I recently had the chance to film a wedding at Leal Vineyards and Winery, and it was such a beautiful experience. The grounds are expansive and incredibly photogenic, lush vineyards, scenic hills, and multiple ceremony and reception options that all feel thoughtfully designed. The on-site hacienda and getting-ready spaces have great natural light, which are perfect for filming prep moments. What stood out most to me was how well the venue is set up to keep the day flowing smoothly, with everything conveniently located but spaced out enough to create a real sense of atmosphere. If you’re looking for a wine country wedding venue that blends elegance with a relaxed feel, this place is definitely worth a visit.

We work at a lot of venues, and Leal Vineyards is one of our favorites to work at and capture for weddings! Their staff is extremely kind, talented and truly team players with other vendors outside of their own staff. They are a joy to work with and we know that you'll have an amazing wedding day when you book Leal Vineyards for your wedding venue. We are honored to have worked with them and would love to be back!

Such a GORGEOUS and amazing wedding venue!!!! Leal Vineyards is a breathtaking spot for your wedding. My husband and I highly recommend renting the Estate Homes; it was so convenient to be staying on the property with family and friends, especially for our rehearsal dinner! Not only that, but the Leal staff constantly makes sure everything is running smoothly from the time you arrive to the morning after your wedding. The venue and staff will make this the best day of your life! Also, because Leal is so pretty, you can save money on your own decor since the venue is already gorgeous enough! We had our ceremony at the Lavanda site, and reception in the Barrel Room, which is the perfect room to keep your guests cool during the warmer months! Also, the "LOVE" sign photos are taken at their new gorgeous ceremony site!! There are SO many gorgeous spots for photos (Lavender field, olive trees, Barrel Room, love sign, vineyard, etc!)

Beautiful winery and venue! So many gorgeous places on the property to get married! They also give their couples an amazing all inclusive service! I always love photographing weddings at Léal! So dreamy!

We absolutely enjoyed every aspect here. The bartender whipped me up a delicious made-up-on-the-spot non-alcoholic drink, since I was not drinking that day. We did buy a bottle of wine for later though. Our real enjoyment was the food and outdoor setting. Oh my, delicious and peaceful! The mushrooms we're absolutely to die for! Best anywhere so far!! (And we get around a bit) We will definitely go back, if just for the mushrooms, lol. The service was friendly and wine, food, and environment, all were wonderful!

Visited for a wedding and was met with the most gorgeous setting, beautiful dinner and kind and efficient staff! Some of the best wedding food we've had!

Google
Beautiful venue. We were at the site up the hill looking over the vineyard with sunset views. The place where the ceremony was turf grass. Along the sides were olive trees. The eating area in the back near the entrance was under overhead shades. Their restrooms were clean, modern with an air conditioner! Part of the wedding couple's package also included a rented beautiful home wherre everyone met to get ready for the wedding..

Yelp
The wedding of our dreams and then some. We recently had our wedding at Leal Vineyards, and we truly don't have the words to express how perfect everything was. From start to finish, the experience was flawless. The entire team made us feel supported, understood, and genuinely celebrated. Melissa was such a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process. She made everything seamless and stress-free. from walking us through the details to putting together our invoice with clarity and care. Her professionalism and kindness didn't go unnoticed, and we're so grateful for her support in bringing our day to life! A massive thank you to Kristen, our coordinator, a true star. Her calm presence, attention to detail, and incredible organization made everything seamless. She handled the behind-the-scenes magic so we could fully enjoy every moment. To Savannah and Holly from the design team: thank you for bringing our vision to life in the most breathtaking way. Every corner was beautifully curated and intentional from the florals to the tablescapes, it all felt straight out of a dream. And Chef Lance , we are still getting compliments on the food. It was phenomenal. Every bite was full of flavor, beautifully plated, and beyond what we ever expected from a wedding menu. To the rest of the team , the servers, bartenders, setup crew, and everyone behind the scenes, your kindness, professionalism, and energy did not go unnoticed. You made us and our guests feel so cared for, and you made the entire day flow without a single hiccup. Leal is not just a venue but an experience. A place where magic happens and memories are made. We will forever be grateful to this team for giving us a day that exceeded our greatest hopes. If you're considering Leal for your wedding, do it! It was the best decision we made. Not only the most magical experience for us but for everyone of our guests

