It was 12 midnight, and when my friend and I arrived, there was only 1 person ahead of us at a take out window. While ordering 3 different groups of people showed up to place an order, 12 people came all at once at midnight. I was amazed at how tasty the French bread baguette sandwiches were and how the coffee was sweetened just right. YOU MUST TRY THIS PLACE OUT! It was remarkably fantastic!

Kiork order when I saw the line was long. Got my sandwiches fast.

This place has good food just in a bad neighborhood. I went here at night and there were homeless people smoking out a pipe falling asleep standing up. And when we tried to order the woman was not very helpful, she just kept yelling “Kiosk, Kiosk use the Kiosk. Which has a limited selection of the menu available. We called ahead to place an order for eggrolls. When we got there they told us there are none even though on the phone 2min ago they supposedly had them. Go here if you want a hard time

This is my favorite Lee's. They have combo specials. They offer order pick up and they are always fast to get orders out.

Very beautiful place. The breakfast sandwiches are warm and yummy! The cheese was so good as well the bacon. Will definitely come back for more. 😍

First time ever at Lee's and boy was it a great surprise. Huge store that has packaged goods as well as some Asian delicacies. They have an open sandwich bar. We got the special combo Asian sandwich that comes on a 10 inch baguette. They have a combo special that comes with a Vietnamese coffee and a small bag of chips for $10.49. A value that these days are unheard of. We instead ordered a milk tea with boba for $3. The sandwich was great. Tasted fresh and the baguette was awesome and it was obvious that it was baked recently. The milk tea was one of the best we have tasted so far. We are gonna become a regular given there is many locations spread across OC. There is no place to eat inside the restaurant which is surprising given the space in the store. Service was very quick but the store wasn't that busy on a Sunday at lunch time.

First and foremost, you have to respect the hustle of this place. It truly is 24/7. Sometimes at midnight, it's extremely busy, other times it's slow. Holiday or not, this place is 24/7. Have a friend that is a security guard and needs coffee in middle of the night to help stay awake. At 1AM this place has coffee. It has sandwiches, it has baked goods. It has drinks, it has pre-made coffee, coffee in a box. It has Euro Style Sandwiches, it has Asian Style Sandwiches. You can get desserts. The parking lot is a little small, but the line moves pretty fast as it has a steady stream of customers coming in and out at all times. The food is good and the price is very reasonable. Highly recommend, give this place a try.

Yelp
Open 24/7, good Vietnamese iced coffee and I love their breakfast sandwiches. The sesame balls and coconut waffle are great when fresh. Fast order and pick up via Yelp app, if you're in a hurry (in-store prices are significantly cheaper, however.) The parking lot is a little cramped, so be patient.

Yelp
Yelp review Rating: (1 Star) I had a terrible experience at this Lee's Sandwiches location on March 2, 2025, at around 10:20 PM. The staff, particularly Aida, the shift manager and Tony Yu, were extremely rude and dismissive when I asked for assistance in placing my order. Since I couldn't reach the upper part of the self-order kiosk, I requested help, only to be told that they were too busy to assist me. After struggling to place my smoothie order with the help of another customer, I waited 20 minutes for my food. As I turned from the cashier, my 3 smoothies in a tray accidentally slipped and fell to the floor. Instead of handling the situation professionally, Tony initially agreed to replace it, but the night shift manager refused, rudely blaming me for being "incompetent." When I pushed back against their unprofessional behavior, Aida and Tony became hostile, threatened to call security on me, and agreed for me to call the police. This level of disrespect toward a paying customer is completely unacceptable. A kind Vietnamese customer offered to pay for my replacement smoothie just to de-escalate the situation--a level of compassion that the store's own staff failed to show. When I finally received the replacement, my Good Samaritan requested a bag to help me safely carry my drinks, but Aida and Tony refused, making no effort to prevent another accident. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. If you value kindness and respect as a customer, I highly suggest avoiding this location. I hope management takes action to train their employees on basic customer service, professionalism, and human decency. Do better, Lee's Sandwiches! 250303.1AM1207CCH

Yelp
Last week I have gone there to buy their baguette bread because my one of my family members told me they sell fresh bread. I asked one of the working ladies if the bread was fresh, she said it was baked 15 minutes ago. At home it was kinda not fresh but still delicious. The price was reasonable at 2$ per one and they accepted credit card. I did not try any of their sandwiches though. The place looked clean and the staff are responsive to customers and great them I will buy again but in a more early time to get more fresh one Maybe I will also check other things they sell. Location is very good and parking lot available at least after 6 pm.

