Leaside Manor Suites & Executive Apartments

Beautiful place to go when you need time to relax. My partner booked this for our anniversary and it was by far the best sleep I ever had. The bed in the Parker Suite was so so comfortable. Breakfast was brought to our room by friendly staff. Would definitely come back here again!

This property is an absolute gem. A wonderful historic home that’s been converted into beautiful and comfortable suites. Loved every minute of my stay. Breakfast delivered to our room was wonderful. ||Check in was super easy and the staff accommodated everything we asked for. ||We were able to walk back here every evening from downtown (George st & Water st bars and restaurants) -though it is about a 25 minute walk. |Ubers to town or back were around 10 dollars per way for a general estimate. |Excellent location, beautiful quiet street. Super cool grounds. Will be back for sure!

This place has four stories with outside narrow stairs. There are stairs going to the main level from the driveway that are at a 45 degree angle and hugely dangerous. The rooms are tiny with no chairs. There was a 14 inch round glass high table with two stools but the stool collapsed to normal size making the table at chin level. Breakfast was good.

The staff were incredible. The accommodations were nice but there some minor flaws including the toilet wasn’t working properly and the remote for the television was not working. The breakfast was very impressive. Overall I would recommend Leaside to anyone looking to stay in St.John’s.

I was looking forward to giving a positive review of the Leaside until my last night. The owners don't live on site and the B&B is staffed by people who are paid to work there. The breakfast ladies were especially lovely and the food was great. My last night the owner held a graduation party for a family member in the room beneath my room. It was loud all evening and when I was ready to go to bed it was impossible to sleep. When things finally seemed to quiet down, the staff started moving furniture. It was a terrible night. Not the usual quiet B&B experience I am used to. I feel like I paid for someone else's good time. The owners should never have rented rooms close to the party.

Everything was incredible! The room was clean, spacious and set up beautifully. The staff were lovely and the whole place had an antique, cozy feel. I would never get tired of this place! Looking forward to going back!

The staff had been amazing. Booking online caused some problems but the staff accommodated us immediately. Extremely helpful in finding places to visit or places to eat||The breakfast was good and the rooms were very clean.||I would have no issues staying here again or recommending to anyone who was coming to St. John's.

The house is a lovely old mansion with very helpful staff. They were friendly and helped in every way they could. Thank you for that. Unfortunately, they are not always there and that's why when my sister and her husband arrived from the airport at 11 pm, no one was there and no one answered the emergency telephone. I had arrived earlier that afternoon so I could let them in and we looked for an empty room. Other guests had the same experience. |My room was big and comfortable. But, the heating was so loud that I had to turn it off. Then I woke up because I was cold. |The breakfast was alright if you aren't allergic to eggs because something was made with eggs every day. I'm allergic. Difficult for vegetarians and people with lacto intollerance. No almond or oat milk. So breakfast was always a challenge for me. But it was nice too speak to the other guests and exchange ideas and experiences. The bus stop is a couple of minutes away and they have enough parking spaces.