Yelp
Stopped by and found the ambience terrific, however we went for the wine...& there were five on the tasting list... At a cost of $25 per person + tax = $5/splash & CASH IS NOT ACCEPTED Two whites - one was a double oaked Chardonnay and the other was a dry, but effervescent The three reds - A Pinot Noir with an after taste of anise... Said differently, one was described as jammy... But all three reds were disappointing as they tasted acidic... Not jammy I suppose I am used to a hearty, rich, fruit forward, robust bold Zin or Cab...if you are looking for that too, you may be as disappointed as I was. The ambience for tasting their wines was spoiled when the staff said sit in the open air patio, any where you want and we will serve you your flight of wines... THEN THEY JUMPED ONTO A GAS POWERED GOLF CART AND TOOK OFF FOR PARTS UNKNOWN - SPEWING GAS FUMES THROUGHOUT THE VERY SAME PATIO... AND FAILED TO SHOW UP TO SERVE THE NEXT TASTING SELECTION, CAUSING ME TO WALK BACK TO THE BAR TO TASTE THE NEXT WINE....NOOOOO TIP... YOU ALREADY OVERCHARGED US-PERIOD...

Yelp
A beautiful venue to host a special occasion. I attended a wedding there and the overall experience was super positive. Leal's staff were super friendly, skilled and offered an amazing services. Their catered food was so delicious (shout out for the creamy salmon and risotto); fresh and tasty. The view super nice with a special sunset. Clean area, good bathrooms, plenty of parking and easy access. Wheelchair entrance available.

Yelp
Had a great day enjoying Leal. A group of us came for a holiday get together. We came from all over, Europe, Petaluma, Gilroy and San Jose. We did a wine tasting and ordered some wine and charcuterie. It was great, we had a lovely time. Excellent service, great wine. I got a bottle of rose and the Pinot to go. They have a froze as well!! Will definitely come back!!

Yelp
This was my first time and there was a wedding so the nice young man at the gate told us they had a pop up where we could go wine tasting. We ended up purchasing 2 bottles of their Chardonnay. The nice workers provided us with an ice bucket and a carafe of ice water. I highly recommend coming here. Don't forget to take a picture in front of their adorable "LOVE" sign!

Yelp
Couldn't recommend Léal more for people looking at venues. My husband and I looked at 10 venues before we found Léal and as soon as we got to there we knew this was the place for us. Niamh was our tour guide and greeted us with champagne and made us feel so special and at ease. She helped us picked our date based on their availability and weather (we wanted our whole wedding outside) and from the moment we met her to our big day she continued to go over and beyond. Léal takes care of everything for you besides hair & makeup, photography/videography, and dessert. They made it so stress free for us and exceeded our expectations. Melissa was our wedding planner from Léal and she was always reachable and very thorough. My husband and I kept waiting for something to go wrong and we are still surprised to this day how easy everything was. We had a lot of people with special diets and Léal catered to every allergy without any complaint and the food was so good. They did a custom Ring for Champagne wall for us which is just a testament to their customer service and attention to detail. We also rented their Estate Homes which I highly recommend since they are onsite. Our bridal party was able to get ready onsite and stay onsite which made the logistics for everything so smooth. The people at Léal are amazing and made everything we wanted happen and more.

Agustin S.

Yelp
It was a great experience. Would be 5 stars, but they don't accept cash or apple pay, so it is an inconvenience to have to have your card manually inputted. Also, tips not being allowed electronically. Most people do not carry cash to leave tips to a well deserved worker. I hope they will upgrade to a more modern system to accept any type of payment in the future.

Yelp
So we went to the winery as a redo to Mother's Day outing. We went on a random Saturday in June. My sister, husband, niece (who is 22) and I came with my nanny and brother in law who was our designated driver. We looked online to find out if children were allowed. My son is 7 months old and obviously wouldn't be walking around but we still wanted to check. I also tried to call but couldn't get through to anyone. So we decided to take a chance since we have been to other wineries in Morgan Hill and Sonoma where we would see children present. We just wanted to have one glass of wine enjoy a couple snacks and then come back home. We arrived and it wasn't very busy. There was one large group of maybe 8 ladies and a couple there having a tasting. We found a spot and then a couple of us proceeded to the front to order our wine. It was our first time there which is what we told the young woman helping us so she was very kind to go over all the options and we put in our order...then another young woman comes running up and starting telling her "Did you see them?!" "Did you see them with the stroller?!" -Referring to my nanny and brother in law sitting at the table with my son. I immediately tell them both that they are with us. I let her know "that's my son, nanny and bother in law is there a problem? " The young woman changes her tone and explains that they don't allow anyone under 21. We apologize but do let them know that there aren't any signs and that there is nothing indicating that on the website. She just dismisses that. The woman that was initially helping us apologized and offered that we could drink our one drink and then we would have to leave. I just felt like the situation could have been handled differently. My husband was more irritated by the situation than I was. We won't be returning. I understand stand every winery has there one policies but there should definitely be some signs to indicate that. And the way the young woman ran up to tell her coworkers just seemed like she was trying to be dramatic about it.