Yelp
My fiancé loves this place. He says Lees got him through college lol The food is cheap (used to be cheaper). But it is still a good value! We got a couple sandwiches. I like that they put a lot of veggies in there. The vegetarian items are my go-to! The macarons were so fresh! We got a dozen of them. They were assorted flavors. The matcha was actually my favorite one. I couldn't believe how soft they were. You can order from Lee's on Door dash! But to get the cheapest meal, stop into one of the locations. I haven't tried the coffee yet, but I hear that is great. I think they service was a quick. And the ambiance is laid back- it is a t-shirt and shorts kind of place. Nothing fancy. This is a good spot for cheap eats and Vietnamese coffee!

Andrea B.

Yelp
This is my favorite location for Lee's Sandwiches. It's a bit of a drive from where I live but when a restaurant is THAT good; it's worth it. First of all, the service is great. There's friendly and efficient cashiers. The place is very clean and organized inside. The bread is fresh, the coffee is fantastic and the smoothies are delicious. Sometimes they have free tote bags that they give out with purchases (I have two!) They're open past normal hours in comparison to most locations that close at 7 or 8pm. The area is a bit sketchy but they do have security guards which does help. In the late hours, you order through their window or on a kiosk. Can't go wrong with Lee's!

David A.

Yelp
I went to pick up food delivery for uber and the lady is swatting down using her phone not helping me with my order took away my time. Not caring for customers I suppose.

Katherine P.

Yelp
I don't know what's going on with this location but based on our last visit, this place is going downhill. We ordered a banh mi thit nuong (grilled pork) and a small chicken stick which was one of their new items. Talk about misleading photos. In the photos, both sandwiches are full and have spread portions to the bread, but after receiving our order, what a disappointment. There was barely any protein in the grilled pork sandwich, it was just filled with butter, little vegetables, and barely any meat. As for the grilled chicken stick, it was literally just bread and some pieces of chicken. Based on the quality of the sandwich and lack of portions for the inflated costs, I would advise Yelpers to go to other sandwich places where your money might get you more value. Another factor to now consider when coming to this location is all the neighboring transients. It does not feel safe as years past and I do appreciate them having security patrolling, but just know the security guard isn't always there, so be mindful of your surroundings. Such a shame that the quality control has gone down here because this use to be a very popular Lees sandwich place for all the locals.

Ho H.

Yelp
I bought 2 grill pork sandwiches stick tonight, but what I got was very hard bread and the meat looked like it was old, so disappointed with what I got, I couldn't even chew them

Jonthan S.

Yelp
Great service and very nice people. They're the perfect go to place for a midnight snack. They're open 24 hours/7 days and ALWAYS have fresh bread. They're also less expensive than other Lees I've gone to so I'm always coming back!!

Harold V.

Yelp
Fresh baguette. Tasty meats. Nicely pickled veggies. Strong, flavorful Vietnamese coffee. Yummy traditional desserts. Lee's is the Porto's of Vietnamese food. Absolutely delicious and consistent. I'd give them 5-stars, but service is sometimes too "traditional" if you know what I mean. Nevertheless, we dream of these bahn mi's and wish we lived closer to a Lee's!

Jocelyn E.

Yelp
I've been loving their strawberry smoothies lately from here, I'll have to come back and update my review and try the bahn mi sandwiches.

Yelp
I dropped by the Lee sandwich shop just after 8 PM on 12/21 and ordered two sandwiches to go. Then, I decided to add an additional meat to the order while it was being made. There was no problem initially; the cashier asked the preparer to add more meat, but he yelled back, "Already wrapped." However, the cashier insisted that the preparer add more meat, please. To make a long story short, the extra meat was charged, but no meat was added. I will never come back to this Lee's Sandwich place in Westminster again.

