I really enjoyed my experience here. The ambiance is cool, with tall ceilings and lots of natural light, and you sit facing the barista and can watch him work. They have several bean options to choose from, and I went with a Mexican bean that was delicious. The presentation is nice too. You can purchase beans and other coffee items as well. The service was friendly and accommodating. Definitely a place to visit and somewhere I’ll come back to.

I was very interested in visiting this cafe and seeing how the Japanese are brewing coffee. The result was amazing! Despite not being a producing country, their V60 methods are what make it worthwhile. Don't forget to visit this cafe. The service is excellent !!! 10 stars to the entire team!

Leaves was such a treat to visit. The whole experience is steeped in tradition and craft. My friends told me that the coffee situation in Japan just hits different, and wow were they right. I had the Mexico Latte, which had a wonderful balance of this smooth, nutty flavor from the coffee and the rich creaminess from the milk. When the shop opens (if you're there before opening), you are seated on a long bench up against the front window. In front of you is a cute little bar stool (where your coffee will sit). Customers go up one at a time to order their beverage, then sit back down to wait it to arrive. The "slowness" of this process helps you to appreciate every detail of the experience - watching them create the beverages, the industrial flourishes of the store, the matching shop coats the whole team is wearing, and the beautiful flavors built into every coffee. In a world where everything is fast and convenient, and the idea of "living in the moment" and "contentment" is lost, this is a refreshingly welcomed experience. Please make a visit here when you can. You won't be sorry. 🤘

Now this place is truly some place special. One of the absolute best specialty coffee experiences I have had in my life. The staff is so attentive and friendly and all of the baristas are very knowledgeable. Expertly-brewed and perfectly balanced filter coffee and very well-made espresso-based milk beverage with an extremely smooth and silky texture. Milk temperature was perfect as well. There‘s a very large choice of different coffees to choose from: countries of origin, processing methods, and so on. Will definitely return to taste the more funky choices such as the anaerobics. From an architecture and interior design lover‘s point of view, this Café looks wonderful both on the outside and from the inside as well. There‘s a large selection of beans to take home as well as some equipment and merchandise.

One of the best cafés in Tokyo — and the only one in Asia to make it into the top 20 roasters list. The beans are of excellent quality, and the drinks are crafted with great precision. The flavors are great, though the value for money isn’t the best.BTW,No need to wait for a table if you go around noon.

Well, it’s a unique experience. We waited for one hour. Surely the coffee tasted just great! The representation, and the overall ambience were top-notch. Bought 3 bags of beans. In the future, would just pop in for the beans. It’s possible that they can accommodate buying beans without having to wait in line.

Taste coffee here and you will like it. Extracted wonderfully. The milk brew was a surprise too. So aromatic with bright acidity. Just two points to be aware. 1) the queue is super long for standard coffee joint and 2) expensive when comparing to other places. But I love it here. If I have to spend this much for coffee in Tokyo, it would definitely be Leaves and not Glitch.

Amazing coffee. You can tell they take their craft seriously by how caring they are in preparing each drink. The staff are so friendly and willing to help you make a decision as well (the inside area is very cozy but you can also sit outside, which is lovely in the sun)

Yelp
BOTTOM LINE: A truly elevated coffee experience at an elevated price. Is it worth paying ~2,000 JPY (and more) for a pour over? I'm gonna say 'yes', but probably not for most people. Part of it, of course, is the quality of their beans and how they roast it (it's excellent, I've rarely tasted a Colombian bean so full bodied yet smooth!), but another part, also of course, is the theatre of preparing your order (they use a leveller!). I also observed the baristas sample every cup they made for quality control, and toss one out if it wasn't satisfactory. This is not a place you go to as you're rushing to work, but really a place you to for the purpose of having a truly great cup of coffee made for you. *Although I can't comment on Glitch, FWIW, anecdotal accounts from local coffee lovers claimed Glitch - for what it was - was "overpriced" compared to Leaves. Make of that what you will, haha.

Yelp
A cafe roasting their own coffee beans just a short walk away from Asakusa. Light roast seems to be their specialty. A variety of single origin coffees available. Always have a few options available. Also does espresso coffees and they taste also very nice! Great baristas and fun atmosphere.

Yelp
Sugoi! Very creamy Macchiato, wish it had little more character but still a very good coffee!!!