Yelp
Disappointing birthday experience. Let me start off by saying that my boyfriend and I live more than one hour away from this winery and we could have chosen so many other wineries to celebrate my birthday, But we love Leal And have discussed having our future wedding at their venue. So I thought it would be a great idea to enjoy some wine there with my friends for my birthday. I have met Melissa (wedding coordinator), and also had great interactions with all the other staff I had met, until my birthdate. Everyone had been really sweet and kind so far. I had called about two months in advance to get information on making a reservation for my birthday at the Olive Grove for 8 people. I also came down and paid for a wine tasting for my friend and I so that we could try the wines and choose the bottles we wanted for my birthday. I believe Danielle was the name of the woman who was helping me initially and she was so lovely and very patient and informative Throughout my planning process, she had told me when I made the reservation that we can bring outside food as long as we purchase something from them as well like one charcuterie board or a flatbread pizza. I understood and I agreed. On the day of my celebration, my boyfriend and I arrived and I was speaking with an older woman (dark hair, I think blue eyes). She told us that if we went up the stairs to the Olive Grove we would see where our table was. We went up there and we did not find a table for eight, there was one table for sixteen people and one really large table for maybe thirty people by the bar. The woman was not friendly and had one of those passive aggressive personalities, like the type of person you would not want to be a manager because they enjoy upsetting people and do it with a smile. I was asking her where is our table and she said it's this one right here. We told her we only had a party of eight and she didn't seem to care that the table was set up for sixteen which was awkward. THEN, She tells me that I need to order food since I brought my own food and need to pay them $50 as a fee for bringing my own snacks. Mind you I brought crackers and cheese, not even on a board or fancy. Literally snacks! I wanted to stay in a good mood but I was feeling so disrespected by her horrible demeanor and the fact that she was smiling in a very passive aggressive way throughout this whole process. I started to share with her that when I made the reservation the agreement I had made with the winery was that I can bring my own food or snacks as long as I still purchase something. Before I could even finish my sentence she cut me off and said I needed to give her a credit card and pay the $50 fee and on top of that fifty dollar fee I could THEN order food if I wanted to. I Did not expect to be treated this way upon my arrival and didn't expect Leal to go back on their agreement with me and charge an additional fee, at random. When the woman cut me off she said they had an old manager before and they were under new management now. This whole situation would have felt a lot less sour not only if they kept their agreement but if she could have been kind about it and apologized for the misinformation, but that didn't happen. I gave her my credit card and she went down the stairs and left us with the table of 16 chairs. My boyfriend and I then moved the fire pits and the chairs our selves create a table of eight. I was wearing open toe heels doing this on my birthday. Wow, did not expect this. One person I have to give FIVE STARS to is a man named Juan, the operations director. He came over to check on us and turn on the fire pits and he was so warm and friendly and our whole group loved him so much. I wish he was the person I dealt with that day and not this other lady who really put such a sour taste in our mouths. Thank you for being the only kind staff member we dealt with that day! Your kindness did not go unnoticed. It's not about the $50 because clearly I had already spent over $350 just to have my event there and do a tasting it's more so that they didn't keep their agreement that I initially agreed to and also that I was treated really poorly and passive aggressively by that older lady. Not sure that I would go back there for an event in the future if I have to deal with her again. Sometimes the wrong people are placed in management positions.

Yelp
Beautiful location with beautiful views. Winery has several events for members and the public. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for something to do. Wine was delicious and music was great!

Yelp
I recently had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at Léal Vineyards in August of 2023. Just wanted to share a few of photos to help any couples who are currently venue searching for their wedding! My couple chose the Lavanda for their Ceremony + reception and you guys... the scenery is so beautiful here. There is no "bad" place to take a photo. I also love a venue with a big white tent so that was a plus! The staff at Léal were so easy to work with on the wedding day and together we helped our couple have a smooth & comfortable wedding day!

