Le Val Thorens, Val Thorens, a Beaumier hotel

I would give Val Thorens hotel 5, but Trip advisor doesn’t allow it.?|The staff make this hotel, they really are lovely. We got a very warm welcome by the reception staff on arrival, and then a tour of the hotel.|I must mention Tom and his staff from the restaurant, he went out of his way to help my husband who has Parkinson’s also Eloise and Leis who were so kind. This is a wonderful hotel located right on the snow. From the moment I arrived the service I received throughout the hotel was fantastic. I was thrilled to receive an upgrade overlooking the slopes. The facilities with a good size heated pool which has 4 hot tub like jets coming out of the wall at different levels so you can massage your feet your thighs your lower back & upper back. Actually better than a hot tub. There is also a sauna & a steam room (Humum). Robes & slippers are supplied in your room for the pool area. Breakfast offers a wide variety. Again the staff in the breakfast area were so nice and polite. The room whilst not huge, was very nice & spotlessly cleaned daily. This hotel is definitely ski in-ski out. You get your own secure ski locker which is operated by your room card. The lockers are heated so your ski gear is dry the next morning. Once you’re set to Ski, you simply walk out the automatic door and take about 20 steps and you’re skiing - reverse the process on the way home. All the staff went out of their way to be helpful. Special mention to Louis in the bar area as well Reception area Charlotte, Leah & Axel. Thanks I had a fantastic 2 weeks stay at your hotel 😁

Location was perfect - you could ski in & ski out of the hotel. Convenient lockers for your equipment. We booked half-board so had breakfast and dinner at the hotel. Especially the dinner was amazing - lots of choices and very good quality. The restaurant staff were extremely nice and polite. The rooms are a bit small for the price, but the lovely Mountain View made up for it. During busy hours, the elevator took some time, think it would be better to have two for its size.

This hotel was one of the best ski hotels we have visited. Location is perfect, ski in and out, near the restaurants and shops. The service is immaculate, extremely polite and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and highly clean. There is a beautiful SPA with great pool and saunas. We highly recommend staying there!

Do not get a room over the bar if you are there to ski and want to get some sleep. Coldest restaurant ever.Never had to wear a puffer jacket to breakfast and dinner ever . My mate even wore a beanie Everything at breakfast is cold. Eggs bacon whatever should be in a Bain Marie. Just put out on the bench under a shitty little heat lamp. One self serve coffee machine which you have to stand in line for . Bring your own cup / mug because they run out every day and got sick of asking for a mug or cup every day. I'm not bitching just stating the facts. Great position on the mountain but for the cost I think they are trading on past glories . Also got food poisoning one night and not just me . Also found hot water was only luke warm once every one comes in at the end of the day. Staff were excellent . The meat dish every night was beef in a different cut . Whatever happened to chicken veal or pork . Mix it up a bit guys . And if you are vegetarian,hope you like pasta every night. Stayed in cheaper places with half board and better meals. If you don't like my review i can't help that but this was my experience and I'm calling it as I experienced it

We had an excellent week and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Accommodation was comfortable and clean. Food was good and varied.

Terrible terrible terrible. Stolen airpords by the cleaning staffer , complaint reception, they never addressed the issue. My partner can still see the AirPods move in another French location due to staff returning back home after season. They he rooms where filthy! Bad terrible inexperienced service , no amenities , lacking smiles and welcoming behaviour. Damps smell, problems with draining and blames to the customer. I know some prisons could be better than this. All do this for £3000 a week. REFRAIN YOURSELF FROM BOOKING THIS HOTEL. STAY AWAY. I warned you

Great service of the hotel staff. Will do whatever is required for you to enjoy your stay. Great location and comfortable rooms.
