food would be considered by many as expensive and the serves are not large. The food however is delicious and beautifully presented. ||Our night manager Pierre is a sincere, kind and patient man who was very efficient in making us comfortable within his power.

We stayed here for three nights at the end of our trip in French Polynesia. The hotel itself is very outdated, though the rooms were decently sized and clean. Unfortunately, the reception manager and the restaurant staff were very unhelpful, unfriendly, and difficult to communicate with. The restaurant was subpar the food quality was mediocre. If this hotel were located in the city center with more dining options nearby, they wouldn’t get away with that level of service or food. The only bright side was the bell boys they were amazing: super friendly, kind, and had the best English out of everyone, which made it even stranger that the receptionists and waitresses barely spoke English at all. Overall, a disappointing experience and definitely not worth the price - would not stay here again.

The service at Le Tahiti was wonderful! We felt very welcomed and they were very quick to assist us with finding things to do and providing recommendations on Tahiti. The bell desk and front desk gentleman were just so kind and we really felt they took care of us. My only note is that I do not recommend the dinner menu. Our package came with breakfast, which was fine, but dinner was a little rough. The views were captivating from our room and at the restaurant. The sunsets are definitely something you have to experience. I don’t think I’ve seen a more beautiful sunset.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 days and were very surprised compared to the reviews and photos online. The hotel is extremely outdated, with things breaking or falling apart everywhere. Some sockets were hanging loose with exposed contacts, tiles were uneven both around the pool and on the stairs, and many areas showed clear neglect. The food was very repetitive and of low quality. It’s obvious that the hotel is poorly managed. Maybe it used to be good many years ago, but today it is in desperate need of renovation as well as better leadership. Even small details left a negative impression — for example, the in-room whirlpool was in terrible condition, with paint peeling off everywhere. Other guests reported the same issues with their rooms. Our travel agency responded quickly, but from the hotel itself there was no reaction at all. For the price, there are definitely much better alternatives. More a 2 Stars hotel, than anything else. Dont get fooled by there pictures.
