Leavenworth Reindeer Farm

Visited the Leavenworth Reindeer Farm this weekend and it was a great experience. Learned alot and had fun being so close to reindeer! The staff are friendly and so knowledgeable. They have a gift shop. Food and drinks. Firepits to warm up next to. And lots of photo opportunities. Definitely recommend! Great for all ages!

Such a fun experience! An activity that anyone of any age will enjoy. Kids or not, I recommend visiting the farm for the atmosphere and obviously to see the Reindeer! We paid for the tour and I was pleasantly surprised how well organized and educational it was. Feeding and petting the reindeer was a highlight. They appear healthy, well cared for, and have enough space to move away from guests If they need it. The staff are very friendly and are willing to take great photos of you and your family. They are kind and very professional. The Barn/Gift shop is well thought out and I loved the incorporation of antique and historical items. Overall; I was very impressed with the organization and atmosphere of the Farm. Make a reservation in advance as the tours sell out often!

Highly recommend this family friendly experience! We visited late November, beautiful weather and Santa was there. It is clear how much the staff cares for the animals and the educational element was great. The animals are so sweet and magical. The shop is adorable and has great souvenir options. There is food onsite as well.

Plan ahead because this is a popular attraction for a reason, and the time slots sell out fast! The check in and flow at the farm was so efficient. We loved the introductory talk and video before we got to meet the darling reindeer. It's honestly so well done. The reindeer have super soft mouths and are eager to meet you... and the little treats you bring on for them! The only problematic part of the visit is that I now want a reindeer of my own 💕🦌

What a fun experience! We were in the “Cupid’s Corner,” and we really enjoyed feeding and petting the reindeer. The staff are so knowledgeable and helpful - we learned so much! The farm also has camels, bunnies, chickens, and a really sweet calico cat. We had a wonderful time!

Truly a magical experience! I recently went to Leavenworth with a small group and I will admit we booked the Reindeer Farm as our extra day activity, and in all honesty, this experience ended up being the entire groups favorite and most memorable experience! The farm was a lot more chill and relaxing than we anticipated. You get a good amount of time hands on with the Reindeer and we never felt rushed or hurried. It also never felt so crowded that my group didnt get one on one reindeer time, even visiting in peak season. Cupid's corner was quite a large area and still a "full experience", my kiddo adored every moment of it. The staff was all extremely nice and helpful, and jumped in to take pictures and help guide us through the best reindeer experience. Get there a bit early or plan to stay a little late to explore the waiting area. During the holiday time, they have the absolute best Santa we have seen! My daughter is shy, and loved meeting and hanging out with Reindeer Farm Santa. She got some sleigh pictures with Santa but also got to spend some candid time walking around with Santa and that made her experience feel so special and magical. She always works up the courage to talk to Santa after her meet and greet session is over, then is a little sad she can't run back up to him, to tell him what she wants for Christmas. But she actually got that special bonding moment here. So kudos to the absolute best Santa out there!! They also have several fire pits, igloo domes, some farm animals, a hot food stand, and many unique souvenir options with the gift shop area divided into fun themed easy to shop areas. I definitely say the reindeer farm is a must do when visiting Leavenworth and the family owned operation here, knows how to keep such a fun and unique experience safe, yet personal and welcoming. We will definitely be back!

Cute! They have reindeer sausages there (make of that what you wish), but, spoiler warning, they taste exactly like beef. They are also expensive. The experience is short-ish, I recommend booking in the morning so the reindeer are hungry and engaging. Once they are fed — most of them would be having rest. The chance of you interacting with a reindeer in the wild is low, so it’s a nice opportunity and a way to spend time with beautiful animals.

We have returned again and again over the years, and every visit feels just as magical as the first. There is something deeply special about this place. It is peaceful, joyful, and grounding in a way that stays with you long after you leave. The reindeer are clearly loved and beautifully cared for. Being able to interact with them up close never feels rushed or commercial. It feels respectful, intentional, and heartfelt. The staff are consistently kind, patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely happy to share this experience. You can feel their love for what they do. This farm has become part of our family memories. It is one of those rare places that brings everyone into the present moment. Laughter, wonder, calm, and connection all exist here at once. No matter what is happening in life, time seems to soften when we are here. If you are looking for something meaningful, memorable, and truly special, this is it. We will keep coming back for as long as we are able. It is more than a visit. It is a feeling we treasure. Highly, wholeheartedly recommended.