Yelp
This winery is close to our new home and definitely a place you can meet new people. Leal Winery quickly became place to have " girl time". Wine tasting with my husband is something we continue to enjoy. We recently experienced Vino and Vibe and that was an unforgettable time, we danced the entire time. Definitely will do it again. The "pop ups" have a romantic vibe /atmosphere as you are surrounded by olive trees. Our favorite is the tasting room and the great customer service we receive from Peggy Sue! She is always tentative, she always makes sure we are tasting not looking for her to bring our next pour. She continues to educate us on what we are tasting and making sure we stay hydrated. Peggy Sue keeps us updated on upcoming event. She is relatable, kind, funny and professional. We have no problem asking for her when we are there!

Daniel R.

Yelp
I stopped by Leal Winery today. There was a sign on the bar that said there was a 20 percent discount on wine during the holidays. When I asked about the discount I was told it was only through Christmas. Even after I asked, they didn't remove the sign. I purchased a flight and a magnum of wine. After drinking the wine I was told they didn't take cash, only credit card. I wish I had known that in advance. Here a sign or a notice would have been helpful since I didn't want to use my card. I hope someone from Leal will read this...at least take down the discounted wine sign.
google avatar

Andrea P.

Yelp
When looking for a wine tasting experience this is where you need to be. The wine meets every palette, and the ambience is a true gem. The topper is the staff, ask for Peggy Sue. We felt special as she shared her knowledge for each tasting & you can tell she loves what she does. Of course we joined the membership & came home with our favorites. Leal's also hosts amazing events with live music & yummy flat bread pizza.

Rita B.

Yelp
I love their wines and ambience but we were not given our refund on our tastings after buy 4 bottles of wine and spending over $400.00. we called and were assured we would get a correction on our credit card. It has not happened. we did work with two different servers so one cashing us out was probably confused. we just thought the problem was solved until we got our statement.

Yelp
We always have the most amazing time at Leal Winery Peggy Sue is usually our server we get great service and she knows her stuff! She is very friendly and bubbly makes the visit so fun. Can't wait to go back soon for a froze. Hope there are more events the rest of the year

Yelp
I can't say enough about this place! The staff is SUPER friendly and accommodating. The view is gorgeous. And, they allow pets! plenty of shade all around. It's just an overall cozy place to hang out!

Yelp
Rachel and Erin were the absolute best wedding coordinators. We had an amazing planning process and had all of our questions answered in a timely manner. Leal and the team made planning so easy since they have caterers, bar tenders, bakery, decorations, floral, etc. all in house, which made it so we didn't have to work with dozens of contacts. The day of the wedding was THE best day ever! Rachel was by our sides the entire time and she paid attention to every single detail there was. She also gave my parents everything at the end of the night so we didn't have to worry about anything, including my bouquet, shoes, baked goods, which we forgot about with everything going on. In addition, they had champagne toasts and appetizers for the bridal party after our ceremony was done, which was very thoughtful. The venue looked amazing in pictures and they allowed us to take pictures all over the venue so we could get different backgrounds. You really get what you pay for here!!

Yelp
Went here with some friends for a bday celebration.. this winery is super cute and the staff was super friendly. The sparkling wine and sparkling rose was delish y fav there, But the show runner hands down the is the Frose I highly recommend it, I'm so glad our host recommended the frose(). If you're in the Hollister area you should drop by there.. it's cute lots of photo opts and there are plenty of seating if you decide to hang out til they close as we did!

Yelp
Venue/grounds: Absolutely gorgeous, and picture perfect. We opted for Lavanda, which is their outdoor tented venue. If you are going for a effortless-yet-romantic vibe, this is it! Estate homes: If you're able to, I would highly recommend staying at the on-property homes for the weekend. The houses are spacious and the bridal suite is so beautiful! It was nice to wake up and not have to worry about traveling to another location. Food: If I'm being honest, I wouldn't say that the food is amazing. However, it's pretty good as far as "wedding food" goes. Would recommend the braised short ribs for sure! Decor: Nicole and her team seriously nailed it. I sent over some inspo pics and Nicole immediately understood my vision. The florals were gorgeous and I'm still obsessed (months later)! Coordinator: Shout out to Erin B. We loved working with her from the get-go! Erin is super professional and so much fun! Prior to being our coordinator, she was our Sales Executive...and we ultimately decided to sign with Leal because she made such a great impression!

