This is a great place for walking. I regularly walk a 3 mile circuit. Beware in summer. Take lots of water and wear lots of sunscreen as there isn't much shade out in the open. Also take a container with you as you're like to come across some blackberries. These are abundant during the summer months. There will be some water logged areas during periods of heavy rain, so be prepared to get muddy. Enjoy your walk!

We really enjoyed our walk through the Lea Valley walking trail after visiting nearby Springfield Park. There are loads of smaller paths through the scrubby area, surrounded by thick undergrowth and sprawling blackberry bushes. Plenty of good views around, as it gets quite open in some parts. Could get a bit windy on windy days but was fine when we went. There are a few spots where the homeless camp in amongst the scrub, so just be aware that you might be passing by someone's home if you do go off-track a bit, and consider how they might take it. We will definitely be back for another walk.

Only walked the Hackney stretch of this trail. Narrowboats moored along the banks of the river and street art make it very picturesque. Dog-friendliness: not ideal because there are so many cyclists, but we have managed all right.

This is a nice long parkland path that forms part of the Green Link walking route across London

A bit of a cloudy day when when I went about, if you like boats, you'll see plenty of them moored there, a lot of history about the place. Had a lovely walk 🤗
