We were visiting Chantilly and decided to stay for lunch, and we found Le Vertugadin, with amazing staff and food. Highly recommend.

A wonderful place to have your meal and hang out. The decor was quirky and it just gave me a change of mood coming in from a cold rainy day. Mike, the owner, is a very hospitable guy with loads of character. He is the genuine French hospitality I found (closest to Paris). He gave recommendations and ensured that everyone got what they like and within their taste tolerant. Everything was so good. We had beef tartar, blood sausage in the jar (which pair very well with cognac or whiskey on the very wet and cold day), and a couple of others. All around the experience was so nice. The service was friendly and genuine, the food was delicious.

Our evening at Le Vertugadin was truly wonderful! The service was beyond good, and you could really feel the love and passion that every staff member put into their work. The food was very good and we truly enjoyed ourselves. Our advice: Do try their cocktails. Not only are the alcohol creations creative and flavourful, the non-alcoholic cocktails are also a true delight with a surprising depth.

As a self-proclaimed aficionado of French cuisine, I felt compelled to explore the flavors of authenticity at Le Vertugadin. Nestled in the heart of our community, this enchanting bistro takes diners on a culinary voyage through the diverse regions of France, leaving taste buds swirling with delight. Upon entering Le Vertugadin, one is immediately transported to the cozy ambiance reminiscent of a charming café in Paris. The warm colors, soft lighting, and rustic décor create an inviting atmosphere that perfectly complements the dining experience that awaits. Let's dive into the star of the show—the food! The menu at Le Vertugadin is a testimony to the meticulous attention to detail and dedication to traditional French cooking techniques. From classic starters like escargots and French onion soup, to tantalizing mains such as coq au vin and boeuf bourguignon, every dish showcases the incredible flavors that make French cuisine so beloved worldwide. During my visit, I had the pleasure of indulging in Le Vertugadin's signature dish, the perfectly executed Bouillabaisse. A medley of fresh seafood, including tender fish, succulent shrimp, and plump mussels, harmonized with delicate saffron-infused broth, transported me to the shores of Marseille. Each spoonful was a symphony of flavors that convinced me of the chef's artistry and commitment to authenticity. Alongside their exceptional food, Le Vertugadin boasts an extensive wine list. The knowledgeable staff is more than happy to recommend the perfect pairing to enhance your meal. Their selection of French wines offers a comprehensive journey through renowned vineyards, further elevating the overall dining experience. The attentive and friendly service at Le Vertugadin deserves a special mention. The staff exudes passion for their craft, ensuring diners feel pampered and well taken care of throughout the entire meal. Their genuine enthusiasm for French cuisine shines through in their recommendations and eagerness to share their knowledge about each dish. In conclusion, Le Vertugadin has unquestionably earned its reputation as one of the best authentic French restaurants in the area. From the tantalizing flavors of their dishes to the inviting ambiance and exceptional service, the pleasure of dining here is an unforgettable experience. If you seek an opportunity to savor the true taste of France, do not miss the chance to indulge in Le Vertugadin's culinary delights. Bon appétit!

Oh my flaming stars!! We were left nearly speechless. We could only manage silly smiles and giggles at the end of our meal. Not sure if we were wine drunk from their generous pours or food drunk and delirious. Possibly one of the best dining experiences we have had and in such a beautiful and friendly little French town.

Perfect and brilliant experience for my first holiday leaving the UK, went to Chantilly. And when we were looking for a restaurant we found. Le Vertugadin, it was a first for me to try some different food I'd never get another opportunity to try. I had the Bone Mallow, and the Veal Burger. My parents had the Pork Confit, My Sister had the Scallops. We went on Sunday 18th August. Let me just say the service was incredible. Our French is not perfect. And all of the Floor Staff speak brilliant English and were lovely. The food was very fresh, from the entrees to the plats, we were stuck in and enjoying the fresh unique flavours. And the owner is a brilliant character and a lovely man. Its obvious this restaurant is his passion and so many others. Brilliant experience, if you're in Chantilly it's a must try.

We had a delicious lunch here. My kids enjoyed the steak and chicken. I had the duck. The staff was very helpful in deciding what to eat. The chantilly cream was as good as advertised.

Yelp
Incredible food, both presentation and taste. The staff were very kind and informative. They were able to adjust menu items for a severe gluten allergy. Highly recommend! Very cute ambiance as well.

Yelp
This restaurant is the epitome of what it's like to relax in the country side of France. I had the blood sausage, bone marrow, and truffle pasta. All three were amazing. A must hit if in Chantilly. Oh, and they have serve Chantilly cream :)

Yelp
Delicious food, great service, beautiful outdoor seating area. They have an interesting menu. You can order the 3 course set menu with a variety of options for appetizer, entree & dessert for 32€. They also have an a la carte menu where you can either order freely OR swap out some dishes for an additional cost from the set menu! We were seated immediately table of choice. We ordered a bottle of brouilly, my favorite, and it was brought it in a cold bucket to keep chilled. Fresh little bread puffs were provided. We ordered the tomatoes baked with goat cheese and pesto with greens to start. For a main, I got the fish of the day (sea bream) which they present whole and then take back briefly to de bone for you. My boyfriend JB got the chicken with crayfish, it came with a wonderful pasta and cream sauce. The pièce de résistance was dessert. I had the home made apricot tart with home made apricot sorbet and fresh Chantilly. JB had the creme brûlée with orange zest. Honestly my dessert was so good, I don't see the point of ever eating a dessert again. Recommend giving this place a visit- lots of locals seemed to be dining here, and the staff seemed to be close with their diners.

Yelp
A comfortable and lovely restaurant. Our group of nine received warm and gracious service along with excellent food and wine. Every dish was beautifully presented. I had scallops with sauce corail and enjoyed it thoroughly. A lovely evening. Unfortunately our cab returned before we could have dessert. Probably a good thing though! I hate reviewing a restaurant after only one visit and one dish, but this place was good enough to deserve a good review.
