20250930 I heard this donut shop is quite famous in BC, so even though I’m not really a fan of donuts, I decided to give it a try. The blueberry flavor isn’t too strong, and the blue-colored cake is quite unique. Personally, though, I found it really sweet—I couldn’t finish the whole thing myself.

Good place to get a donut. This place is not as busy as the other locations. Lineups are short or none at all. Staff were nice and welcoming. The Custard filled donut is my favorite here. Donuts are soft, not too greasy and the custard filling was creamy.

Great doughnuts and clean restaurant. Fresh and tasty. Strongly recommend this shop.

Lee's are best when fresh, and they are hard to beat. If anything they are 100X better than Tim's. I love the plain, the lemon frosted, and the blueberry frosted. Some say the honey dipped is the best. While they are good I much prefer the cake style donut.

Enjoyed fresh & tasty vanilla cream donuts at the Steveston location last week. The dough was moist and not greasy or too sweet like some donuts, and there was a decent amount of cream filling. I only wish the vanilla cream tasted more like natural vanilla (it had a bit of an artificial/chemical taste). The service was fast and the place looked new & spotless. It’s a lovely area where you can sit and indulge in a box of donuts on a bench overlooking the river.

Be very mindful if you are here for Too Good To Go pick up. Disappointing quality with my Too Good To Go pickup. Got almost a dozen donuts for about half the price, but they were jammed together in a plastic bag without any care, resulting in damaged donuts and messy toppings. Considering the value, the packaging was unacceptable. As a customer, I expect better handling of food, even if it's surplus. Hopefully, management will take steps to improve packaging practices.

Good Deal, Weird Delivery Been in the area a lot lately and recently installed the Too Good To Go app (TGTG). I saw this place listed and thought, “why not?” I actually laughed when I saw the bag of donuts. And that’s my issue — why a bag?(they do come in a box if it’s not a TGTG order.)I get that you’re getting a bunch of donuts at a discount, and yeah, there were a lot of them. Being in a bag messed up some of the icing on them and left some kind of plain and meh. The donuts themselves were just okay. They left a strange coating in my mouth that’s hard to explain, and the texture was a bit off. They were big, nicely sized donuts though, and if it weren’t for that weird after-feel, I’d probably give them another shot. Seriously though — a bag of donuts? Why? I guess it’s not for me. I don’t really get the hype, and I’m a donut fan through and through. They seem popular though, so maybe it’s just a matter of taste. A bag? Why a bag? Like a joke? I don't know. It was funny kind of but even if i liked it definitely wouldn't use TGTG to order. Just to be clear you do get a box if you order normally. But with TGTG you get a bag. A bag.

The staff are always so pleasant to deal with. The donuts are fresh and delicious. The unique flavors are good. Yes its a bit pricey but well worth the price. I'll continue to come here for my donut cravings!

Yelp
I'm so excited to have a Lee's opened so close to me! The decor inside is lined with classic Lee's motifs and the store is situated on a beautiful boardwalk along the water. I can imagine how amazing it would be to walk off my donut in the summertime~ We arrived maybe 10 minutes till closing time on a random weekday and they still had lots of variety. My favourites are the vanilla cookies and crème donut or the cinnamon one which reminds me of a large sized carnival mini-donut, yum!! They also have some coffee options I believe. There's parking along the street but may be a bit hard to find on busy days.

Yelp
Yo, so Lee's Donuts just opened up in Steveston, right? First glance, them donuts be lookin' sweet--straight up, they had me hyped. But nah, son, that jelly-filled? Straight "weak". I took like three big ol' bites, and not a drop of jelly, fam. Tried the Boston cream and raspberry, but that jelly game? Dead. But lemme tell you what really got me hot--they don't even take "cash", bruh! Straight up card only, and that's some BS. How you gonna deny legal tender, huh? Not everybody out here got plastic, yo! Some of us still roll with paper, know what I mean? And I'm not tryna pay no extra fees swiping a card for a dang donut, feel me? Cash is king, and they straight rejectin' it. Might as well put a sign out front saying, "Only ballers with cards allowed." On top of that, the card machine poppin' up with 15%, 18%, 20% tip options like, bruh, "it's just donuts"! I'm not out here tipping for no reason. And yo, the girl behind the counter? She straight dipped on me when I asked for a receipt, like, real rude vibes. Had me feelin' some type of way. Honestly, I might give 'em another shot, but if they still ain't takin' cash when I slide through again, it's a wrap. Save-On-Foods down the block got donuts for less than half the price, and they hit just the same. Lee's better step up or they gon' lose out on this customer, "real quick".

Yelp
I really love donuts, I really do! Lee's Donuts has arrived in Steveston Village. I was quite surprised actually at this new move into this particular area. An iconic donut shop popular on Granville Island for decades with locals & tourists popping in year round, Lee's Donuts has expanded recently with several locations all over Metro Vancouver. Am I complaining ... nah! Steveston Village is definitely growing out of its 'sleepy village' moniker via several TV & movie shoots taking place here year after year. It's about time it gets funky here via a cool donut shop. My favourite donut here is the Honey Dip. Don't get it confused with the Glazed Donut! I've tried several other flavours but have found the - Honey Dip to be the one for me. Each to his own they say, so why not pop in & find what flavour makes your world go round. This new location has just opened so they're still working out the kinks, so please be patient if service levels are not yet up to par. BTW, if you are driving over here wanting to get real close, I wish you well trying to find parking. Please see my Granville Island review for Lee's Donuts for what first got me excited about this donut shop. Hmmmmmm donuts!
