Ledo Pizza

Not impressed with the taste and texture of this pizza at all. Personnel are nice and the pizza was ready when I arrived to pickup the pizza. No one eating inside. Pizza to go seems to be the trend here.

This Ledo's location is my favorite in the area as they always treat us like family and the pizza is what we've come to love about Ledo's over the years. They are great with food allergies as well which is another reason we keep coming back.

A small restaurant but our favorite go to place as a family when it comes to pizza. My grandchildren love the pepperoni pizza and the white pizza! We also order the wings and the salad and all together they make an excellent Sunday lunch!

This is not the Ledo pizza that I am used too. Too much sauce and barely any cheese. The crust was thicker than usual and yummy. Has to throw it away. The service was good and the atmosphere was clean and tidy.

This is my first time here and I am not disappointed. The food is so wonderfully tasty. It comes out hot and fresh. Your tongue will want to come out your mouth and slap you in the face. The staff is friendly and takes care of you. I will come back for more. There was so much I had to take half of it home for a 2nd meal!

Got home and realized the pizza was undercooked. I called them back. They want me to drive 15 minutes back to recook pizza being funny! I have been eating ledos since a kid and have never had such horrible pizza and customer service. The kids won’t even eat the pizza. I use to eat here a few times a week. Never again! Now you lost one of your best customers at this location! I will still eat ledos just not your store!

I love ledos but this location is not it. Pros: only Ledo in the ashburn area Cons: sauce to pizza ratio is criminal. Prepare to eat your pizza with raw flour stuck under it

Ledo's is the original for Washington DC style pizza. The hallmark of a Ledo's pizza is a light flaky crust. When we lived in Leesburg we got Ledo's all the time and it was always great. Sadly, the other reviews about THIS Ledo's are correct. It is NOT Ledo's pizza! The dough appeared to have been cooked fine: from the bottomed it had a nice golden brown color. But after one bite I knew this Ledo's has failed. The crust was tough and chewy, not light and flaky. The sauce and cheese were the right proportion for a Ledo's pizza so no complaint there (it's normal for them to be saucy). But the crust was horrible compared to any style of pizza. I believe the dough is not being prepared properly. Perhaps they're not giving it enough time to rise. I don't know; but something is very wrong. This location should have the kitchen and management staff from Leesburg come and train them on what a Ledo's pizza is supposed to taste like. Or perhaps Ledo's corporate needs to take the franchise away from the owner because if a new customer that had never been to a properly run Ledo's comes to this one for their first Ledo's experience... they'll never come back. Thinking of getting Ledo's tonight? Do yourself a favor and drive a few miles down the road to the Leesburg location. 1 Star for the decent wings and 1 for the nice people working when we picked up the order. 0 for the pizza.

I'll start by saying that Ledos is probably my all time favorite pizza for the past 40 years. But what I bought from this place was bad! Ate a couple of slices and the rest went into the trash can. Crust was tough and chewy is the best way I can describe it and hardly any sauce. Two large pizzas = $50 worth of garbage. So disappointing. Will never buy from this location again.

At least we didn't get sick. We threw this piece of shit pizza out the window and it bounced off the roadway into a tractor trailer shattering the windshield. Hard burnt old crust and lack of sauce made it more aerodynamic for launching. If you're into eating cardboard for your diet or if you need a frisbee (pizza) then this location will hook you up. Ledo franchise should come in smash the building down but probably the hard Undigestible pizza crust will support the building keeping it from falling in on itself. You've been warned

Ledo's is usually my go to place for a crispy cheese pizza but this place was horrible. We ordered an extra large cheese pizza for new year's eve, and when we brought it home, the pizza was completely raw and hadn't even been baked properly. You could literally taste the dough in your mouth, it was awful. Then we called the main restaurant complaining about how raw and uncooked this pizza was. They said okay, we will make you another one if you want to pick it up. We went back to pick it up and brought a slice of the old pizza with us. They just laughed at us and said why do you want another one - this one is fine. We showed them how raw it was and they said we should have brought the whole pizza back. But no one on the phone told us to do that. They were extremely rude and disrespectful and just kept laughing at us for bringing what they thought was a perfectly fine pizza back which it wasn't at all. We kept waiting thinking they were going to make us a new one. We waited for over 40 minutes, and the staff just kept laughing at us. We finally went up saying how long it was going to take for the new pizza and they just laughed at us again saying there was nothing wrong and we needed to bring the whole pizza back. And refused to give us a new one - after waiting for 40 whole minutes just sitting there but no one had the decency to tell us anything. Then couple minutes later he finally went back to the kitchen and pulled out the pizza and gave it to us which was a little bit better cooked but still the service at this place was awful. After that we were driving back and the same girl who we initially called to complain called and asked if we got the new pizza. We said yes and started talking about how rude the front desk staff was to us and she just hung up in the middle of us talking, absolutely ridiculous service. Will not be coming back to this location again. It's sad because Ledo's is usually my favorite pizza but the staff and overall atmosphere ruined it for us.

