Le Terrazze del Sole

We went with the intention of having a drink while watching the sunset. The winter platter was so delicious that we decided to give the restaurant's menu a chance, despite some reviews claiming it was poor. OMG, everything was exquisite! I'm grateful I didn't let the reviews sway me, as the food was incredible. The view, the service, and the overall experience left my palate and heart very satisfied. It was a fantastic way to wrap up our stay in Palermo. As the Lonely Planet guide says, it's a must-do!

Staff very attentive. Food was delicious. Lovely atmosphere and the cocktails were amazing especially the melon sunset, one of the best cocktails I have had. Definitely worth a visit

Don’t eat dinner here! It was probably the worst food we had on our trip in Palermo. Every dish tastes like they use semi-processed products. This restaurant relies heavily on its atmosphere, but it’s not enough to make up for the poor food. I order 4-courses but none managed to impress me or even get me slightly satisfied.

We went here for drinks after dinner on a late weekday night. They had a €20 tasting menu that included a drink. It was a good deal so we got that. We were seated outside. It had a nice view. I wish they would seat smokers in one area and noon smokers in another. The tables on both sides of us were soon occupied after we sat down with smokers. The view from the rooftop bar was nice. It's on the 5th floor of the hotel.

If you want good Italian food, this is not the place. If you want a good view, or don’t know good food, this is your place. Out of 6 meals, 5 were poorly prepared. Two pastas were overcooked and two were undercooked. The octopus was tough, the ravioli pasta was too thick. The food was well presented, mostly, and edible but average at best (by north American standards). I would not return for The food.

Overall a restaurant/bar with a super nice view and reasonable prices with average food and service. Would come again for drinks but not for dinner.

Great view, great food! Sara was very kind and helpfull and one of the few we found in Sicily speaking english. All the personnel was polite and attentive. Great place. I would surely come again

This roof top restaurant was a happy discovery. We booked a table online for 2 people as I wanted a romantic dinner with my girlfriend and we once we arrived we got welcomed by a stunning view of Palermo's mountains and sea. The waiters and staff were super kind and friendly. No one complained that we took lots of pictures on the terrace! The fried seafood antipasto was amazing but the first and second course were a real dream! I ordered a Salmon Busiate (traditional pasta) was incredible and had a depth of flavour and my girlfriend ordered a second dish of fish which arrived a little late. The staff, to say sorry, brought out a delicious fresh side dish with white fish tomatoes and almonds. My girlfriend is Italian and she was not disappointed. The night kept getting better as the sun got down and the dj started playing summer hits (we think they secretly stole our Spotify playlist). Atmosphere was 10/10!! Drinks were also amazing. Would absolutely recommend to anyone who loves good food and wants a nice romantic dinner with a view on Palermo.
