"A tour operator that employs local Soweto residents who lead walks through the township, offering personal anecdotes and historical context that add intimacy and authenticity to the visitor experience." - Sophie Baker
A wonderful place with a wonderful mission.
We booked the two hour tuk tuk tour with lunch included. The lunch was absolutely delicious and definitely typical South African.
The team were all incredible, especially Thuli at reception and Lungile our guide. They both reminded me of the hospitality that all South Africans share.
Lebo has left a legacy that I hope will endure for generations more to enjoy and learn.
Absolutely worth it, a definite must!

I enjoyed a four hour cycle tour with Fulu - a warm and friendly guide. The pace was good and I felt well looked after. The lunch at the end was hearty and tasty. I will recommend to any friends and family visiting the area. Thank you!

Our stay at Lebo’s was just amazing. The place is beautiful and clean and we had the best shower ever. Couldn’t fault the staff, super friendly and helpful.||Fulu & Xoliswa were just the best guides we had for our 4 hour Pushbike tour around Soweto. Very informative and beautiful people, thank you so much, Karen & John

A genuinely wonderful experience if you really want to understand in depth what’s been going on in Soweto from its origin, through apartheid and now. The folks at Lebo’s are trying to do something truly special here, uplifting and empowering the local community. So if you have a chance, it’s definitely worth the ride.

Amazing place ! We chose the camping option and did not regret! we were welcomed by a very friendly warm and sharing experience team. They took care of fire pits all night and prepared breakfast at sunrise. The kids (from 2 to 18) loved all of it. I definitely recommande the camping option if you look for an authentic experience. We also recommande the bike tour : professional team , seeking for safety first (we had to wear helmets). We felt very safe and welcomed by the community during the whole bike tour. Food amazing as well. Thanks again the whole team!

We had such a great time in Soweto. Our guide Fulufhelo was amazing, so friendly and full of knowledge. The story of Soweto is really touching and inspiring. We did the tour by bike and had lunch after, everything was great and felt very safe. I definitely recommend this experience to anyone visiting Johannesburg, it’s a must! 💕