Yelp
This review is for the Live, Love, Leal team that made our daughter and son-in-law's wedding celebration "the best day ever." We first connected with Erin in July 2019 and set a July 2020 wedding at the Hacienda de Leal. The pandemic had other ideas but their single point of contact approach made rescheduling to June 2021 so easy. By spring of this year it looked like the wedding would be on! Our meeting with Nicole at Deluxe, Design, Decor to review and revise our florals and other decor got us excited again. Nicole is so fun and creative. Her team created a floral design for the wedding that was simply beyond our expectations. And our expectations were high. She also helped us create a lounge area on the patio that was unique for photos and used by our guests long after the dancing had stopped. As we got closer to the date our wedding coordinator Rachel and her team became indispensable. So organized, professional, responsive and FUN! There is no need for bridezilla or momzilla with Rachel in charge. She is just one step ahead at all times! From leaving a bottle of wine at my door each night...relax, mom...to just seamlessly executing a wedding that multiple guests said was the best they have ever attended. No review would be complete without complimenting the culinary staff and the DJ. Every bite from appetizers to dinner to desserts to late night pizza was delicious and devoured by our guests. And the dance party...well you had to be there. Thank you to everyone at Live, Love Leal who had any part in this very, very special day.

Yelp
Mine and my partners friends held a small wedding during this pandemic at this establishment where they had guests stay the night. I have to say, it was absolutely gorgeous. The staff helped them put this together at the very last minute and were extremely attentive to details. It was such a beautiful vineyard, and very quiet with minimal distractions. It would be a wonderful place to visit for anyone going on vacation, or holding a wedding or event and holds my heartfelt recommendation.

Yelp
On June 16 our group of 4 drove down to Leal to pick up our quarterly selection as members. Maddy poured our tasting selections and answered all of our questions, adding information that greatly enhanced an already pleasurable experience. We've been going here for ~15 years, never had a bad experience! 5 stars plus!
google avatar

Yelp
It was a no brainer to have my daughters wedding here. As soon as she stepped out of the car she said "We don't have to look any further, this is the place"! Their all inclusive venue stands second to none. It includes an on-site Wedding Coordinator, a Decor Coordinator (floral arrangements, etc.), the food catering, a Cake Baker, Estate homes (3) so wedding party can stay on Vineyard grounds, obviously the venue (Lavanda) was our choice out of 4 the venues and of course some of the best wines on the west coast! No stressing trying to coordinate everything!!! Wine tasting is fun and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Leal is our winery of choice! Highly recommend Leal for wine tasting and weddings!!!

Yelp
This review is long overdue. We were incredibly fortunate to have our wedding celebration at Léal Vineyards in Hollister. Rachel and her team were absolutely phenomenal from day 1. I first contacted Rachel at the end of July 2021 for a 2 day, 3 event Indian wedding with close to 200 guests at Leal in mid October 2021. Although this was a big task on short notice Rachel and her team expressed total confidence that they would be able to pull it off. This was not bravado, they truly delivered on everything they promised. And more! We had some reservations on whether or not Leal could help us host an Indian wedding because it didn't seem evident from the website and other reviews that they had had much experience with multi day Indian celebrations especially within 3 short months. However, Rachel and her team expressed confidence in being able to pull this off and they truly delivered on everything they promised. And more! During the planning process, Rachel was incredibly warm and professional, and a true pleasure to work with. She is very clear about what she and her team can provide and worked with us to bring in vendors to provide Indian elements (like traditional decor and food) to make our wedding vision possible. While we were initially worried that the venue had not previously hosted many multi-day Indian celebrations, this was not an issue. Rachel's team was more than ready for the task. They are true professionals. It is not hyperbole to say that we would not have been able to pull off this wedding without Rachel and her team. They executed at every step while we refined our vision. We could not have asked for a more capable and kind event coordinator. This review would not be complete without acknowledging the work of Deluxe + Design + Décor. This is Leal's internal design team, run by Nicole. The close working relationship between Nicole and Rachel was a huge plus for us as it greatly limited our role as a middle man. Furthermore, Nicole's excitement to tackle the large and unique challenge of a multi-day Indian wedding was truly spectacular. While we knew what we did not like, we had a hard time putting together a clear picture of what we wanted each event to look like. Nicole spearheaded the design of every event, patiently taking our feedback and doing an amazing job on short notice.

