Le Terrazze del Sole

This is one of the best rooftops in Palermo, the food is 5 stars food. The dishes were super delicious, the service was excellent. Very professional and friendly staff! I highly recommend it and definitely will come back again!!

We went with the intention of having a drink while watching the sunset. The winter platter was so delicious that we decided to give the restaurant's menu a chance, despite some reviews claiming it was poor. OMG, everything was exquisite! I'm grateful I didn't let the reviews sway me, as the food was incredible. The view, the service, and the overall experience left my palate and heart very satisfied. It was a fantastic way to wrap up our stay in Palermo. As the Lonely Planet guide says, it's a must-do!

Staff very attentive. Food was delicious. Lovely atmosphere and the cocktails were amazing especially the melon sunset, one of the best cocktails I have had. Definitely worth a visit

We went here for drinks after dinner on a late weekday night. They had a €20 tasting menu that included a drink. It was a good deal so we got that. We were seated outside. It had a nice view. I wish they would seat smokers in one area and noon smokers in another. The tables on both sides of us were soon occupied after we sat down with smokers. The view from the rooftop bar was nice. It's on the 5th floor of the hotel.

Don’t eat dinner here! It was probably the worst food we had on our trip in Palermo. Every dish tastes like they use semi-processed products. This restaurant relies heavily on its atmosphere, but it’s not enough to make up for the poor food. I order 4-courses but none managed to impress me or even get me slightly satisfied.

If you want good Italian food, this is not the place. If you want a good view, or don’t know good food, this is your place. Out of 6 meals, 5 were poorly prepared. Two pastas were overcooked and two were undercooked. The octopus was tough, the ravioli pasta was too thick. The food was well presented, mostly, and edible but average at best (by north American standards). I would not return for The food.

Great view, great food! Sara was very kind and helpfull and one of the few we found in Sicily speaking english. All the personnel was polite and attentive. Great place. I would surely come again

Overall a restaurant/bar with a super nice view and reasonable prices with average food and service. Would come again for drinks but not for dinner.
