Always so delicious! Rob was our server and was AMAZING! Seriously one of the best experiences we’ve ever had here and frankly anywhere. Super friendly, aware, and fast. Can’t wait to go again and eat some more yummy ice cream!!

Absolutely delicious! Leather by Family Creamery is a true gem. Their ice cream is incredibly creamy, rich, and full of flavor, and the sundaes are on a whole different level beautifully made and absolutely mouthwatering. Every visit feels like a treat, and you can tell they use high quality ingredients with a lot of care. If you love amazing ice cream and unforgettable sundaes, this place is a must try.

Heard about Leatherbys reputation for years. Finally was on vacation with one nearby and decided to try it. Pros: 1. Sundaes are large and fun for the experience of it. Each could easily be shared by 3-4 people Cons: 1. Their homemade caramel and chocolate sauce were very underwhelming. I was expecting higher quality & flavor with a thick rich consistency 2. Ice cream had good creamy consistency but I could hardly taste the banana flavor in their banana wafer variety 3. Service was slow. No one helped us for quite a while after being seated and no one checked on us after receiving the food 4. Fries were bland and severely unseasoned 5. Restaurant was dingy was floor was terribly dirty All in all, I don't think we will return.

Came in with a gift card that I had received for Christmas. Me and my girlfriend frequently come here for ice cream. We came inside and waited about 5 minutes to be seated which isn’t abnormal. We then got seated and the lady walked right away and didn’t say anything else. We waited 15 or so minutes for someone to even bring water out to us and take our order. The food showed up about 10 minutes later and the server seemed to be in a big rush and quickly zoomed off before I could even get a straw for my shake. After about 30 minutes me and my girlfriend waited for the check and for some boxes and cups. Finally they brought it over. I went to pay and gave the lady my gift card. She swiped it and prints out a receipt. She then hands me the gift card and says nothing. I wait and she looks up and goes you’re good to go now. It startled me because I wasn’t told my remaining balance or given my receipt. I’m not impressed with this place they have all teenage employees and no one ever seems professional trained and no adult managers around. Won’t be coming here anymore. Take your business elsewhere

I’ve been coming to Leatherby’s since the 1980s, and it continues to be one of my favorite spots for ice cream and great memories! Their Swiss Milk Chocolate milkshake is hands-down my favorite shake. The combination of creamy ice cream, malt, and rich chocolate chips creates a flavor that’s simply delicious. Leatherby’s always delivers when it comes to high-quality ice cream, and the nostalgic atmosphere makes each visit special. Whether you’re looking for a classic shake or another sweet treat, this is the place to go!

This is one of the last true ice cream parlors around. The ice cream is amazing. They have unique flavors and the portion sizes are not for the faint. They also have a small food menu, but nothing to be excited about. The place is always packed and proof of the amazing ice cream. They are famous for the hot fudge and caramel that you can take home. If you like ice cream at all, definitely worth a visit. The Banana Foster is amazing!

Wow, this was so tasty! The ice cream and toppings were very flavorful! I wish it were a little quieter in there somehow. It was very busy when we went there on a Monday night. The chocolate hot sauce is really yummy and makes me want to have some right now as I type this!! 😃 You can add all sorts of toppings or sides to your pleasing. Lots of options for kids and adults. I wish this place were a little bit more lighting-conscious. Right now it is just a bunch of fluorescent lights. But if I owned an ice cream shop I would make it more inviting with the lighting. A little more formal feeling. You can buy ice cream cartons from their freezer to take home with you!

This is my first time at this location since the other location in Taylorsville was packed! We only waited 20-30 min for our table on a Saturday evening. Their service here was great! Our server was very nice and sweet. We'd definitely come here again! We love their cheese fries and ice cream!