Yelp
$27.50 to Wine taste, in Hollister Come on! Did't even provide right glasses for each varietal Very cold in tasting room not heated $50 bottle if wine This ain't Napa or Lodi Not going back

Yelp
My best friend just got married here and wow wow wow was this venue amazing! The team here is incredible and when they tell you they'll do something, they always deliver. Deneice and Luis were two standout people who took the time to make sure everything went without a hitch. The venue has three estates that guests and the bridal party stayed at and they were so beautiful! I will say that some of the things in the house didn't work such as the wine fridge and that beautiful bathtub. The houses made for a perfect after party for wedding guests. This place is a photographers dream, so many places for a good photo op. It made things so easy for the wedding photographer! The food catered here, the drinks, and the cake were all so great! So organized. And as stressful as wedding planning can be, I imagine this place takes care of it all.

Yelp
Loved every single wine I tried! That was a first for me, I was pleasantly surprised! Beautiful vineyard too, we could see they were doing a wedding rehearsal outside as we were wine tasting in the patio. Pet friendly as well :)

Yelp
Today we celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary where we had our wedding reception. I can't say enough good things about Leal Vinyards. This place is definitely near and dear to our hearts. We had the Wine Thru today where we ordered the braised short ribs with wine and the chicken Marsala. Both meals were cooked to perfection and the Carnival wine paired just right. I'm soooo glad we were able to enjoy our meal at the olive grove. We were early so it felt like we had the whole vineyard to ourselves. Awesome panoramic view. Perfect getaway especially during this sip order. I'm glad we spent our 5 year where it all started. The lady that helped us with our order today was very friendly. We will definitely be back!!!! This place is a hidden gem. Tip: order online and just drive in snd pick it up during their normal business hours. It's that easy. I highly recommend the carnival with your meal but all wines here are superb. I highly recommend the Godsend wine. Unfortunately you can't get it with your meal. We had some during our wedding and I remember rrrreally enjoying it.

Yelp
Cute spacious property. No wonder people get married here! This review is for wine tasting only. I am happy that wine tasting is open. People follow rules here, wear masks while waiting to wine taste and keep their distance. The wine servers all wear masks and share about the wine tasting and order of wine set. The tasting fee is $25 and you carry the wine set to any open outdoor seating or lounge patio to enjoy. I am a wine snob and NOT a fan of their wine. I did like one, the "Cabernet Franc". The rose was too sour and the other pour had some cork in it (they just opened a new bottle and I unfortunately got the residue in my tasting glass) and the Cabernet Sauvignon tasted like "tart"- sediment on the bottom. You definitely have to take some pics at the large LOVE sign in front.

Yelp
This place is beautiful! We were here for a wedding this past weekend at Olea which is up the hill and it was gorgeous. The ceremony overlooks the vineyard below and the entire turf is made of artificial grass. My daughter was one of the flower girls and she had a great time running around. The big love sign makes for a great photo. The food was also really good. Buffet style with braised short ribs, chicken, and potato gratin with salad was delicious. I heard from the wedding couple that Leal is a one stop shop so you don't have to look for outside vendors. The only downside is that it's in Hollister. Hollister is at least 10 degree hotter than San Jose which is 10 degree hotter than SF. Also, there are lots of mosquitoes up here. Got bit a few times.

Yelp
Wine tasting with family was the BEST! I couldn't wait to join the wine club for extra celebrations throughout the year.

Yelp
Friday arrival, somewhat warm but overcast, Peggy Sue, yes, her real name, educated our wine starved party of four on the intricate flavors and aromas of Leal's whites, reds, and sparkling options. Late for our dinner reservation because we didn't want to leave. Great way to start the new year!

