In all our years of traveling around the world —Scotland, England, Spain, Portugal, France, and even Bangkok— we have never experienced hospitality like this. From the moment we arrived at Lee Chiang Hotel, Chiang Mai, we were treated with exceptional care, warmth, and attention, something truly rare in the hospitality industry. The staff is incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely caring, available 24/7, always checking that we were comfortable and happy, and going out of their way to make our stay unforgettable.
The hotel itself is immaculate. Every corner sparkles with cleanliness, the rooms are spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. It’s obvious that the staff takes immense pride in every detail. The atmosphere of the hotel is peaceful, welcoming, and genuinely makes you feel at home immediately.
The location is perfect, nestled conveniently close to everything you could want in Chiang Mai. It’s a short distance from the city’s most important temple, local markets, cafes, and restaurants. Yet, despite its central location, the hotel feels serene and private, a true oasis in the heart of the city.
A small, practically indiscernible mosquito entered our room during our stay. As nature enthusiasts, we were curious rather than concerned and even found it quite beautiful. Out of simple curiosity, we took a photo and asked at reception about it. The next day, the hotel owner personally apologized (even though it wasn’t the hotel’s fault), researched the insect online to reassure us it was harmless, and as a remarkable gesture of generosity, offered us a private, complimentary tour to the mountain temple of Chiang Mai. There was absolutely no charge, no obligation, simply an act of genuine care for our comfort and experience. This small incident, handled with such thoughtfulness and kindness, perfectly exemplifies the extraordinary level of service at this hotel.
In addition to these extraordinary personal touches, the hotel’s amenities, attention to cleanliness, and serene yet central location make it a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The combination of comfort, service, and personal care elevates this hotel far above anything we have ever experienced, anywhere in the world.
Without a doubt, Lee Chiang Hotel is not just the best hotel in Thailand — it is the best hotel in the entire world. The dedication of the staff, the thoughtful and heartfelt actions of the owner, the immaculate facilities, and the perfect location all contribute to a truly unparalleled experience. Every single moment of our stay was memorable, every interaction with the staff was genuine, and every detail was perfect.
We cannot recommend Lee Chiang Hotel highly enough. If you are visiting Chiang Mai, do yourself a favor and stay here — it will not just meet your expectations; it will redefine what you believe is possible in hospitality. Truly, a five-star experience in every imaginable sense, a hotel that leaves a lasting mark on your heart.