The pizza is terrible. I LOVE Ledo pizza. I don't know what this store does differently, but every time I've bought pizza here the crust is either dried out and crunchy or tough and chewy. It's truly awful. I won't buy pizza here again. I guess I'll only eat Ledo from the Frederick store, cause theirs is awesome. The one in Leesburg is not much better.

A week ago last Sunday we Ordered a Half Baked Cheese Pizza. I took one bite into the first piece of pizza and my entire bottom lip was covered in FLOUR! I looked under the rest of the Pizza and it was ALL COVERED IN FLOUR! NONE OF US COULD EAT IT! For YEARS we have ordered Half Baked Cheese Pizza's before from Ledo's Pizza in Falls Church and this NEVER happend. It was ALWAYS AWESOME at the Falls Church Location BUT not here in Ashburn. We moved out to Ashburn this past July and this was the second and LAST TIME we will ever order from this location.

This is not 'pizza'....the dough is really bad and not fresh. It looks almost like they do not make their own doe in house and possibly has it shipped in like Dominos. It's a sad sad cracker crust with cheap greasy cheese...literally a few blocks away you can go to Don's Pizza and they are 1000x better in both atmosphere, quality of food, presentation, and their staff was lot nicer too. My suggestion....fix your dough recipe and get better cheese. The dough is trash absolute trash any baker would tell you this. You sauce was really sweet to I don't think you are using quality ingredients and are using very cheap product. I wont be back. Additionally....you don't have basil...how can a pizza place not know how to make a Neapolitan or margarita pie? When I asked for a Margarita the gal behind the counter said she had to ask the cook....the cook didn't even know what that was. It's pretty obvious yall's manager are not educating the staff on BASIC culinary art terms specific to the food they are severing. I mean anyone anyone with a brain that actually cares about pizza or food knows this.... Train your staff and at least try to are about what you are severing. I can make better pie at home for a fraction of what I paid for a Cheese, Garlic, and Tomato pie. Have some respect for the food you are cooking people. 1* - will not be back...would NEVER recommend.

I've been on a search for my favorite pizza in ashburn and ledos is the ONE!! The sauce is slightly sweet, crust is chewy, it's just so good. Ordered the hot honey pepperoni and BbQ chicken pizza. We got takeout and the pizza held up well. Wish I took a picture, but either way it was delicious and a nice change from the other places in ashburn. The person I spoke to on the phone was very nice. I recommend.

The pizza is good. Thin crust so you don't feel stuffed with bread. Wings are ok but not great. I decided to try the grilled chicken breast sandwich. The pic clearly shows a single chicken breast and the description would lead you to believe it's a single breast. It's pre-sliced pieces like you would find in a frozen bag. A little misleading as I wouldn't have ordered it

My family has been ordering pizza for almost 15 years from this location, and to this point we were very satisfied. We noticed with today's order the pizza didn't have the usual sweet sauce and doughy taste Ledo's has been synonymous for. After politely contacting the location over the phone to express our concern for the product, we were emotionlessly dismissed with no attempt to rectify the situation. While we hope for other customers sake this is a one off, my family will no longer patronize this location.

Tried the taco pizza and it was just so so. Wilted lettuce on top and no cheese. Not a very taco tasting.

Gross. Pizza still doughy. No taste. Food is very cheap. Can't handle Friday night traffic of people.

