If you have limited time in Reggio Calabria and need to find that one restaurant to sample some of the best local fares, Le vie del Gusto is definitely a must try. This family-owned venue with friendly servers off not only offer a la carte options packed with traditional local flavors, but also fixed menu choices for those who want to try them all. And what a feast that is! From the mouthwatering antipasto to the delicious homemade primi and cooked to perfection secondi, nothing disappoints. Did I say the portions are generous too? As one of the two tourists eating in this locals-centric place, I feel a bit guilty for writing this review for fear that it might be bombarded with out-of-towners like myself if the words are out. But what the heck, someone's got to spill the beans. Please don't hate me Calabrese. I just love your food!

Amazing food with great service. It is a guide to Calabrian cuisine. They don't have a menu, but the whole menu, including wine, was to us for 60 euros for 2. Great satisfaction, thank you for the experience!

Came here almost by accident and the meal was absolutely incredible. There wasn't any menu, but the food was all incredible and extremely authentic. The owner was our server, despite us not speaking italian, and the staff not speaking English we managed to communicate well enough. The owner was so kind and when we told him it was our honeymoon he didn't charge me for my beer. An absolutely incredible way to cap off our trip.

Excellent service and delicious food. Our host recommended this restaurant, and it did not disappoint. Tucked away just off the popular Main Street, it offered a wonderful experience of authentic Calabrian cuisine.

Best traditional calabrian food cooked by owner's family. Totally amazing dishies, so special, so tasty. We loved it!!! 20/5 stars. No menu, you eat what is prepared for the day. We must come again.
