Lebadang Memory Space

Visited Lebadang Memory Space on a Thursday afternoon with a group of coworkers. The architecture and setting are nice, but overall the experience was disappointing. The ticket price is quite high at 200k VND for international visitors and 120k VND for locals, especially considering the entire place can be explored in about 30 to 45 minutes unless you are very deeply interested in the art. What made the visit particularly unpleasant was the behavior of one staff member. Our group got excited about a painting and we were simply pointing at it while discussing it. We did not touch the artwork. We do understand that we might have stepped a bit too close to the painting, and a reminder to step back would have been completely reasonable. However, the staff member approached us in a very rude manner and implied that we behaved that way because we were young Vietnamese who supposedly did not understand museum etiquette. The comment felt very disrespectful and condescending, and the way it was said left a very negative impression, as if Vietnamese visitors were being looked down upon. The place was quite empty during our visit, it was difficult to find the restroom, and overall the experience did not feel worth the price.

A bit out of the city centre but it's definitely worth it. When we visited 2 years ago, the garden hadn't been completed yet. The space is very relaxing and the exhibition is well curated and inspiring.

Truly a hidden gem! This art space is the perfect place to unwind, enjoy the scent of fresh flowers, and just chill. The gallery is spacious, and the exhibition is thoughtfully curated — with clear explanations in Vietnamese, English, and Korean. The whole space smells amazing, adding to the peaceful atmosphere. Don’t miss the rooftop — it's absolutely worth visiting, especially if you can catch the sunset or sunrise. A magical spot to spend some quiet, inspiring moments.

The setting is remarkable and is located about 8km from the Saigon Moran Hotel. It offers a serene and peaceful environment, distinguished by its modern buildings and excellent facilities. The site is very quiet, providing an ideal atmosphere for relaxation and exploration of the grounds. There are numerous places to sit and enjoy the surroundings. The artwork, created by Labadang, showcases his versatility and innovative spirit through various mediums, which I found impressive. Given its unique qualities, I recommend a visit of at least two hours. When planning your trip, consider visiting early in the day if you intend to use a taxi or Grab, as availability may decrease later in the evening. Nonetheless, motorcycle taxis are conveniently located outside the gate. FINAL NOTE, YOU CAN ONLY PAY WITH CASH.

It is an incredible space of nature, art, and peace. We loved everything there. Lebadang’s life journey is indeed as special as his works. One of a kind!!!!

This is one of the most beautiful places in Vietnam. Here, incredible landscape design intertwines with amazing modern architecture and beautiful art. I highly recommend visiting this beautiful place!

One of the most beautiful art galleries and gardens that we have seen in Vietnam by far. Everything about the Lebadang Memory Space is exquisite, purposeful and one with nature. The art gallery’s architecture itself is amazing, the artist and his work are so unbelievably diverse in form and function, yet with a unifying theme. The gardens are amazingly beautiful and serene. Although one comes to Hue for the ancient city, this modern mini Guggenheim is an experience that will only heighten your image of Hue. Plan to spend a minimum of 1-1 1/2 hours. We wish we had more time. The gallery has two main areas that are air conditioned as well as an indoor cafe. Soon to come is a Homestay where one can enjoy a private evening on the grounds. Lastly, don’t let the 265k vnd entrance fee concern you; we were a little surprised at first, but it is well worth it.

Incredible artist, museum, and place to spend the day. The property is an art piece itself! The ticket price is well worth it. There’s even a cafe on the water to enjoy a snack. The exhibitions are thoughtful and thought provoking!