Bait and Switch on the $5 Calzone Monday Promotion! Went to the Ashburn Ledo pizzeria for 4 calzones. Promo said up to 3 fillings. Got them home, each calzone was 1/4th the size of a normal calzone! Barely the size of a hot pocket. Barely any filling. See pictures of the calzones regarding ad vs what they gave me. Called to complain immediately, owner didn't offer any apology or resolution. My only recourse was to return for money back. NOT worth $5 when you can get two huge pieces of pizza for $5 at Wegmans or Harris Teeter. Bad customer service. Emailed the corporate office of Ledo Pizza - response: will investigate and get back to me in 4-6 WEEKS! Here's my public service announcement. DON'T waste your MONEY or TIME!

Per an email sent to them: Please note: I confirmed my order 3 times before the delivery date and time and when i called for my order today, it had NOT been done. The person on the phone said "no one told me about your order". I HAVE FIFTY PEOPLE WAITING TO EAT!!!" The order was to be here at 1:45 and the food has not been cooked nor is it on its way. It's currently 2:08pm. This is the ABSOLUTE WORST SERVICE EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD!!!! Let me repeat: I HAVE FIFTY PEOPLE WAITING TO EAT THE FOOD I ORDERED FROM LEDOS!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

I am a Ledo's fan, no matter where they are located. I've never had a bad experience and the food is always satisfying. This location specifically always has fresh food, and great customer service. I would love to give five stars, but the cleanliness of the restaurant isn't always the best.

BBQ chicken pizza was delicious! We ordered 50 wings ahead of time and thankful for Byron who took his time to explain how to reheat them for the super bowl .

I am very familiar with the Ledos pizza franchise! At the age of 15 I helped open the Ledos In Reston VA and worked every position in the restaurant. I have ordered from this location in Ashburn 3 times now and this is what I have found. They use old dough.. they don't throw out dough which is a sign of lazy poor management. The chewy old tasting dough ruins the entire pizza. Knowing they don't use fresh dough leads me to believe they don't use fresh anything. On top of that they are rude and impatient with customers. Stay far far away from this Ledos!!!!

I typically LOVE Ledo's pizza, but the last (2) experiences have been terrible. If you are taking it to go, you really should check the pizza BEFORE you leave with it. We ordered a pizza from the Ashburn location on or around January 22, 2018. We did ask for it to be well done (because if you don't, it can be kinda dough-y), but this was by far the WORST pizza we have ever eaten. Worse than Dominos, Papa Johns, worse than the stuff you find on the buffet at Cici's pizza at the end of the night. Dry, barely any cheese, COLD, stone cold, hard as a rock, and yet soggy wherever they put the tomatoes. I am so very disappointed in this meal. I feel bad for the location, because the large grocery store that was next to it (Bloom) went out of business a while ago, and it's virtually a ghost town area next to condos and houses. I don't know if we went on an off night, or whatever, but yuck, yuck, yuck. I would call to talk to someone, but the last time I talked to a Ledo's employee about something (Sterling VA location) for a pick-up, they were very rude and said essentially "... sorry, I don't make the policy, and we changed the policy, so I can't help you, do you want a pizza or not?" We used to get a large pizza with 1/2 hamburger on top, 1/2 buffalo chicken. Because it uses (2) kinds of sauce, apparently (I had no idea), Ledo's changed policy. This was just after Christmas, and I didn't have time to talk to a manager... but she was incredibly rude about it. When I went to pick up THAT pizza (again, from Sterling, not the Ashburn location), the restaurant was SOOO empty (at 6pm, which is surprising). The girl from the phone, who was, granted, an hourly, younger employee, was all smiles in person. I thought "...well, maybe she had an off night when I called her...", but I was still not going to give more than a dollar cash tip for a pizza that I was picking up after that rude service. The waiter, another hourly, younger employee, huffed and said to the counter girl "...wow, you think with it being so close to Christmas with everyone getting Christmas cash and presents, they would be more generous...". Seriously, I'm standing right here, are you saying that to her about me? About your one table? Did you not get a big tip? Did you think you deserved it with that AAAAAa-mazing attitude? I typically tip 20% on everything to anyone in the service industry, UNLESS they go out of their way to be callous, mean, or just rude. I should have grabbed that dollar back after that comment.... are you serious?!? Ledos - great dine in, TERRIBLE dine-out. Go to the one in McLean, they are nice there, and the food is always good.

I never leave a review. But this pizza was just weird. The crust was chewy and tough. I kept telling my husband it was like a chew toy. The topping and everything else was average. I have never had a Ledo's pizza that wasn't a flaky delicious crust. We will not ever go back to this one. As far as I'm concerned it was not a Ledo's crust

We love Ledo's pizza and will make the drive even though other places will deliver. The thin crust and small sizes are unique. In a small plaza and not too hard to find.

