A lovely place to go shopping for quirky and interesting gifts. Mostly high quality. For woodworking definitely probably the most top notch saws and hand planes as well as marking tools available to purchase anywhere in the GTA. Bonus is that all the Veritas tools are Canadian made

Drove from very far away in a snow storm to pick up an online order that wasn’t filled despite the online store saying they had them. We suggested other alternatives and they wouldn’t help us. I know it was close to closing but I am very disappointed in the lack of help and customer service. I left my baby shower to make it there before they closed, in a snow storm. Highly disappointed, take your business elsewhere.

I love this company. Excellent selection. Amazing customer service. I miss the Toronto store. But ordering online works. Their online staff seem to work 24/7 And they are extremely helpful.

First visit to Lee Valley on Nov 18 around 5p. They really have everything and more. Quite surprised as we went to take a look at wood carving tools. Large selection of tools specialing in wood cutting, sculpting. Bird feeders, cabinet hardware & pasta. Excellent customer service from Heeba. Very personable, patient and provided great recommendations.

Great selection of products in a wide range of interests. Quality and not too bad prices. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable. You may end up buying more stuff than what you went in for.

Store is clean and well organized. Staff is friendly and always helpful. Purchased several Festool and Jessem tools from Lee Valley and will continue to make the 2.5hr drive to shop in store vs online.

I'm a newcomer to LeeValley, having visited twice, with the most recent visit occurring on November 18, 2023. I appreciate this store for its extensive selection of wood carving supplies, a hobby I've recently taken an interest in. I discovered that they offer in-store classes, and the staff who assisted me were consistently friendly, knowledgeable, and provided excellent recommendations.

Had an item I needed, grabbed my number and waited patiently and they got to me with no issue. Found the item and transaction was completed within 2 mins. Great service here and clean store, don’t forget to get a number if you want to be served!

Just bought their dandelion weeder long handle for $47. After using it for a week, it is of poor design. Metal "V" is too fat and not sharp. Very poor design.

This is my favorite place to browse for tools,books and hard to find items. I never leave this store empty handed. The floor staff is friendly and knowledgeable about there products and applications. They also have the best catalogues for there products.