Tiffany P.

Yelp
You're basically playing Russian roulette with your mouth every time you come here. It's your mouth vs the baguette, aka whether or not the baguette is going to break into mini bread shards and stab your mouth. Today, I lost. The baguette left my mouth feeling raw and sore. The cherry on top was the meager amount of meat inside my banh mi thit nuong. Lee's, I vouched for you. You're breaking my heart. And my mouth.

Ehsan K.

Yelp
I am surprised how come this is Large Sugarcane juice If I paid in full WHY I am getting half of my glass????? Wait time was horrible plus the service sucks. Never going to this location

Michael M.

Yelp
I tested buy 1 banh mi Que. she said 1 ? With attitude looking on her face then I had to buy additional one Poor service and rude employees. The store is disorganized, with no seating or restrooms, making the long wait to pick up orders even more uncomfortable.

Kat N.

Yelp
1:30 AM July 2nd The cashier works on this day at this time must check her attitude if the customer asked to cut the bread in half then just do so! Omg!!!! So simple why would you give them problem by saying why so much trouble.

Alex A.

Yelp
Charging $5.50 for a sip and all ice is crazy. I put that I wanted 25% ice and I got this. Went to complain and the lady told me they measure the equal amount, no matter the ice request. Ridiculous.

Ashlie B.

Yelp
One star attitude, gets one star review I came with my bf to get a coffee. I waited in the car bc this place is notorious for having homeless people, there wasn't to many ppl ahead of him only 2 ppl they took 290 min then he went to ask how the order was doing she walked away and he just waited for her to come back he wait another 7, went to ask again they saw him yelled " What!" He said oh well it's another 7 & I only Ordered one thing is- she walked away then handed it to him and then ignored him I get ppl are busy but you can be nicer I also work in food and to ignore and yell at someone is just embarrassing and unprofessional

Michelle B.

Yelp
I don't know if it's just me.. but I feel like the quality of their sandwiches have gone down hill.. I feel like they used to put more meat before.. Anyways once upon a time, like 20 years ago, my parents used to always come for their coffee, baguettes (hot), and sandwiches but I feel like neighboring shops have been producing more quality and consistent food or drinks (banh mi Saigon in the Target behind Lees) and even 7Leaves or Da Vien has good Vietnamese strong coffee But yes, I do recommend the banh mi Saigon for their fresh tasting baguettes and sandwiches.. Sorry Lee's, you've been missed

Angeleyna D.

Yelp
They gave me old dry chicken wings that was probably just thrown back in the fryer and also forgot my second order. ( ordered 10 pieces )

Jean S.

Yelp
Lee's Sandwiches is a Vietnamese store/restaurant chain well-known for their Vietnamese sandwiches, Vietnamese coffee, and Vietnamese snacks. I came here for some coffee and snacks, however, they no longer have any indoor seating, so it is to-go only. It was a hot summer day and they did not have the A/C on so it wasn't very comfortable anyway. I ordered a medium and large Ca Phe Sua Da and a Coconut Pandan Waffle. The medium coffee was $3.59, the large coffee was $4.59, and the Pandan Coconut Waffle was $1.99. The Vietnamese coffee had a lot of ice in the cup and was really strong, but tasted not bad. Vietnamese coffee is usually pretty strong, but it was a little too strong for me. The pandan coconut waffle was kind of dry, not fresh, and not very enjoyable. I've definitely had better pandan coconut waffles. Since there was no seating or A/C, we took our snacks across the street to Starbucks, which has plenty of seating and A/C. Next time, I'll probably just go straight to Starbucks if I'm only getting coffee and snacks.

Yelp
I mean this place is open 24/7 so u got me there, it was super busy even at midnight, very affordable Banh mi's and they taste decent, not to die for but for your late night hunger, it works. The blt's on the croissant are pretty good here too. Parking lot is kinda small for such a busy place but it works, there's a window outside to order togo when the inside is closed so no sitting inside when it's late but they do have tables on the other side of the parking lot.

Maureen J.

