Stopped in last night for a late dinner after wandering around Lyndale Ave. We parked across the street in the free lot shared with Baba's-- super convenient! The restaurant is seat-yourself style, and we grabbed a booth near the door. The table needed a quick wipe-down, so we took care of that ourselves. It took a bit for a waitress to greet us, but since we weren't in a rush, it wasn't a big deal as we were just enjoying our Friday evening.
The 2 sided menu here has lots of options. We decided to start with a few appetizers because they offered many of our favs: mozzarella sticks, jalapeño poppers, and fried pickle spears. Honestly, the apps were the highlight for me -- crispy, hot, and satisfying. After that, we ordered the 10" Tower of Beezza specialty pizza. Unfortunately, the pizza was not good for me. It tasted frozen to me, and I'd skip pizza next time, but come back for the apps and probably try something else from the menu. However, I wouldn't seek a visit here.
Our waitress was nice and mentioned it was only her second day-- a little nervous as she was alone but understandable. I appreciated her honesty and transparency, and thought she did a great job.
Overall, a decent spot for apps (I'd say no to the pizza) and a chill vibe.
