Île de Ré's Beaches, Vineyards, and Quaint Villages Are France's Best-kept Summer Secret, June 2021
"At lunch the next day, I ate what felt like the platonic ideal of the island's ubiquitous seafood platter at a homey little restaurant called Le Tout du Cru ('Everything Raw'), tucked into a photogenic alleyway dominated by a shuttered old cinema." - Travel + Leisure Editors
I really fell in love with this restaurant. The vibe is friendly and authentic with small tables and checkered tablecloths. If you like seafood and especially oysters, this is a must visit. So many different platters to choose from. I went for the assiette de coquillages 'Le Bucheron'. A real treat! My boyfriend who isn't that keen on seafood, had a platter with local meat specialties, which was also very good.
As a dessert I ordered the champagne gourmande: a nice big glass of champagne accompanied with four different small desserts. Lovely!
Highly recommended!

I went to eat alone today and had an excellent experience. I ordered a seafood platter and it was absolutely delicious and super fresh.
But what really made the difference was the service. I do not know their names but they both were incredibly friendly and attentive, and even stayed a bit later so I could finish eating without feeling rushed.
If I'm ever back to the town, I'll definitely go there once again.

We got a dozen oysters and the shrimp with parsley. The oysters were fresh, a good size, and delicious. The shrimp with parsley were also great! The aromatics used in cooking them really give a delicious flavor.
Service was also very friendly and helpful. They answered our questions about the oysters sizes and flavor profiles.
We loved it here, will definitely be back!

Nice French Bistro specialized in sea food. The seafood platter was very, so were the garlic and parsley shrimps. Atmosphere as you want it for a French Bistro.
Not much for kids on the menu.

If you like seafood, great atmosphere this is it! Off the main center by 20 mètres it’s a quieter, cozy place that believes in great food.

We loved this restaurant. The staff were brilliant and the food out of this world. If you have the half crab be prepared to work for it with the tools provided. The cafég gourmandise (coffee plus mini versions of all the desserts on the menu) is an experience you won't forget in a hurry.
From the reviews on knapkins hanging up in the loo we were not alone in our appreciation!

We enjoyed the meal, particularly the smoked fish pie & clams. We were a little disappointed with the langoustines we ordered. We ordered 3 dishes to share but found the table was very small for this. It's a quirky restaurant, with a lovely atmosphere.

3 of us have eaten a dinner there on 27.08.2024 and it was great: very kind service, brilliant and fresh food, nicely prepared, good beer and wine, friendly atmosphere, nicely decorated space

Our favorite restaurant in Saint Martin - extremely fresh seafood and shellfish, very reasonable prices. Nice wine list to boot. Highly recommend if you're looking to have a dozen oysters and other delicacies from the area.
