We really had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It was recommended by British Airways as part of their holiday package. It is set in a residential area, very close to the Eiffel tower which was a short walk away. The hotel is also very near two metro lines; the 6 and 10 - both within easy walking distance. Additionally, there is a supermarket nearby, multiple cafes and Boulangeries (although many closed during the August holidays - as we found out). The hotel has a very boutique feel. The building externally was very well kept up. The staff at check-in were very nice when we entered. In fact, all staff interactions during our stay were excellent. I particularly liked the attention from the staff in the bar/breakfast area as well as out room cleaner. Our room was cozy, smaller than I had thought when booking but was very clean and appointed well. The sheets and bed were clean and very comfortable. Bathroom was extremely clean. Shower had both a sprayer and waterfall head. The safe was not working well was the only concern that effected me as regards the room. So, I kept my documents with me during my trip. We really liked the bar, it was very cozy and had a cocktail one night. The young lady that made our drinks was so friendly. Breakfast was fine in the mornings but most days we went out to a cafe so you may not need to have the breakfast option. The young lady that was in the breakfast area was also so nice! Finally, the terrace area on the top of the hotel was nice and you can just see the top of the Eiffel tower! Overall, would recommend this hotel. Very nice stay!

The main reason I booked Le Wallace for my partner's birthday was the promise of an Eiffel Tower view from the suite, and yes, you can see the Eiffel Tower and it's very impressive, but there's so much more to this hotel than that. Let's start with the breakfast. Fresh cakes are baked every day so the hotel smells of baking every morning. There are fresh condiments, jams, honey, cheeses which are all purchased from local small producers, plus homemade granola and fresh eggs - delicious. The suite itself was perfect; not too big, but cosy and intimate, full of light with wide windows leading onto a private balcony and a skylight so you can see the stars before you go to sleep. And yes, there's the view of the Eiffel Tower - it's not massive and you have to crane your neck slightly, but that just makes the whole thing feel more authentic. You feel like a Parisian local not a tourist here. The staff were warm and friendly and really looked after us. I was so impressed!

We loved The Wallace. I was a little nervous when we pulled up because it looked so small on the outside, but it wasn’t the case at all. We were checked in right away into a Family Room - if you are traveling with a family, this is so the way to go! It’s an adjoining room, so our kiddo got his own room - he was in HEAVEN (adjoining so we could still get in). Everyone we encountered was so incredibly kind - I’ll call out specifically Evgene and Sophia, although there were many others. The bar service is fantastic and reasonable in such a fun atmosphere. Lastly, location - there are views of the Eiffel Tower which was so fun, but obviously it made that part of the city close - we would walk down early in the morning and be the only ones there. There are tons of little shops to buy snacks and drinks, restaurants, pastry shops, etc and it’s also super close to the Metro Station. 10/10 would recommend.

Location was great! 10 minute walk to the metro and 15 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. As for the rooms, it is definitely worth its price. Service is great throughout, but they could’ve fixed the locker when requested.

I had a great stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience feel warm and personal. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had a cozy yet modern design that made it very comfortable. The only small downside was the noise isolation — I could clearly hear people talking on the street below, which might be a consideration for light sleepers. Overall, though, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely consider coming back!

We were excited for our stay at Hotel Wallace given what we had read but felt as if we were staying at a budget hotel rather than a four star boutique hotel. A number of the amenities advertised online were not available (no hot tub anymore, bar closed off one night), and simple requests like help with dinner reservations at non-exclusive restaurants and having the towels switched in our room either did not happen or took over 24 hours. The stars we did give are for cleanliness and location.

An absolutely delightful experience. The location is superb. The price is excellent. The service at all positions is great. The bar and drinks and food are excellent. All of this simply made for a great stay in Paris.

UPDATE - JULY 9TH Melanie, I am adding screenshot that the points from this visit were deducted from my account on the dates I had scheduled to stay at your hotel. Now, Hyatt does control the points but this proves my reservation wasn't cancelled by Hyatt. The error that put me and my partner in a dangerous situation is on the HOTEL WALLACE. As a reminder, this was the night in Paris where 13 people were stabbed with syringes and your hotel left us with no place to stay late at night. UPDATED - JULY 8TH: Melanie, your response from 2 weeks ago is disappointing. After we were turned away by your front desk, I emailed your hotel visual proof that the reservation was still active on Hyatt. In fact, it was still active on Hyatt for the two nights I was supposed to stay at your hotel. This leads me to believe you either are ignoring the visual evidence to make your hotel not look bad on this forum OR you choose not to read my email where I sent you the screen shots. Either way, I have been a loyal customer for Hyatt for 15 years. I have never had an issue in all of my travels like this egregious one until I made the mistake to make a reservation at your hotel. Your hotel put me and my parter in a potentially dangerous situation where we had to find a hotel both last minute & late at night on one of the busiest nights of the year in Paris. Instead of being worried about a bad review, you should be thankful that nothing happened to me and my partner or we'd have quite the lawsuit on our hands. As a reminder from my previous email, we also had to shell out $1900 for this room and still have not been refunded our Hyatt points which were deducted from my account. To anyone reading this, trying to resolve this situation has been horrible. I feel like I have been treated like a dog. Stay away from the Hotel Wallace. There are so many wonderful places to stay in Paris - this is NOT one of them. Plus, from what I saw of the hotel in person, it doesn't look as nice as the pictures on the website. ORIGINAL EMAIL We had a reservation booked through Hyatt. When we got to the Hotel Wallace, the person at the front desk told us they didn’t have a room for us even though we showed him the confirmation number and to come back the next day even though it was a 11pm at night and we were in a foreign country. I have been a globalist with Hyatt. Never had this happen before and I’ll be switching my loyalty to another hotel chain.

Yelp
4 stars for a nice boutique hotel walking distance to the Eiffel Tower! We stayed during our layover and it was conveniently located. The hotel itself is rather small, I think there's only 9 rooms or so. The room was a typical Paris size, a little smaller than normal but the bathroom was quite larger than others. The shower was a good size and has a separate space for the toilet and sink. I love the look of the lobby, very modern cute terrazzo flooring and flutted marble on the reception desk. They gave us our room a little earlier than check-in which was nice since we came off a red eye. They were good about giving us filtered water and extra coffee pods. Pro tip: visit the bakery nearby in the AM, so many good options (go with the banana chocolate crosssiant) at a great price!

Yelp
This is not a good hotel to deal with. Bad customer service. Misleading photos and policies. I would not stay at their properties. They are not hyatts and not of the same quality. I booked a room with a queen sized bed at hotel Wallace in Paris. When I arrived I was given a single twin and told that if I wanted a queen I would have to pay more money. I couldn't sleep in a twin with my friend and so I asked to cancel the room. They wouldn't do this for me. I canceled on the website and was charged $500. Additionally the rooms are dark, humid and are falling apart. It's also in a rundown area of the city. Do not stay here.

Yelp
Rooms were very clean had heating and air-conditioning very nice amenities and breakfast was amazing. I wish it was near a busier area better than that it's a hotel I'd go back to. But I wish they knew and use the Hyatt program more.
