Le Terrazze di Properzio

Enjoyed a wonderful meal on two occasions, cannot say enough about the food and service. The lentil soup was the best I EVER had in my life. Vegan friendly but also a carnivores paradise. Generous portions and fair price. Highly recommend a reservation in advance.

So good the 1st time, we stopped in again. Spouse had the Raviolini 1st time & it was excellent, so I had the same dish on our 2nd visit. The bruschetta was the best we’ve ever had. Wine selections were wonderful & service was superb!

Had much today. Service was fast friendly and efficient. We sat on patio with view. We first dined here in 2017. We often bring gusts when touring Assisi. Food is excellent and the views amazing. Reservations required. Highly recommended.

The excellent food was truly a delight to savor, with each bite bursting with flavor. The panoramic view of the valley provided a stunning backdrop for the entire dining experience. It was a pleasure to sit and enjoy the scenery while indulging in such culinary artistry. Every element of the meal was thoughtfully crafted to enhance the overall enjoyment. I am grateful for the opportunity to have experienced this remarkable combination.

Very rude manager - at 14:45, I very politely asked if he spoke English and then asked if it's possible to order a coffee and he said, quote, "we're not a bar, we're a restaurant and we are closed." Sign posted outside says they're open until 15:30. He could have at least shared sorry, that's not possible as we're a restaurant. It's possible you'll receive service if you're white (I'm not). I visited years ago and was warmly welcomed and had an early afternoon coffee on the terrace, unsure if the manager was having a bad day or if it's the rise in hostility towards non-white people. Either way, I'd avoid. Update: my partner was there and heard the entire conversation, the manager's reply is not true. He was very rude and smirked and me, it was 14:45 (I have a Google Maps timeline to show we arrived at 14:42) and we would have been happy to order lunch if he shared that as an option but didn't even invite us to come back later, he definitely did not thank me and definitely did not suggest ordering food or lunch, he outright said we are not a bar and we are closed. He clearly did not want my business. This is the complete opposite of other businesses in Assisi that warmly welcomed us for coffee and dessert, and several that went out of their way to hand me a business card and invite me for dinner. I don't recommend eating at Le Terrazze di Properzio.

Had a really nice lunch and we were seated on the upstairs terrace and was nice. I recommend you make a reservation in advance to get the table with the view. Food The food are good. We enjoyed every dishes and ended with a full of happy belly. 😂 Service Service was friendly and efficient.

Perfect for a date! The raviolis were very tasty. I recommend making a reservation if you want the perfect view but even if you don’t have one the whole restaurant is beautiful.

Amazing view from the terrace. If you time it right, you can watch the sunset. Really friendly and super efficient service. Best to reserve but we were lucky with a walk in for two immediately as they opened at 7.15pm. Lovely food and an excellent bottle of Orvieto Classico for a very good price. One of the most enjoyable dinners I've had in a long time.
