Yelp
Le Trumilou is homely, welcoming, simple, and so very charming. The menus/formules also make it very affordable.
Artichoke entrée comes with a vinaigrette that I would buy a whole truckload of if I could. It's not meant (I think?) to be a dip for the restaurant's fantastic bread, but nobody will blame you if you disagree because the combination is great.
The grillade de porc is juicy, tender, delicious. The duck is great. It's also impossible to finish and on top of that, it comes with humongous potato sides which are dangerous in the sense that they are way too addictive. As for dessert you want the crème caramel, a well-executed classic.
Light-hearted, attentive, friendly, and overall immaculate service. If you're a songwriter you should come to Le Trumilou, enjoy dinner here, and then write a song about it.
