It was fine. Glad to say we went, but not knocked out by anything I'm particular. Took forever to get drinks, and they finally came with our food. I lad a long island Iced tea the was very meh, and the Donny burger that was overcooked and was a little smaller and thinner than my wife's burger that was actually quite delicious.

Lebowski Bar is a fun, quirky spot in downtown Reykjavik that fully embraces its theme with playful energy and bold decor. From the moment you walk in, you’re immersed in a colorful tribute to The Big Lebowski—complete with retro bowling alley vibes, movie quotes, and an impressive menu of White Russians and shakes. We stopped in for dessert and ordered two of their signature milkshakes: the banana shake and the peanut butter chocolate shake. Both were indulgent, rich, and clearly made with quality ingredients. The banana shake was smooth, creamy, and packed with real banana flavor—refreshing without being too sweet. The peanut butter chocolate shake, on the other hand, was pure dessert heaven: thick, bold, and perfectly balanced between salty and sweet. The service was friendly and efficient, and the overall vibe was upbeat and casual. It’s definitely more of a high-energy spot—great for groups or anyone looking for a lively time. The only reason it’s not a full five stars is the volume—it can get pretty loud, especially during peak hours, which might not suit everyone. But if you’re into great shakes, good vibes, and a bit of nostalgic kitsch, Lebowski Bar is absolutely worth a visit.

When we stayed in Reykjavík for two nights, we ate at the Lebowski Bar both nights! It is my husband’s fav movie! Fun, entertaining bar with really good food. The staff were amazing as well. Thanks for the delicious food and beer.

This place is great. I love the atmosphere and the aesthetics. We ordered the burger. It's was really good. It was a sunny day so we sat upstairs outside. You couldn't ask for better service. Amanda is the bomb!!!

It was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had - sorry no photo. It was the spicy burger on the menu. I will definitely go back

Very friendly bartenders and awesome atmosphere even if you haven't seen the movie. Had the white Russian coffee and it was really good. Was there during the day so I can't speak to the nightlife but I have heard its a good party spot!

We visited this place during the evening. Attracted with a music from inside we decided to enter. Staff is nice and friendly, including the people at the entrance. You might have to wait to be let inside if it is crowded, but we didn't wait long. There is dance podium part at the end of the place where DJ is. What is maybe interesting fact is that they have a wheel in the bar where you can pay and spin it. I liked it a lot here. 👌

We came in with no reservation on a Friday night around 6:00-6:30; there were 25 of us trickling in over the course of an hour. They sat us together (spread out over several tables), served us as quickly as they could, and were just generally very good sports. The drinks are good, a nice happy hour, and don't miss out on the burgers!!!