Yelp
I ordered via Uber eats for pick up. I tried to time it since we were coming from another area. I was disappointed with my experience. First, I had to wait for around 15-20 minutes after I got there when the app said our order was ready. The people who ordered off the kiosk were getting their food before us. I'm not sure what took up the time because our food was cold. We had already drove off when we realized this and didn't want to go back or deal with customer service. All sandwiches, pastries, and baguettes were cold. It was very disappointing. Prices are decent. Food is usually good. We usually have a good experience from Lee's, but we didn't at this location.

Tri N.

Yelp
Today I bought bagatelle for thanksgiving, it was very very bad and tasted bad, I feel like I was cheated out of 10 dollars to buy very very bad bread, I will never come back

Tony L.

Yelp
Came here late for dinner after work around 9 pm. They closed the store but the order window was still opened. I ordered a Vietnamese special sandwich with NO PEPPER (stomach issue even I take it out, the smell still bothers me) and a flan. There was a line of 5 of us. Service was all right. Once I was home, I opened the sandwich and there 4 slices of jalapeños with a lot of seeds. There was also a lot of chả lụa (Vietnamese pork cold cut) with dried edges and a few stringy bbq pork slices. There was a thick layer of pate and literally a whole bunch of cilantro. The pork cold cut was sour - tasted funny. I took the jalapeños out - still spicy . I added some soy sauce. After a couple of bites, I gave up. The flan was bad - room temperature and the caramel juice was murky and smell sour, probably they turned off their refrigerator. I immediately threw it away. Yuck!

Tina R.

Yelp
Aside from the homeless drug addicts hanging out in front of the building, which should of been a sign of how crappy the service and food is inside. Got a turkey sandwich and asked for a extra pickle and was told by cashier that there was already a pickle inside the box. Didn't know how stingy or hard up Lee's is over a frigging pickle. With lots of other places around that offers fresher and better ingredients. Don't waste your time at this location.

Jason L.

Yelp
This is my go-to banh mi place. Banh mi is always good and the service is good. It is a great place to grab food after midnight but it is a bit sketchy with the homeless. They do open the door for you in the daytime so I do give them a dollar.

Lexi L.

Yelp
This place is terrible. My father purchase baguettes. He wanted to try his luck with the scratchers lottery machine. He put his bill in, got a scratcher, and to his surprise...he won $100. He was excited and got back in line to redeem his winning. The female cashier looked at him up and down and proceeded to hand him a counterfeit $100.00. As my father looked at it, some other person behind him, cut in front of him to place the order. He politely asked if he can talk to the cashier and the customer proceeded with his order. My father then asked "Why, you gave me fake money?" Hr cashier denied it and said "You gave me the fake money and I will call the police!" My father was beside himself and said "No, please check your cameras. It wasn't me." She then started talking back and all of the male employees started to threaten my father and say that they will beat him up. After some mixed emotions, he left. Anyhow, my father called me and told me what happened. He was really saddened by the situation and I told him he doesn't need to go to this establishment anymore. I just wanted to share what happened. For anyone who is doubting what happened, would you be so kind to send me an email or send over a text. I would be so happy to discuss what happened with my elderly parents.

Yelp
Even though the baguette sandwiches are Lee's Sandwiches main specialty, I am not a fan of them because of how hard they are. Many customers have had the same issue with the baguettes being tough where it scrapes the roof of the mouth and is tiresome on the jaw to chew. Due to this, I stopped buying their baguette sandwiches and get it in the form of a croissant which is much softer and easier to eat. Also, their croissants are flaky and buttery. The ingredients they use in the sandwiches are fresh and delicious. The best place for Vietnamese coffee is here, hands down. I've tried many Vietnamese coffees from different places but none have come close to the Lee's Coffee here. It is very sweet, creamy and strong without being bitter. The downside is the amount of ice they pack into the drink. The reason they provided was that the excessive amount of ice is to help dilute the coffee since it is concentrated. They also have the best patechaud where it's flaky, flavorful, crispy and moist in the middle. The banh cam which is a deep fried rice ball with mung bean is also really good here and is just the right amount of sweetness. It's crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The wait here isn't too bad even with a long line, the service is pretty efficient. The parking lot is small however, there are usually spaces open and if it gets packed, there is plenty of parking available in the next plaza over.

