Great indoor activity for kids, specially young ones. It does have some science related sections but it’s not a “history of science museum” like you might find in other cities. Kids loved it, it seemed modern and well maintained. Signs and explanations were in French, German, and English. The place has its own parking area (and in our case we got a free voucher at the exit)

Great place to visit with young (and older) children. There are lots of sensory experiences for babies. We loved the outside too. Shame about the cafe being closed but happy there were vending machine options.

A great place to take your kids on a rainy day or when they're done with "endless days looking at old houses and churches!" The museum is very interactive and our kids. 7 and 12, would have stayed way longer than the 3 hours we spent there. I'd make sure to bring my own lunch as there are very limited options for buying food but there's a big "family pic-nick area" where people sit down to eat - and grown-ups can sit and drink vending machine coffee. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

A very nice science museum, especially well-suited for families with children. You can easily spend at least 2–3 hours exploring the exhibits. It's best to visit on a less busy day, as the museum can get quite crowded and queues often form at the most popular activities. There are many attractions for young children, as well as engaging experiences for older kids and adults. Paid car parking and a free of charge bike locker are available just outside. the museum.

It’s okay, but not really what I expected from a “science museum.” It’s more like a big indoor playground with a few fun interactive things here and there. Probably great for younger kids (around 8 and under), but older ones might get bored pretty fast. It wasn’t bad — just not much in terms of real science exhibits.

We had such a great time here and will definitely be back! If you buy a subscription the same day you come, they'll reimburse your entry. You can bring food and eat it there, but the café doesn't offer much. The website says ideal for 2 and up but my almost one-year-old had a blast.

Unfortunately, the restaurant was a big disappointment. The steak was tough, full of gristle, and the sauce had no flavor at all. The duck breast was also very chewy. I honestly don’t understand the high rating (4.6) and all the glowing reviews — it feels like they were written by people who have never tried truly good food. Overall, it’s an absolutely average place and definitely not worth the price.

Googled museums and it said that this was a science museum, and it is, but just one for kids, I should have read the fine print. I thought that as long as I am there, why not nuture my inner child and just check it out. Ticket price is pretty cheap, 7 euros I think. Well designed and probably a totally cool place for a kid. It's nice that there are places like this for kids, and for those of us who want to remember what that was like. The exhibits, tasks and games would be very good for children. If you have kids and are in Strasbourg, this would be a nice place to go. They also have seating and possibly beverage or food services for the adults.

Yelp
We were so impressed by this museum. Directed at kids aged 3-15, there's a little something for every child. It's bright and airy and well spaced. Exhibits are well explained in English, French and German. We have been to science museums across North America and really appreciated how this one got kids thinking in new and creative ways about social issues, infrastructure and energy. They even had an outdoor element with gardens, pond, bee hives and limited playground equipment. Snacks available on site or bring your own.