Yelp
TLDR: Wine barista made mistakes entering in credit card information on a large order which caused the card to be declined. She thought it was because there were not enough funds on the card and gave us attitude because of it. The next card rang up perfectly, but she continued to give us attitude. Take your business elsewhere. Wine was sub-par at best. My husband and I visited yesterday to celebrate some life milestones. I was even more eager to visit because my maiden last name is Leal so it added to the excitement. When we arrived, we had called ahead knowing that they didn't have wine taskings available, but we were ready to taste a few to select a bottle to enjoy on the premises. The blonde young lady with orange glitter press on nails helped us with our wine selection (I am only giving a description because she never told us her name). I expressed my excitement to be there and that I would be wanting to ship some wine as well as merchandise to my family for gifts. She said there would be no problem shipping to let her know when we were ready, and she could help assist us. We made ourselves comfortable on one of the outdoor couches and enjoyed our bottle of wine. When were ready to leave, the young lady was nowhere to be seen and proceeded to place our order with another young brunette behind the counter who also did not tell us her name. Once we selected all our items the blond lady showed up and the brunette asked her for assistance regarding shipping. I was asked to write down the shipping address and to provide a credit card which I did. The two young ladies went to the back to place the order as my husband and I waited at the main bar. Fifteen minutes past, and the brunette came out and asked if I could write down the billing address as the purchase was not going through. I gladly wrote the information down on the sheet of paper underneath the shipping address that I had previously wrote down. The brunette then took the information to the back to give to the blonde. Five min later the blonde came out from the back and handed me my card saying that she tried to charge it three times, but the purchase was not going through. I assured her there should be no problem as it was a new card and I had just used it for a smaller purchase and had no problem. She remarked in a snarky way saying that the total was over $400, insinuating that I could not afford it. To avoid a scene, my husband pulls out one of his cards and told her to use his. She then proceeded to the back and two minutes later came back out with a receipt in hand. The blonde placed the receipt in front of us and handed my husband his card back. She asked us to review the information to make sure it was correct. Come to find out, my phone number and the billing address were incorrect, even after I had shared that information with her. I told her that it was no wonder that my card didn't go through, all the information was incorrect except my email address and shipping information. She replied saying that she could correct all the other information in the system, but all is fine as long as the email and shipping address is OK. We then left feeling insulted and unsatisfied and on top of that I missed out on card points. I doubt she corrected the information, and we were so disturbed how she insinuated that I couldn't afford to make an expensive purchase, but it turned out that it was all her fault for not entering the correct information into their system. My husband and I will never return to the winery ever again because of the awful experience. We hope this review is helpful for anyone that is even thinking of visiting here.

Yelp
First time visitors and Leal did not disappoint! Beautiful venue, scenery and friendly staff. During our tasting we got to talking with our wonderful server, Peggy Sue, and she recommended coming back for Vino & Vibes. We bought tickets and had so much fun! And let's not forget about the Frose (adult slushies)! So delicious! Highly recommended Leal.

Yelp
Leal is not one of my favorites, but is a nice facility to bring friends to. They have a cabernet called godsend that is too strong for my palate, but others claim it is awesome.

Yelp
Leal continues to be amazing! From our spectacular wedding there in June of 2022 to the recent events they have had there Vino & Vibes, they continue to impress us and bring fun times with joyful smiles. The staff there is exceptional! To name a few Juan, Mellissa, Maddy, and all the staff there are the best and really treat us like family! We are always excited to see them and in turn they are just as excited to see us! Thank you Dominick and Jazmine for sharing the great photos you took of us at the most recent Vino & Vibes! We can't wait for the next event and for you both to take some more amazing photos to capture our cherished moments! Thank you again to our Leal Family!

Yelp
Delicious wine, great ambiance, outstanding service from Peggy. She went above and beyond to make our group feel welcome, and did an excellent job explaining all the different vintages and offerings that the tasting room has.

Yelp
There aren't words to explain how amazing the Leal team is. Every member helped make our dream wedding a reality. My now husband proposed on the first week of Shelter In Place (March 19, 2020). I immediately began the search for our perfect venue. I found Live Love Leal through an ad in The Knot magazine. I had browsed other websites but couldn't stop thinking of their Hacienda location. Wrongfully believing COVID would be gone by fall we wanted to book our wedding for September 2020. We took a tour of the venue and fell in love! The Spanish style architecture, olive grove, lavender and grape vines stole our hearts. Not to mention our planner Rachel. We quickly knew this was the right place for us. Unfortunately, 2020 had other plans. As many other couples had to reschedule the Leal Team took it in stride. They understood and made the reschedule process SEAMLESS. Over a couple meetings we worked with Rachel at Live+Love+Léal to create the vision, Nicole at Deluxe+Design+Decor for flowers/decorations, Angie at Live+Love+Léal bakery, and the DJ with Léal Entertainment. Thanks to this team we had the best day of our lives. Not a single thing went wrong (thank you Rachel). The food was amazing (we had a chef in our group and she had raving reviews). I've been to a lot of weddings and while most of those DJs have rough transitions, our DJ was literally perfect. He hit the nail on the head on what or party wanted. The entire bridal party and I danced straight through the entire event. The cake was perfection amplified. Not only was our beautiful but the guests couldn't get enough! My friends and family all agree this was the best wedding they have ever gone too. In fact I wish I could get married again and again to relive this magical day. If this venue is something you are considering, stop now and just book it. You will NOT regret it.

