Great location which is close to some beautiful temples and places to eat but tucked away in a side street so pretty quiet. Rooms are clean, air-con works well and nice communal area to sit in with a breakfast which you can pay for. Staff are very attentive and friendly. They offered to call our bus service for us when it was running late to check where it was. Really enjoyed my stay here!

Small quaint property, extremely hospitable staff, very clean with personalised attention to detail and guest well being by the hotel management.|The rooms are comfortable with nice beds and free wi fi and a good breakfast is available.|The Lee Chiang is close to the airport and walking distance to many places of interest like the Wat Phra Singh, Wat Chedi Leung temples and walking streets. |A novel touch is the provision of free bicycles to guests who want to explore nearby attractions. |Highly recommended!

The Lee Chiang is a small, family style 3 star hotel located centrally in an extremely quiet part of the old town just behind the Wat Phra Singh temple in a small backstreet. The front of the hotel is attractive with water features, plants & orchids & a very comfortable elevated terrace. Crucially, there is a laundry just a few metres down the street (40 baht/kilo of clothes, which come back smelling of flowers!) & a laundromat nearby. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the rooms are perfectly adequate & all have air conditioning & are cleaned daily. The beds in particular were very comfortable (& better than a 5 star hotel we stayed in for a couple of nights at great expense in Bangkok). Breakfast consists of a continental breakfast, a Thai dish that changes daily, fresh fruit, yoghurt & a choice of eggs. Really good & simple. The staff are always smiling, friendly & keen to help, while the owner was very welcoming & a goldmine of information. We relied on him every day to organise a Grab car or taxi with driver for wherever we wanted to go, & then again in the evening to go out to eat. The day rate for a car with driver varied from 1000 to 1600 baht (£22 to £35) depending upon distance for the whole day! And there are plenty of places to visit. Hiring a Grab car is surprisingly slightly cheaper than a tuk-tuk, but less fun. Our air conditioning would be turned on for us 1 hour before we got back in the afternoons! And the WiFi worked just fine. We stayed for 2 weeks & loved it, despite the heat which we found draining (March to May is the hot season). All in all, the Lee Chiang is the perfect 3 star hotel: very comfortable & clean, central & completely quiet location, good breakfasts, extremely friendly & helpful owner & staff, overall great value. We’ll be back in October.

We had a great time at this very nice boutique hotel.||It is situated in a very quiet part of Chiang Mai, a stone’s throw away from the Wat Pra Sing temple.||On Sundays they have a massive night market in the area.||The room was very clean. The rate was affordable. The hotel staff were all very charming and helpful . They offer free use of bicycles for those who care to explore the city.||The owner gave us excellent suggestions on which sites to see, how long it takes to get there or how far they were.||I would highly recommend this hotel.

Had such a wonderful time at Lee Chiang Hotel. The owner and the staff were kind and nice to talk to, with great recommendations as well. Rooms were clean and spacious, and close to the action in Old Town. Highly recommend and hope to come back!

Good value for money, not luxurious and not too fancy, but very comfortable. The shower was fine in our room, but our friends weren't so lucky. The porch is really nice, the location is great. The highlight is definitely the staff which is very helpful and accommodating. The bed is great, we had a great night sleep over here.

Friendly and very helpful staff. Excellent location. Quiet personal hotel that went that extra mile for you... Arranged excursions, recommended places to go and advised on taxi pricing. Highly recommended for the couple to have a nice quiet base. Good breakfast. Very well priced hotel.

The day we checked in, the owner said to us our breakfast was already included. I even asked him to confirm once again, and he said it was included. Now, we checked out and he asked us whether the breakfast was included in our room, then he checked in the computer and said it wasn't and he already had a paper with the values of the breakfasts of our room even though he had said before it was included so we had to pay 1000 baht. The stay was good so far, but this bad surprise in the end ruined it. It may be a mistake, but a very bad one.
