"Others have tried to copy and steal their recipes and techniques time and time again, but Lee’s Donuts has never been matched. One of the originals on Granville Island, this wonderful family-run shop is one of Vancouver’s best places, period. Peek into the shop window early in the morning to watch 33-year veteran, Alvin, hand roll, cut, and dip every donut. They cannot count the infinite amount of donuts they have made since 1979 because each batch is made-to-order; and it’s never been about the numbers, but about doing it well. Regulars know the daily schedule and buy out the day’s first batch of donuts, freshly glazed, before they have even left the cooling racks. The classic honey-glazed is without compare." - Arithmetic Creative

A must stop! Absolutely delicious cake donuts worth the wait in line and braving the crowds at the public market. The line moves quickly and the staff is very friendly. Donuts are a generous size and filling. Bavarian cream was fantastic and Lee’s does not skimp on the filling. You’ll be sorry if you visit Granville Island and don’t have Lee’s!

Im a big sweets lover! Specifically donuts. This was suppose to be a cinnamon churro cake donut. It wasn’t good. Lacks flavor, the texture isn’t good. Dry. Took one bite and threw it out. Tim’s is better.. disappointing!

Lee's Donut Shop in Granville is a must-visit whenever I’m in Vancouver and this was my third visit. The donuts are always fresh, and there's an enormous selection to choose from..with prices that are reasonable. I've tried several varieties during my recent visits and the raspberry fritter and the peanut donut are still my favorites! The service is quick, whether it’s busy or not, but I’ve noticed that the smiles aren’t always as present as the donut shop’s logo. customer service is pretty standard, but I would still return. It’s definitely a must for tourists!

We only got one donut as a little treat while we wandered Granville Island. Very fluffy and the sweetness was just right. I don't usually have a sweet tooth but the churro donut definitely got me craving it again!

The reviews do not lie the donuts are exceptional, however they are expensive. Pro tip is to eat your donuts inside as the seagulls are very aggressive and will steal your treat from you.
The original and the filled donuts were especially great!

Sunday afternoon at Granville Island is always packed with people especially on a nice day. The line up for Lee's was long, but it didn't take long to grab some donuts.
They had a special that day - 3 donuts for $9, so I grabbed a blueberry cheesecake, Miss Cookie Monster and an original glazed donut.
They were all delicious, and just the perfect amount of sweetness. You can taste the freshness of each donut and it was worth the wait!
Definitely grab a donut if you're by a Lee's Donuts, your taste buds will thank you.

Some of the fluffiest donuts I've ever had. The entrance can be a bit hard to see in the bustle of the market, but I appreciated their attention to detail, especially regarding keeping their door closed to maintain the precise temperatures required for their yeasted donuts to rise optimally. And for $3CAD per donut, this place is a definite must try!

Pretty standard donuts, I got the honey dipped which was nice and light but the raspberry fritter was very doughy.
