We came here after a long walk in Jerash. The food was -the least to say- amazing! Very delicious, well presented, and authentic. The service was perfect with a friendly yet very professional staff. Khaled, our host, made sure we had everything we wanted, even helped us with cutting the big chunk of meat we ordered with our main course (lamb shoulder with perfumed rice). Great experience 👌

DELICIOUS. It is incredible and less expensive than you would think when you see on the menu famous (VERY famous) people that have already been there. The typical food was delicious, we couldn’t think of a better place to eat that day. They have free parking for guests.

We visited this restaurant expecting a good meal, but sadly, it turned into a disappointing experience. We initially wanted to order 1 kg of lamb with rice, advertised for six people, but the waiter told us it wasn’t available. Instead, he suggested ordering two smaller meals, each supposedly for two people. Trusting his advice, we went with that, assuming it would suffice for our family of mostly women. When the food arrived, it was an absurd amount, each “smaller” meal contained 600-700 grams of meat. The portions were way more than we needed, and we struggled to finish even half of it. We had to pack the leftovers into six separate containers, but as tourists, we couldn’t keep or eat them later, so we ended up giving the food away. The quality of the food itself was mediocre at best, definitely not worth the hefty price of 85 JOD. The real issue, however, was the waiter’s upselling. It felt manipulative and left us with a sense of being scammed. This experience was a waste of money and food, and we left feeling deeply unsatisfied. Would not recommend.

Every time I visit Jerash or Ajloun, it’s impossible not to have lunch at Lebanese House Um Khalil. The food is incredibly delicious, bursting with flavors in every bite. The staff? Simply amazing! Every single one of them is not only professional but also extremely kind and welcoming. The atmosphere is refined, and the service is exceptional. It’s definitely a must-visit spot, and I can’t recommend it enough!

After walking through the ruins of Jarash we headed to Lebanese House, it was a quick and short ride. Lebanese House is a wonderful place with great service and food. We ordered yalanji, sfeeha, kabab, and arayes. The manager (Um khalil's nephew) hosted us and patiently helped us with our order. He was honest and kind. After our meal we were served complimentary traditional lebanese dessert called layalee lebanon (Lebanese nights). The restaurant has a traditional arabic atmosphere with traditional arabic songs, such as Fairuz, playing quietly in the background and is very clean.