Yelp
Alright - this review is for the super OGs - we know Lee's lost its way during the 2010's expansion era. This review is focused on the changes I've appreciated in the last year. The bread is much better - they've brought it back to the San Jose butter-balanced baking. Re-toasting baguettes the next few days have shown better results than the decade passed. Let's keep it real, we know Lee's is our Mickey D's success story. Be proud that we can get a decent sandwich 24/7 that's way better value than a Big Mac! Keep it up Lee's - rooting for this viet owned biz

Kim C.

Yelp
What can I say? They open 24/7! Typical Asian sandwich joint. Not very clean. They do have a variety of food and drinks.

Claudia A.

Yelp
Food is nice and warm, but no bathroom available for clients. How am I supposed to eat my warm sandwich. The lady said they had no bathrooms, I'm like wdym? Anyways fyi

Sal R.

Yelp
Dirty... I mean this is a food place, at least keep the inside clean. Also the service left a lot to be desired. I asked for extra jalepeno on my chicken sandwich and was told they couldn't do it. The cashier seemed like she didn't want to be there. Suggest going to a real vietnamese sandwich shop. There are lots in the area with fresher ingredients.

Dawn F.

Yelp
Westminister, CA 4.5 stars seriously this would be 5 stars but I am still in a bit of sticker shock at their new price increase within the past few years. The veggie sandwich I ordered could not cost them more than a few dollars tops and they charged me almost $7 but I am not complaining, it was still good! Not all Lee's are the same consistency, over the years this location has proved to be the most consistent for me. I have visited this particular location dozens of times, in fact this was where I first tried a traditional Banh Mi Vietnamese style sandwich (pickled carrots, daikon, onion, cilantro, jalapeno with your choice of filling on a French style baguette) more than 20 years ago. I don't think I have visited this location in over 4-5 years, and was surprised to see the price jump in offerings...what used to be a $3 and change sandwich is now $6 and change. Thankfully the consistency remains the same. I placed a phone order and was so happy I could place the order and then pay when I arrived. I ordered a 4.5 stars Vegetarian sandwich no soy sauce (which makes this a bit salty) with extra pickled veggies, cilantro and jalapeno. I ordered it with light mayo to add some moisture back since I was not getting the soy sauce. The sandwich was good. 4.5 stars $1.99 I also ordered a hot, fresh, soft Pandan Coconut Waffle for old times sake...we would get one whenever visiting this location. The gal on the phone said they would make one fresh for me, and it was warm and ready when I got to the store. I enjoyed the ease of phone ordering, and the quick in and out service. Glad I visited this location with parking in front and in back of the restaurant...as I was leaving the parking lot I noticed some concrete tables by the grassy area near the sidewalk, never noticed those before, seemed like the homeless were hanging out playing some type of board game. The tables looked dirty and uneven on the ground, the area looked unkempt, I personally would opt not to sit there and there is no dine in seating currently, FYI.

Tiffany W.

Yelp
This place used to be good. But now they've blocked off the restrooms and there is no longer any seating. If you ask them if you can use their restroom they say no.

Stephanie L.

Yelp
Great place great sandwiches the baguettes are great always warm when you get there :) service is amazing too great Vietnamese coffee plenty of parking love this place

Felix P.

Yelp
I visited this Lee's last night, wanted their bbq pork sandwich. Walked in and was kindly greeted by a young. I wasn't ready so she told me to take my time, liked that. Moments after I was then kindly greeted by a young guy. Let's just say these two are on top of it and their customer service is on point. Very friendly, happy & feels very genuine. We need more people like these 2! I have visited other Lee's in the other areas and this one by far has the best customer service & very clean. I ended up leaving with my sandwich, also bought some hot egg rolls and spring rolls. Food was delish & took care of my cravings. Thank you!

Randy T.

Yelp
I haven't been back to Lee's Sandwiches ever since they left my University until tonight! I still love their flavorings BUT the actual bread is still very hard :x.

Thuy Dan T.

