So I live in London. People in Copenhagen are very proud of their food scene because of Noma etc etc. And New Nordic cuisine is basically everywhere now it's almost derivative in nature. But my biggest gripe of it all is: Nordic food in London tastes better to me than Nordic food in Denmark (of course this is a broad stroke of lumping Icelandic, Swedish, Norwegian, etc food altogether with Danish). I had excellent service this meal. Very attentive and very patient. The ambience was fine too, the typical bare bones woody feel of Scandinavia. The food was also pretty good, but nothing jumped out as excellent to me, other than the bread basket - oh my god Danish pastry is amazing. However for this sort of food, I could get it at a far more value-for-money range in London.

Not impressive. Charcuterie plate was good, especially the duck liver pate. Main corse was ok, the main problem I had with it is that the meat based and the vegeterian option are exactly the same plate wit mushrooms rather than meat. For me this lack in creativity brought the whole experience down couple of grades compared with other restaurants in town. The dessert was very good and well presented, we liked it a lot. Service is pretty good and location is small but not noisy and very convenient since it is very central

Italian inspired restaurant with a set menu of either 5 or 7 courses with great service. We chose the 7 course one. Started great with homemade bread and mushroom butter, scallops and salmon, all of which tasted delicious. Then mushroom soup followed, a little more average. The two mest dishes, braised pork and duck, were almost completely tasteless. Seriously lacking in salt and pepper. While not bad, they just felt average compared to the excellent openers. Competes in league with Radio and others like it. Good, but a little bit on the expensive side.

Great experience. Excellent staff and delicious food. Would go back! Smoked salmon just melts in your moth so delicate yet so flavorful. Bravo!

Everything about our dinner in Leaven was just LOVELY. The food was holy, and I totally mean it. It was not just tasty but interesting too. The wine was perfect, and we were even asked our favorites for the final dessert pairing. Very well thought. The homemade cherry ice cream covered with chocolate and lavender was delicious. Our server took the time to explain everything, and he was friendly to whatever request or questions we had. The price was more than acceptable for this unforgettable experience. Certainly, we will be back again.

We came here in the first few days of opening, so in their defense, they were still putting the finishing touches on the menu. It was a set course menu with 4 different courses and we did a wine paring. The staff were very friendly, and the feel of the space is very hyggelig. I especially liked the downstairs bar area where you can sit and watch the kitchen work, which is always fun. I was excited to hear about the concept, which they loosely described as small plates, nordic inspired dishes with nordic ingredients, but used in a south american way. I am hoping that with time, they will find their own identity, but as of now, I think the al a carte prices are a bit high for the area. I have to say though, the Smokey the Pear cocktail with Mezcal is a must try. The course menu is a good deal, 4 courses for 400 DKK.
