Le Viaduc

Nice place to meet up with friends for an "after-work" or for an "apéro". The prices are great and it's one of the only bars in Paris that offers a liter of beer instead of ordering two pints (and it's actually recommended to order the liter if you plan on being their for awhile, because it gets crowded and can take awhile to receive new drinks after your first round). I recommend arriving before 7pm for better chances of getting a place to sit (especially on the terrasse). Oh and they have a little foozeball (baby-foot) table inside which is a fun activity to play with friends!

We ordered cafe, tiramisu, and French toast. The taste was good but it takes a little to find the waiters.

Unfortunately, our visit to Le Viaduc fell well short of expectations. Upon arrival, we received no proper greeting or service. Instead, we were left to find our own seating in what felt like a disorganised scramble. The seating itself was extremely cramped, making for an uncomfortable experience even before we ordered. We wisely decided against ordering food after the initial impression, but even the drinks were a major letdown. I ordered a 500ml Coke for €4.50, which arrived completely flat with an odd, artificial lemon flavour that made it barely recognisable as Coke. This wasn't an isolated issue. My friend's sparkling water was equally disappointing, lacking any carbonation whatsoever. It appears there may have been a problem with the drinks dispenser, though no one from the staff acknowledged or addressed this. Given the poor service, cramped conditions, and substandard beverages, I cannot recommend Le Viaduc. There are far better options in Paris where your money and time will be better spent.

such a disappointing experience here. It was impossible to place an order with servers telling us to go to the bar and the bar telling us to sit down to get an order. when we finally did order, we did not receive our drinks until asking three times and almost every server we spoke to had some kind of attitude. the food was also lacking, the “fish and chips” was more like chips with a small piece of fish. to top it off, when they required me to pay in cash (CB minimum), they did not have change for a twenty euro bill. it’s a shame because the ambience seemed nice but i would not come back.

Really nice surprise!! On our way to Gare de Lyon we stopped by by chance. Really nice lunch for a small price. They brew their own beers. A must to try! Perfect spot for travelers and students

Amazing place, good price and really nice staff.

Good dive bar with easy and very affordable snacks and cheap drinks. Nice outdoor terrace, service is quite fast even during the rush hour.

Great vibes on the interior and good pricing for the food. Service is a bit slow.

The food is nothing to shout about. Though the brunch menu at 25 euros featuring a live jazz band was a good thing.

The apartment that I am living in for the summer is located right by Le Viaduc Cafe, so I was interested in stopping by at least once. One thing that I really like about this place is that they showed the World Cup matches on a huge screen and the entire restaurant felt like a little community. I was able to catch the final match between Germany and Argentina there and it was really fun! However, my friends and I showed up around 8:45pm for the 9pm game and ordered a few drinks which came at a decent time. A few other friends joined us later on and that was when the problems started. Granted that there was only 1 waitress for the entire patio section, the service was still extremely slow and careless. My friend had ordered a cheese plate before the place was full and after waiting for 30 minutes it still didn't show up. The waitress was unable to give us an explanation for the restaurant's inability to perform the simple task of placing cheese slices on a platter. She ended up getting a cheeseburger that she said was pretty good. Other friends ended up waiting over an hour food. When the time came around for us to pay, she charged something twice and initially forgot to include 2 things on the bill. Lastly, I hate to point this out but it is completely necessary. For the two times that I've been to the restaurant, I've seen a mouse crawl around each time. A friend was justifying that it is indeed the "viaduct cafe", which means that they may not be able to do anything about it, but it was still shocking to see. While it was understandably a very busy night, the careless nature of the restaurant was off-putting.

I loved this place. Service was great. We had the mussels with wine - they brought out a huge pot of mussels and we relaxed while figuring out what to do our last night in Paris.

This restaurant was close to where I was staying in Paris (in an apartment). I had a really good hamburger with frites here. The cost was not too expensive and the service was good.