Yelp
Lee's Sandwiches is always a safe bet for a decent banh mi in my experience. The french baguette is just right but I wish there was more filling of all the goodies. The Cafe su da here is strong and has just the right amount of sweetness! Service is alway attentive and moves quickly. During the Tet parade, they were also handing out free soymilk outside the storefront which was super sweet of them to do for viewers!

Alexa T.

Yelp
You can't go wrong with Lee's Sandwiches. Their Vietnamese Iced Coffee is strong and is perfect. This location is located on an intersection and is readily busy - it's also open 24/7!

Robert P.

Yelp
2 minute read: So far, We've been to three locations of LEE'S; Brookhurst, Beach Blvd., and in the San Fernando Valley. Last Saturday (08/06/022) we drove all the way to Garden Grove because it is our FAVORITE LEE'S. The Brookhurst LEE'S is bigger than the other two I mentioned. Vietnamese Patrons know more of the products offered, so that leaves me with very little service to you. All I know is, We love the Number one Sandwich on their menu. The baguette is stuffed with delicious veggies slightly marinated and thinly sliced HEADCHEESE. They bake their own bread on the spot, which is nice to smell. One Review by Thuy Dan T., states he wishes the sandwich had "More filling of the Goodies." If you go there for the sandwich, get Number Eleven (11). They call it their special and it is stuffed with Headcheese, Turkey, and some other meat I can't recall. When you order, your receipt will have a number and when your order is ready, they call out the numbers in Vietnamese and in English. No Espanol. The Brookhurst and Beach Blvd Staff is mostly Vietnamese, so pay attention that you don't hear something they didn't say. I'm hard of hearing and I'm always getting mixed up. If I've missed something, I'll catch up next time. Thanks.

Mary E.

Yelp
I got a regular coffee and it was 90% ice. I took about 3 sips before my drink was finished. The picture shows how much ice was left after I drank all my coffee.

Nocturnal S.

Yelp
I haven't eaten Lee's for a while now. Their baguette tends to get very hard. I'm a fan of baguette but this gets so hard that it hurt the roof of my mouth

Kimberly S.

Yelp
So rude ! This place was taking too long for the orders and the attitude for these employees was so unacceptable. No reason to be acting this way at all

Gabrielle D.

Yelp
One of the best Lee's I've been too in terms of service and the amount of items offered in store, even in bulk. Per usual they do not disappoint in authenticity and even being surround by the culture and hearing the dialect spoken, such an awesome experience. Food is always fresh and made to order. Lee's coffee is a staple and bringing home a 6 pack of the concentrate is a must if you are a coffee lover, it does not disappoint! Thank you, gabi

Fi T.

Yelp
Sandwich tastes awful. All their food taste awful It's expensive Not coming back again. Rude customer service too

Trinity T.

Yelp
I usually always have a good experience here, but to be fair I usually stop by during the afternoon and the staff is always friendly. I wanted a late night snack so I stopped by at 11:45pm. They unfortunately were out of what I wanted initially which is totally fine! I just needed some extra time at the self-service kiosk to decide what I wanted instead. I was there for about 7 minutes when the worker told me the kitchen was about to close?? I was so confused because the store is listed as 24/7. He then said "soo..can you like, hurry up?" while doing a spinning motion with his finger. I found that to be super rude. I didn't even have anyone behind me until after I finished ordering. The food is always good here in my opinion but I left feeling mildly upset from the interaction.

Angela N.

Yelp
What Happened?! Is All I'm left wondering.. This is the OG location. The meet up point, pit stop, pick up location of every Sunday family trip to garden grove. The place we all learned to love pickled veggies and cafe. Usually the quality here is unmatched to other locations, but sadly that is a thing of the past. On our way to knotts I had to make a detour to come here and get my banh mi and cafe. The sandwich chefs are different and boy do you taste the difference, and not for the better. I don't even know what I was eating - it taste like nothing slapped together in their signature baguettes. No signature mayonnaise, crumbs of pate and old cilantro. I knew we should've stopped in corona for a banh mi.. definitely won't be returning here.

Terry M.

Yelp
Ordered the chicken sandwich.hardly any chicken or veggies . Expect more for the higher price. Disappointed