Very disappointed! They appear to be pre-packaging the grilled chicken salads. I called in an order today and the chicken was refrigerated, very small, very little bacon and most of the lettuce stalks were turning brown. I'm not used to this type of thing from Ledo Pizza. I see now why this store is getting all the bad reviews. Definitely won't be back!

We have enjoyed Ledo's pizza for years and never had a bad experience. Always a hidden treasure for the best thin crust pizza around. Nothing is thrown together but rather, each pizza is made as a work of art. The down side is that they don't have a delivery. If they did offer delivery, I suspect they would be the #1 choice in the area.

Very bad waiters and cashiers they were fooling around behind the counter and made fun of me and my tips and face. They never clean when a family leaves it's disturbing and I saw rats in the restaurant. Never taking my 10 year old daughter again they made suggestive jokes about her too

Pizza was pretty good not very Professional when they answer the phone Hello with No Name.and the Bathroom were Dirty with no Paper towels. Just. SAYING!

This was our standard, Friday night dinner as we drove back from Aldie from an activity every week on our way home to Belmont CC. I grew to really like their pizza. The plaza is sort of a ghost town due to the fact there isn't a grocery store to anchor it, which is unfortunate (but hey -plenty of parking!). I always found the kids who work there -especially the one girl with dark hair - to be so pleasant, that we always kept coming back! We moved to Chicago last summer and even being in the city that prides itself on pizza, we still miss our little brick squares. When we come back to visit friends, we will definitely come in to chow down!

It's a very different type of pizza. I love it. Good pizza. The only bad thing I can say is I have to drive all the way across Ashburn to get it.

Frozen pizza from the grocery store is better and that's not saying much. The pizza is greasy, flavorless, and just horrible. The pasta looks like something that comes out of a elementary school cafeteria and my 6 year old didn't even like it and he loves spaghetti and meatballs. It's obvious the meatballs are frozen. Cici's has extremely cheap pizza and it tastes a little better than this place. Definitely stick to some place else than Ledo's. I don't understand how this place is a chain!

5th and final time I will ever go to Ledo's. I can't figure it out, but I've tried SO hard to understand why Americans think this pizza is so good. I've had Ledo's five times now, constantly hoping the experience would be different but it never is. It is terrible, awful, greasy, sweet and flavorless at the same time. Who likes sweet pizza? Oh, the ever growing population of obese Americans like sweet and salty flavors, I guess this pizza is 5 stars for them. The service in this location was particularly awful, and we came after the lunch rush on a Saturday. We sat outside which was awesome, but the one girl working outside forgot things often and she would pop outside only every 10 minutes or so. I am done with Ledo Pizza.

The Mister LOVES him some Ledo, so this location should really be impressed that it is the one that broke him of his Ledo habit. The place is chaotic and usually taken over by large groups of sports teams/leagues who seem to use it as their own private banquet room. The food came out cold and bland. The place was filthy. Straw wrappers everywhere. The location is in a strip mall that is almost otherwise boarded up. We haven't been back. You don't need to bother.

Family-owned and well-loved in the community. Our orders are consistently correct and on time. The patio is dog-friendly and the beer is always cold - bonus! Definitely give them your business.

Best thin crust I find in east coast, thank you Ledo for making a true thin crust pizza that is fracking awesome! I would recommend you to anyone who like thin crust pizza, shame on deep dish it make you feel like submarine in stomach, but thin crust is cooler and easier on the stomach feels lighter! If you did weddings I would of served everyone their own Ledo pizza! I like your pizza verry much! If you need me to defend Ledo nation I will only required one pizza a week as payment.. Call me if you like

Very dissatisfied! We just ordered a pepperoni pizza to go. When we arrived home, we opened the box and found that our pizza was a reheated pizza. All the oil was soaked on the box and the pizza was semi hot and did not look fresh. We lost our appetite just looking at the pizza but that was dinner so we had to eat some of it. Also, my lemon pepper chicken salad was very dry like it's been sitting there all day. We really just tried his place because it was very close to our house, but we'd rather driver further to get better pizza next time. We will never recommend this place or eat here again! I never make reviews like this but we are so upset that we had to feed our family this horrible pizza!

