Came back today (10/15) for the second time and was greeted by Amelia, who remembered my first order from two months ago! Like howww?? 😭 It’s truly the little things that make a place special. The fact that she even asked how I enjoyed the cheeses and offered such thoughtful new recommendations made the whole experience feel so warm and personal. this place is like a small family-run shop you’d find in a village in France, not busy NYC where everything feels so transactional. Such a cute little place! The woman working when I went was so sweet and showed me what cheeses paired well with a jam I chose, and the selection was great and fairly priced. In addition to cheese, they sell fresh bread, spreads, and olives/pickles so you can make a great charcuterie board.

I had the most amazing experience at this French cheese shop in Brooklyn today! The selection was incredible, offering a perfect mix of classic French cheeses and unique finds. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and happy to share recommendations, making the visit even more special. Every cheese I tried was exceptional, and I can’t wait to go back for more. A lovely little cheese shop with an amazing selection of cheeses like Comté, Ossau-Iraty, creamy Fromager d’Affinois, and excellent gourmet products to pair with. The store is cozy and inviting, and the atmosphere is made even warmer by Lea, the owner, whose radiant personality makes you feel right at home. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and eager to share her passion for fine cheeses. A must-visit for any cheese lover!

A wonderful assortment of cheeses and French products, along with some incredibly fresh baguettes. This shop does an amazing job of sourcing real French goods; so excited to have them in town!

This is a lovely place owned by a lovely, friendly woman. Great selection of cheese as well as accoutrements. Prices are reasonable for the quality.

This is a newly open (since December 2014 it seems) small French owned cheese shop/fromagerie along with a couple other accoutrements. The people in front are friendly. As per the name, they of course primarily have French cheeses but also offer some other things such as super high quality gorgonzola including one type which is soft enough to be scooped out of a wheel and some other snacks and stuff. I bought a really tasty Roquefort which is worth ever penny and I'll likely stop by again. The prices are high but hey it's a fancy cheese shop in a fancy neighborhood so what do you expect. If you're looking for some primarily French cheese specialties and you can't find them at the nearby Cheese Plate, stop here.

A vast selection of cheeses, naturally, but also sandwiches--and not just the French ones you'd expect. Sure, Lea (the friendly proprietor) will make you one on a baguette, but she also offers some quite exotic premade sandwiches: I had the cumin Gouda and chorizo (yummy), and I saw chorizo and feta on display as well. Definitely worth a visit!

In addition to transporting us to a unique world, this cheese shop offers top-quality products that are hard to find anywhere else! Léa, the owner, is absolutely wonderful - check it out!