Yelp
Our Daughter and Son in Law just had their wedding at Leal Vineyards. When we first went to take the tour we were greeted by Tiffany and were very impressed....we signed the contract right away. Thank you again Tiffany. Our wedding coordinator was Erin, we got to know each other quite well through the 12 month process! I can't speak highly enough of Erin, she did an outstanding job, everything throughout the day and evening was flawless. I look forward to seeing her smiling face when I'm there for wine tastings in the future. Thank you again Erin!! Our florist thru DDD was Nicole, she took the vision and created beautiful floral arrangements throughout, ...Thank You again Nicole for everything!! We opted to have the ceremony at the Beautiful Lavanda location and we had the reception at the Barrel Room. All the guests spoke so highly of the venue, it really is such a beautiful area. We used several golf carts, thank you Denise and the Leal Staff for running us around all over. We also rented the Tuscan House for the weekend, the rehearsal dinner was there and the girls all stayed the night before the wedding and all had make up and hair done the morning of. It really worked out perfect, so convenient and shows beautifully, plenty of room for everyone. DJ Darren was very professional and announced everything with clarity, thank you again!! Luis and the Leal Staff did an outstanding job with the set up being exactly what our daughter wanted. The food was perfect, thank you to the chefs! The decorations, the desserts, the bartenders...everything was perfect! Thank you again to Erin, Tiffany, Nicole, Denise, Darren, Luis and the Entire Leal staff for your part in creating a magical wedding for our Daughter and Son in Law.

Yelp
Y'all this venue is GORGEOUS for a wedding! The rolling hills with vineyards, romantic pond with flowers, olive grove, lavender rows- seriously what more could you ask for? And the getting ready house is perfect for photos! So fresh, white, and clean. Add in the super sweet venue gals & staff, and you've got a dream wedding. I can't wait to visit again! :)

Yelp
So, this is the first vineyard I've ever been to that excludes families. No one under 21 allowed on property. This is crazy. And frankly pretty rude. We just wanted to get a bottle or do a testing outside. And NO, we were asked to leave. What's up with that. Meh. 1-star for this place

Yelp
Really gorgeous winery with a tasting room on the left side of the property and barrel room where they have wedding receptions and a beautiful outdoor Venus also for weddings on the right side of the facility. We were recommended to check this winery out by their sister winery in Morgan Hill - MOHI which we love! We enjoyed our tasting and tried their god send which was good too however we ended up purchasing their brut sparking champagne which was delicious and very unique. Had hints of pear and apple which was refreshing and an easy drink especially on a warm day. In terms of their reds we enjoyed them however we prefer MOHIs. And the customer service was lovely too.. the women were very knowledgeable and pleasant. They got busy but kept track of which wines we were on. Really worth a visit

Yelp
Leal is in my opinion, the Disneyland of Hollister. My husband and I have been coming to Leal for over 3 years now, we first discovered this MAGICAL location back in 2017 when we were venue shopping for our wedding. It was the first venue we looked at and after visiting two other venues we KNEW that nothing would compare to the Beauty, cost, and all inclusiveness that Leal has. We booked TWO years in advance just to secure this place and let me tell you our wedding did NOT disappoint. Their staff, day of our wedding and throughout the entire process made our lives stress free and allowed us to be simply excited to get married. Flash forward to today, we recently spent our first wedding anniversary at Leal and the lovely coordinator Rachel gave us the opportunity to enjoy a private wine tasting in the Olive Grove no questions asked! This team will go above and beyond to make your day and wedding dreams come true! The tasting associates are equally friendly and connect with each of the guests. Leal has some of the best wine around in my personal opinion and can share the table with any highly rated Napa Valley wine! My husband and I can be found here any given weekend enjoying a wine tasting or a bottle but even more so the peaceful views of their property. I would HIGHLY recommend stopping by here for a tasting or if you have an event!! They have 4 different venue locations to utilize on their property all equally beautiful you may have a hard time choosing just One!
