All these 1-star and 5-star reviews for this place? Let me address this Best Place! / Worst Place! dichotomy for you: If you are the type of guest who would use the term "worth it" in a review, you're walking into a place like Le 'Ti with a ruinous, defensive attitude and you're begging for disappointment. This isn't to say that you should be willing to throw money away; it's to say that you are walking into one of the most creative endeavors I've ever seen in one of the hardest industries on the planet (my industry) and opinions on whether or not Le 'Ti is "worth it" will be as varied as those of an abstract painting on a wall with a giant price tag: worth it to some, not to everyone. You're paying (a lot) for an extraordinary experience in one of the most expensive places on earth (to live, visit, and run a restaurant). When my wife and I went, we were told ahead of time that there would be a $250 or $300pp food and beverage minimum at our table. Boom. That's the entry fee. Drinks are fantastic, food is pretty average, the show and the vibe and the surroundings are surreal (at least for an American). If you can afford $300pp+ for surreal, go. If you want to argue about what you got for $140, you're in the wrong restaurant and likely on the wrong island but most importantly... you missed the point. Worse, you were probably so pissed off about your $140 that you couldn't enjoy the fun to be had. And for those of you who "walked out angry" early - the fun doesn't start until long after dinner (at no extra charge). I have written just a handful of reviews in my 30 year restaurant career. Le 'Ti St. Barths is one of the most memorable restaurant experiences of my life - so I thought I would write. I hope it helps.