Amazing pizza and amazing staff. The cashier Jonny was super friendly and nice. Everything was well except for the waiter I believe his name was Evan. He was extremely rude and disrespectful. Ledos is must go unless you get a waiter named evan.

The worst dining experience of my life was the evening of December 10, 2019 at Ledo's Pizza in Ashburn, VA (Belmont Ridge and Portsmouth Blvd). I soon found out why I was the only dining patron all the time I was there. I ordered the smallest "Meat Lovers" pizza they had. The pizza was brought out and shoved under my forearm while I was still enjoying the really good chicken wings. However, my gripe is with the pizza. The pizza was overdone, flat, oily, and bland. Some toppings were burned to an oily black crisp and the edge of the crust was blackened as well. The only recognizable topping to me was the thin, leathery pepperoni and that was due to its round shape. The pizza appeared to have been overly warmed up in the microwave and (did I say?) it was drenched in oil. What were they thinking? I called the young lady and gentleman (managers) to the table and showed them the pizza. At first they conveyed a sense of complete disagreement with me. It took a while for them to "come around". I was offered a new pizza or a partial refund. I refused both and said I will just pick through and finish. I had enough to eat at this point with the chicken wings I had earlier. This experience left me ill all evening and until early afternoon the next day and that is what prompted me to write this review. I don't want other people getting sick after dining there. I made sure to tell them that they have lost their way and I expressed that things there have seriously gone downhill. I have to believe that they rationalized a lot and this is how they cope. I want them to be successful but I don't think they accept that they need serious help in just about every aspect of running a restaurant.

Wings are terrible, cooked hours before and kept under a warmer....soggy. Used to love this place but they've gone downhill. Won't be back.

I've always loved Ledos. This location is such a disappointment. Pizza is great but the staff isn't so much. A bunch of kids who snicker and talk crap about the customers that are in the establishment. I understand it's just a pizza joint but it's really not right.

Ledo pizza is very unique and we do carry out from here often. The pizza is always fresh hot and delicious. Nice outdoor seating here in a quiet corner of Ashburn.

I am updating my review. My kids love this pizza and they are super picky eaters for whatever reason. The staff is very nice and courteous and I find that the business is very clean. I love thin crust pizza and while this doesn't rival our beloved St Louis style, provel cheese pizza, this is in regular rotation for us on busy nights!

I love the pizza and the service ... I used to frequent a Ledo in Annapolis, so was pleased to find another one close to Ashburn. They do not disappoint. The crust is thin, and the sauces and toppings are excellent. I am not sure where the negative reviews are originating, but I have never had a bad experience in three years, including tonight.

Things must have been cleaned up and straightened out, because the restaurant is clean (at least on the customers side), the service is great and it tastes like Ledo Pizza to me.

I grew up on Ledo Pizza...even frequented the original in Adelphi, MD for a short time. I give the location of this particular Ledo's a 1...the center its in is just a poor spot for it...move it closer to Ashburn Farm or Village and they might get more business. I have been there a few times and each time there haven't been any people dining in...even at lunch time one day, I decided to take my kids and Mom...she loves Ledos too. We were the only ones in the restaurant at lunch time...maybe two other people got carry out while we were there...but no one came in to eat. Management is not solid...I know, I'm a restaurant manager. there was one person in the kitchen doubling as the cashier as well...so, where is he manager? Probably making the food...he didn't look very clean, so I do question the staffing. the food was okay...not typical of the Ledos I know...early on, while in high school I worked for a Ledos in MD for almost 3 years...I even tried to duplicate the pizza at home...it just couldn't compare to the actual pizza. this particular day, the food was decent...my kids wanted to see what was on TV, but we're forced to watch middle eastern soccer...hmmm. The time before, I decided to get carry out on a Friday night...again, not very many people there...about 2 tables occupied...I say again, close that location and move to a busier spot...get better management, and staff and you will do a lot better.

This place is great. This was one of the first restaurants we went to when we moved here, and we think they do a great job. Our first visit was over the summer break and so we were convinced it was run by 16-year-olds, but the food was great and everyone there was so very nice. Since then, I like to go back for carb-loading (even though it's all in my head) before races. My kids LOVE the pizza and I haven't had a single dish that I don't love. I hope they stick around. Great location for the neighborhood.

Excellent pizzas. I usually order out. Highly recommend the veggie pizza and the four cheese italian pizza.
